Place isn’t very clean. But the good area is. But the woman can use a hair net especially the food doesn’t have covers. Good food tho. Chow mein isn’t that good. Big chunks of half raw and half cooked onions. That’s the only flavor to it. Had orange chicken and teriyaki chicken both were really good. I asked for the single white boxes just because I love eating out of them but there prices are higher then Panda Express. Don’t know why if it’s not the cleanest place. But would get the other items other then chow mein again

Was in the mood for noodles, this was the first place I saw, their noodles were flavorless and chewy. The veggies might have been the only good thing I had even though they seemed a bit old. The egg rolls okay. I would not go back. Rather spend a little more and go to China Square or even Panda when I’m in the mood for Chinese. By the way, it’s cash only.

If you’re ever in downtown Oxnard for some reason or another and have a craving for Chinese food without the sit down restaurant atmosphere, Downtown Express is definitely the place to go! They’ve got an extensive selection of delicious Chinese style food and the family that owns and runs the place are wonderful people!
If they had soup then this would definitely be a 5 star review
