This carniceria is a small shop owner operated that stocks all the thing a small corner convenience store with decent prices. What drove me here was the small restaurant inside where the make tacos torts and burros as well as quesadillas. They are fast and offer them at a decent price. I was impressed because the lady making them does not shy from adding extra on too of what you order. She piled on the caritas and even bagged up some roasted chiles and grilled onions. The food was delicious and was in a food coma shortly after, I slept like a baby. I picked up some jarritos(the equivalent of coke or Pepsi in mexico) they also stock jumex and Arizona teas which also go very well with the food. This little store definitely caters to the Mexican pallete, but will definitely satisfy those who fare venture to this part of town, where you find loiterers on front of the store and little thugs who almost want to ask you«where you from» no joke. I will be coming back despite that.

Not what I remembered it used to be. The person making the burrito was super nice, but I used to remember the burritos being so much bigger. We also went very late at night, so the meat wasn’t as fresh. The chichiron was stinkin’ spicy as heck!

I. Burrito A. Meat = Barbacoa, about 6 oz., flavor wasn’t anything special B. Rice = authentic and good C. Beans = Refrieds and good D. Cilantro & Onions E. Lots of hot sauce, good F. Price = $ 4.50 G. Size = Medium/Large II. Taco A. Meat = Buche, good B. Salsa, Cilantro, Onion C. Two corn tortillas D. $ 1 This place was okay, but I’ve found better for a lower price and there is no seating because it’s a market. Go to Tacos De Mexico on 5th Street instead.
