Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Pretty simple to rent a car from here.
Save yourself the hassle & book online. That way things go smooth when you are there in person. You don’t even have to pay right away online, mainly just to reserve the type of car class that suites your needs.
During the actual rental checkout at Enterprise they ask if you have a major credit card. If you don’t have a major credit card, they’ll take two forms of info (cell phone bill & any utility bill). Fyi they take out $ 200 for the deposit. & if you have any left over amount from the rental, they credit it back in your account.
During this rental, Brett helped me out & made the process pretty easy. & the rental drop off was simple too… If you need a ride to rent, they can pick you up & if you need a ride back, they’ll drop you off. Just give yourself an extra 30 minutes.

My car was getting some service done at Carmax, and since it was going to need a few more days as expected, the customer service at Carmax was able to get me into a rental car in which they were going to take care of. The process was super easy– my service guy sent me over to the Enterprise across the way, & I was then handed off to Nick, one of the manager associates in training. When I walked in, he knew exactly what I was in for and took good care of me. After signing a few papers and performing precautionary checks, I was in my rental car within 30 minutes of walking in. Because Carmax and insurance was going to cover this rental, it was absolutely stress free. Originally I was to get a small sedan, but Nick was able to get me an upgrade for a small SUV for free, thanks Nick! After we both performed the inspection for both inside and outside of the vehicle, I was then on my way…
Returning the vehicle was an easy process. Enterprise had me return the car at Carmax, and associates from Enterprise went to pick it up.
I really appreciated the customer service huddle here and the way my experience flowed smoothly.
Only con is that the car smelled like cigarettes. Note: Sit in your rental for a few minutes to make sure it doesn’t stank.

Pretty disappointed, I’ve rented from Enterprise many times in Ventura, with no complaints.
First irritating incident was not a big deal, they asked for a credit card and swiped it without telling me that it was a $ 500 deposit! Good thing I didn’t offer my debit card!
Second, super high pressure sales for the extended protection. The salesman made me feel like I’m the only person in the world who ever opted out of buying additional coverage!
«really man, most people don’t skip over this, I need your signature that you decline to have the vehicle covered. It’s on you from here. What’s your deductible?»
My main concern — my wife and I asked about returning the vehicle and we were told over and over that it’s based on a calendar date and we had until closing to return the vehicle. When my wife did return the vehicle she was told that she had to pay an additional day because the vehicle was returned later than the check out date.
Lastly– the vehicle was so dirty that my wife had to request that the car be washed before renting. They treated us like this was such a huge favor, a clean car when you drive off…
I don’t think that I’ll recommend Enterprise in the future, if needed definitely spend the time to go to the Ventura branch.

After a horrible experience at a Ventura Enterprise where we had rented from regularly, and have spent literally thousands of dollars with over the past two years, we were ready to switch to another rental company altogether or postpone our drive to orange county. Not wanting to miss time with our friends down there, though, cuz nothing’s hotter than the OC, we decided to give Enterprise one more chance, but definitely NOT to the condescending employees at the other location (uh, sorry, but to get nasty with a customer for not wanting to rent a car with part of the bumper hanging off is NOT an example of how to treat your loyal peeps.) It was short notice on a busy Saturday, Sept 26, transferring the rental to Oxnard right as they were closing, but Aaron Schlabra and his team were soooo friendly, courteous, professional, and awesome at explaining Enterprise’s new deposit policies.
Returning the car a few weeks later, they were just as warm and welcoming when I returned the car for my partner. While it’s extrwmely inconvenient to us because we are too far away to get picked up or hitch a ride home, the awesome attitude and customer-​dedicated demeanor of the Oxnard folks has won our business, we just try to schedule to drop one of our cars off to have something to drive home upon rental return.
P. S. it would be terrific if the Oxnard team could retrain the Ventura employees in customer service, or at least provide them with a much needed attitude adjustment.

I was initially frustrated that our month-​old reservation did not «reserve» the vehicle that we wanted. When Corky found out that we needed it for my disabled dad, he hustled-​up a mini-​van and that was a relief. I was beginning to wonder if we would make it to our vacation. Thanks for finding one all the way down in T.O. and sending your guy to pick it up. We really appreciate it!

I usually use my friends at the Ventura Store. But, I missed closing time last Saturday! I had my reservation sent to Oxnard.
Aaron took care of me needs there and, The Oxnard store Rocks just like the Ventura one!
Why would anyone go anywhere but Enterprise? You would be crazy and stupid if you did.

YOU have GOT to be KIDDING me! They tried to rent a fifteen passenger van to our International Student Group with THREE DUCT TAPED seatbelts. The woman helping us tried to say it would be OK for the students to sit in a van where the seatbelt work duct taped… This is RIDICULOUS, UNSAFE and ILLEGAL!!!

I rent a car every month for business purposes. Cameron rented me a car that ended up breaking down on me. When I had called him about my concern that the «check engine» light was on, he stated I should be fine. That was not the case. Lauren came to the rescue and personally delivered me a different car. I had headed out of town in my own car of course and I had to work around Lauren delivering me the new car. It definitely was an inconvenience and put a damper on my entire weekend. The customer service at this location is very inconsistent. I prefer to use the Ventura location on Thompson Blvd! Tom and Delia are absolutely amazing!!!

My work provides me with a rental car and for the last 6 months I have gotten my car from Enterprise by the Automall in Oxnard. From the first day everyone at this location treats you like V.I.P. I am so pleased with the service. Today I had to bring my car in because I was in a minor fendor bender and John help me out. He made my day with his great service and had me back on the road in a swift. This location is fantastic.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service, attitude of staff, and overall service experience at this location. I have used Enterprise all over the country and while its a «good» company. .. my experience at the Oxnard location was excellent! Lauren Tillman, Management Trainee was positive, professional, knowledgeable and had a terrific attitude. Enterprise has a great potential manager on their hands with this employee. Best Enterprise experience in over 20 years. ..

I rented a vehicle as a «loaner» vehicle since my vehicle was in service at the Ford Dealer. Upon rental, the car was dirty and only had a half tank of gas. The rep kept pushing me to buy their gas as it was cheaper than anything around. She also assured my that their Ford Focus didn’t have the problems that most Ford Focuses are having (which is why my vehicle was in the shop). I returned the Focus yesterday and kindly expressed concern to the rep that their Focus in fact had the same shudder upon acceleration problem mine was having, and that perhaps they should have it looked at. I was told that until there is a recall, there were no plans to have the car brough in for service. I was disappointment that they are placing people in a vehicle that has a know issue and weren’t willing to do anything about it.
To update my review, I received a call today from the manager at the location, John. He informed me he’s grounded the Ford Focus I was using and that he was going to look into what should be done about the rest of their fleet that may have the same problem. He also said that he would bring the car into Ford himself to have it checked out. I’ve given two additional stars, because that is excellent customer service.

I booked a 4-​door Ford Focus hatchback for 25 bucks a day. What they offered me was a Dodge Challenger (saying it had a big trunk) or a Dodge Minivan for 45 bucks a day. Enterprise feels like they are doing me a favor by giving me a good rate on a vehicle I didn’t want. This happens a lot I think, and not just with Enterprise. I’m just not going to give them a free pass on trading me up to a more expensive vehicle.

My experience with enterprise has always been great. I just recently went to vegas with my husband and about 60 miles before we got there we got a flat tire, we put on the spare and wondered what to do so… i called their customer service line and they were so nice and made it easy to understand what to do… she said «take it in to your closest enterprise which is the las vegas airport and they will switch out your car» thats exactly what we did and they were great. We were in and out in like 10 minutes. no muss no fuss… it was awesome.

My car was filthy dirty and gas was almost on empty. I think this is unacceptable. They kept saying how busy they are; like I was suppose to feel sorry for them. All I kept thinking was how management wasn’t scheduling employees properly to make sure this doesn’t happen. I won’t go back.

Awesome friendly and speedy service. Enterprise works well in conjunction with Superior Collision and AAA. They will also pick you up if needed.

Great customer service at this location! They were very quick to pick me up and drop me off when I needed and even gave me free upgrades without any hassle when they did not have the car I had reserved.
