Dr. Heidari is the last of a dying breed of physicians. I’ve been seeing her for the past few months. She truly cares about practicing medicine as opposed to jamming as many patients as possible into a cattle line and billing for unnecessary visits. Her demeanor is brisk and no nonsense. If you’re in search of a social hour instead of a professional interaction, this isn’t the place for you. I came to her with an extensive list of issues and no primary care physician. Most Doctors have balked at the time and administrative burden that a new patient with my history brings and go through the motions as opposed to delving into the diagnostic process from scratch, but not her. The only issue that left me slightly dissatisfied was the demeanor and performance of one of the office workers. Without me saying anything, that worker was replaced by a more experienced and caring young lady by my next visit. This leads me to believe that Dr. Heidari is exceptional at patient care as well as running the business side of her practice. VERY satisfied!

I’ve been seeing Neda since September 2014 for MS. To diagnose me I first had an MRI showing lesions on my brain, but none in my upper spine. Therefore a spinal tap was necessary. Unbeknownst to me, I was leaking spinal fluid after the tap. Three days later I couldn’t lift my head from my pillow without screaming pain. A friend drove me to see Neda, and she gave me pain meds and said it was just a spinal headache and that it should go away, writing me a script for a blood patch if it did not. The next evening I was in the emergency room, and the Doctor said that I leaked out nearly all of my spinal fluid. My brain was sitting on my skull with no cushion. Worst pain of my life, and I missed 2 weeks of work recovering. I recently had an MRI of my brain and upper spine, contrast and no contrast. I also had blood work, an EEG, and a nerve conduction study. When I went in to discuss the results, I find that she hasn’t looked at ANYTHING until I sat down with her. In the 10 minutes I saw her, she studied the results, gave me wrong information about the bulged disks in my neck and said that I had a lesion on my spine. She then checked the MRI that I had before the spinal tap and noticed that the lesion was on that MRI too, and then blamed the Radiology tech for missing it. SHE should have looked at the MRI’s herself instead of relying on the tech! I should have never needed the spinal tap at all! Needless to say, I canceled my last appointment with her and will now be driving over an hour away to see a different Neurologist. Today I receive a «past due» bill of for $ 821.33(no previous notice sent). I pay my co-pay every time I see her, so why would anything be past due? Turns out it’s a bill for the EMG and most recent EEG, and portions of doctor visits going back to October of last year. The first EEG was covered under my office visit co-pay, and since the EMG was in-office too, I had no reason to ever expect a bill of any kind. Now I get a past due bill for services that a price was never discussed for, EVER?! SHADY and INATTENTIVE doctor. DONOT visit!

Dr. Heidari has been a lifesaver. I started having migraines off and on a couple of years ago, and they became more frequent last year. My GP refused to prescribe imitrex. A friend suggested I go to a neurologist. I had no idea who to see so I came on Unilocal.I saw that Dr. Heidari had 5 stars so I called her office. She did some tests, bloodwork, and we monitored the migraines. She prescribed Topomax and I have not had a migraine since. This has been life-changing. The migraines were debilitating. She also discovered that I have occipital neuralgia, and the Topomax has helped with that. I no longer get the pain in the back of my neck/head that shoots up and around into my eye. I have had that since i was a child but nobody has ever solved the problem or treated me for it. A couple of doctors told me they were vasospasms and there was nothing they could do for it. Fortunately, Dr. Heidari knows her stuff! I no longer have that horrible pain that I have had for the past 40 years. She is kind, caring, compassionate, and proactive. I highly recommend her! I would not trust my care to anyone else. I can see clearly now and my life has totally changed. Thank you, Dr. Heidari!!!

Dr Heidari has truly changed my life. I have had epilepsy since my 20’s and numerous doctors were unable to pinpoint exactly why I was feeling the way I was even after treating my major seizures. I started seeing her as soon as she arrived in Ventura and she immediately suggested a video monitoring test that caught smaller seizures I was having. She adjusted medications that made me feel 100x better and has been following me ever since. She is incredibly compassionate and brilliant! My husband and I are now looking to start a family and she is taking such care to make sure my medications are the safest for myself and the most up to date research for child bearing. I cannot say enough about her– if you are looking for a neurologist who is an expert in her field, relentless in a solution and compassionate you will want to make an appointment. You will be received with a warm smile and confidence. If you have been to as many neurologists and ER’s as I had been this was and has been an amazing feeling.

Best of the best, can’t say enough about her, helped me with my facial pain which had almost made me suiccidal. Also helped my daughter with diagnosing her Multiple sclerosis and seizure disorder and starting her on treatment, this was diagnosed by other neurologist as psychosis and mood problem, now we are both stable and happy. she makes my daughter feel good about herself when ever we see her as she reassures her that she is young, beautiful and she should continue her education and normal life . we recommend her to every one looking for a real diagnosis.

I initially went to Dr. Heidari for migraines. I had to go back to her for excruciating pain from sciatica. Dr. Heidari is fantastic. She immediately made suggestions and treatments for the migraines. Regarding the sciatica, the office managed to squeeze me in at the last minute, and Dr. Heidari was very compassionate and pro-active. She administered a treatment and some medicine, and was terrific about making sure I got the proper treatment later as well. I cannot praise Dr. Heidari and her staff enough. The office girls were gems as well. I would definitely recommend them.
