Worst customer service ever. After waiting for two weeks for an appointment, we were canceled with less than two hours notice. Tech said he did not want to do the service because we were located too far away??? From Oxnard? DONOTUSETHISCOMPANY! Many other good garage door companies are available locally.

A Customer Service Nightmare @ Mesa Garage Doors! I sent this email to the owner, Mr Dwight Esnard; he never replied. Dear Mr. Esnard, Where do I begin… On September 22nd I called Mesa to request repair service as my garage door was sputtering. I was advised the earliest appointment would be Monday, September 24th. I called my employer and arranged to take the day off and I waited for the technician who was due between 11am and2pm. At 12:44pm, I received a voicemail message stating the tech was not completing his scheduled calls due to illness. I was disappointed to hear this news but these things happen. The next appointment is made for Saturday, September 29th. By Wednesday, September 26th, the door went up but would no longer close; it had locked up in the«up» position. Imagine my concern when I received a call from my 76 year-old neighbor called to let me know. I immediately called Mesa and asked for a technician to come to my home and help on an emergency basis. When I reached a person(Kristen or Helen?) in service/repair I was met with reticence and impatience. I begged and begged. Finally, they advised me that a tech was in Granada Hills and he would be sent to Chatsworth to close the door. He came by about two hours later and he successfully closed the door. I was charged $ 35.00 for this service. No problem. The technician told your service team that the spring on the door was broken. Now I am unable to use the garage at all. My car has to be parked outside. I live in a townhome community in Chatsworth and this made it very difficult because I leave my house between 5am and 5:30am. I mentioned this problem to a friend(a customer then but a former customer today) about the problem I was experiencing. My friend kindly decided to provide me some assistance by calling to inquire if I could get service sooner that Saturday. We spoke to two service people and all we got is NO, NO, NO! No one would help me; no one would consider this request. One quote from the service rep was«I can’t do anything else for you». That is when my friend asked to speak to a manager. It took some talking to get that to happen. We were put on hold several times but we could not get a manager on the phone. Finally, Jason Smith took over the call. After about 30 minutes, he agreed to have a technician at my house by the next day, Thursday, September 27th. He was due between 3pm and 5pm. I did not have to stay home from work to wait for the tech this time. When I arrived at home at 5pm, my neighbor told me the tech had been there but he left without fixing my door. Dismayed, I called Mesa once again. I was told the tech left because he did not have the correct spring with him. Jason had told us the evening before that they knew exactly which spring was needed. I called my friend again. I was so upset, my friend told me he was going to call around to find another company. by 5:45pm, he called me back to say a repair technician would be at my house to fix the door between 6pm and 8pm. The tech arrived at 6;45pm. He replaced the spring and I pulled my car back into my garage and I slept well that night. The sound of my garage door opening and closing was a symphony! I cannot articulate the emotions and mental stress I went through when I was dealing with Mesa Garage Doors but I can tell you, it was the most horrible experience. Every person I spoke to was rude, impatient, condescending and worse INDIFFERENT to my needs. On Friday when I called Mesa to cancel the Saturday appointment, I spoke with Brandon. He told me he is a supervisor. He was very respectful and very much a professional as I relayed my discontent with Mesa. In the day of social media, all of us should be cognizant of our behaviors because fairly or unfairly, much is published that ordinarily would not be. I will probably not hear from you but please remember, you are only as good as the people who work for you! Elizabeth Tismeer
