I reviewed Dada back in 2013 and I still go to him to have my haircut. He has moved to Ventura, but he is well worth the drive. Still the best!

Dada is so awesome; I’ve gotten my hair cut by him twice, and I’m going back for my third this week. He asks you what you want, and then does what you REALLY want, since you just didn’t know what you really wanted. His style is modern, hip, and clean. He has a fair price and is easy to make appointments with. I highly recommend Dada to anyone who’s looking for a new barber/​stylist.

Dada’s barber is actually located inside the Cabelos Salon. It’s a separate section in its own area.
He was very professional from the first meeting all the way till the end. I wasn’t sure how to explain what I wanted, but he was understanding and took the time to figure it out. Once I was in the chair he struck up conversation and the haircut was flawless. The treatment was top notch old fashion style with an all around professional touch. You won’t be disappointed going here, from the haircut, to the extras that come with it, to the extremely competitive price. I will definitely be returning for all future cuts to see him.

5 stars, because it’s 5 star treatment «PERIOD!!» Dada does not cut any corners when you’re in his chair. Very professional and precise with every tool. Stop by and treat yourself with a Class A cut and shave, I promise you will not be disappointed.

BEST SHAVE EVER!!! Every man should indulge in a manly facial and straight razor shave at least once in their lives. Dada has the magic hands. Get your face in Dada’s chair you will not be disappointed and your face will be baby butt smooth.

Perhaps one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had! I’ve been in search of a good contemporary barber and Dada’s the guy. Like many of the other posts state, his attention to detail is awesome and you actually feel that your haircut is worth what you pay. I’ll definitely be coming back for future haircuts and a shave! FYI — «The Grooming Room» is inside Cabelo’s salon.

I’m am not reviewing from my personal experience, but from my husband’s experience. For my husband, he really enjoys his experience with Dada. Dada’s level of service, and expertise is far above others my husband has experienced. Usually, my husband gets a shave, and sometimes a cut. His shaves last about 5 days, which is really fantastic. Also Cabellos Salon is in a great location for us.

Dada is amazing and when he left Thousand Oaks, I have not been happy or satisfied with my husband’s hair cut by other barbers. He is the best and pays attention to detail. He takes his time and has such precision, his skills definitely do not fall short of amazing! He totally gave my son a complete makeover and he looked like a different kid! It’s a bit of a drive from Simi, not too bad, but for the quality of work Dada does, we’ll make the drive!

Hand’s down Dada is the best barber in the 805. I’ve been going to Dada for full head and face shaves for the past 2 years. I’ve followed him from a couple of other shops he used to work at Ventura County. I am so excited to see him open his own shop finally and do what he is so gifted to do. His attention to detail is amazing if you are looking for a razor shave for your head or your face. Do not go anywhere else go see this guy and I promise you not only will you be amazed at how he cuts hair and does shaves you will be happy with the money spent. Hands down one of the nicest barbers I’ve ever met!
