A Burger

This place is the bomb. Good food and friendly staff adds up to repeat visits here. Been here so much some of the staff know my name already. Good breakfast burritos. Chile burgers as good as Tommys without the drive. Phone ahead is great when you have time considerations

Meh. Too much bun and not much flavor. We had Chilli burgers really could only taste the onions.
The service was good. Oddly, my dining partner looked up and asked «what would you do if there was a drive by shooting right now?» It was odd because I had been thinking the same thought…
Buddy burger is just down the street and better.

There’s something about that charbroiled taste that can’t be duplicated anywhere else. 70’s vibe will make you feel like you traveled back in time! Outdated but the food makes up for it. Large burgers.

I love their food! It is so fresh, and the place is always so clean. The service is great too! The people there are so kind.

Reminds me of Whataburger in Texas. Big ass burger and real potato tasting fries. I may get a shake on the way out. The décor is a little 70s McDonald’s like. Only came in because my wife was coming in from the Bay via bus which was late. Made the right choice. Was absolutely satisfying. Only getting a shake because it sounds great and if the burger and fries are an indication, then it’ll be really good.

A simple but tasty burger at its best. Prices were cheap, burger was huge. The inside of the joint can use a little remodeling but overall they were clean. Service was fast as well. Overall, not so bad.

I recommend the chilli on anything it was really good. Decent prices and it was clean. Not much variety but enough to find something worth eating. Great for fast food.

This place was once a really good hidden burger spot. Now though, I’d have a hard time recommending it. Place looks and feels dirty with the food quality and appearance being very questionable. It’s a bit pricey for what they offer. I’m all for a good mom and pop shop but this place really needs to re-​evaluate the way they run business. 2 stars for the memories.

This place has really gone down in quality.
Employees are sort of rude and sanitary conditions don’t look good. Many help customers and work register and immediately prepare foods WITHOUT washing hands.
Food is almost always overcooked and burgers are soggy.
Onion rings come out darker than dark too.
A Burger? More like Gross Burger

This place gets a good rating not because of the taste of their food but by the amazing staff. They’re a pretty simple burger joint, but their burgers are massive. I got an A burger with cheese and some chilly cheese fries (cuz I’m a fatty like that) and it hit the spot. The spot being that sudden urge for a burger. If you don’t understand that urge of driving home from a desk job, stuck in traffic and starting to convince yourself about why it’s ok to eat out, you don’t know the struggle. Anyway, I didn’t feel like crap after eating it, and it’s not like your typical burger place where you know the quality of the food has so much chemicals or mayo (* cough *cough Mcdonalds/​Carls jr) and the portion is made for toddler and not grown men that do manly things in manly ways… Like build thing… w wii wit with with their HANDS! … Anyway,(not sure where I was going with that last sentence) my point is it’s worth checking out, just to restore your faith in humanity if nothing else and have a burger like the burger use to taste like back in the day. Take that statement how you will. Lastly, they apparently have amazing hot dogs too, but I don’t really eat hot dogs so I haven’t tried it. The pictures of them look good though. … No homo. Haha

Love this place. I eat here often. Maria and the lovely ladies take good care of me. Food is delicious. You need two hands for their big, juicy burgers with tasty meat. Fries are old fashioned, hot and good! This place is a habit for me! Don’t let the looks fool you there is great food here!

Love this place! Pastrami Sandwich is juicy and delicious. Burgers are okay. I haven’t had there Hot Dog. French Fries and Chili Cheese Fries are good. Prices are reasonable.

Place is outdated. Service is bad and the food is even worst.
Not as great as people make it out to seem.

A Burger has been one of my favorites for the longest time. Always fresh and consistently good. I have too have A burger at least once every couple of months.
Its a good burger, yes the décor /​place is dated, but its clean and the food is always fresh and clean, delicious and thats all that really matters too me.

This place is old enough to warrant a «historical landmark» status. The darn place, albeit it has had a few name changes along the way” remains with basically the same menu. It’s greasy and yummy at the same time. Have been patronizing this place for years, many, many years… The inerior décor is so darn dated that it’s so retro-​cool! LOL. Kinda like, the old McDonalds yellow & white stripes from an era long gone. Any who, the place is strategically located and prices are reasonable. It’s a unique experience… Enjoy.
