Dropped off over a week ago. Called to check on the status of the machine.
Response: «Nope, not yet. Probably tomorrow. Or later this week.» That was helpful.
Going on a week and a half and they haven’t even looked at it. It’s just sitting there. Asked if they had a rough idea of an estimate to fix it…
Response: «No.»
Awesome. Obviously this is the last time I’ll bring anything there. I don’t have ²⁄₃ weeks to wait every time I need something done.
I’ll make the trip to Orange or Milford next time. Apparently Little River doesn’t need the money.

I’ve read some negative reviews before going to this place and discounted them thinking that customers complain too much for nothing sometimes.
It is too bad that Husqvarna has this shop as a dealer. I brought my one year old $ 400 Husqvarna brush cutter for repairs under Husqvarna warranty. The lady told me that they would call me. Never happened. Week later I stopped by and found that my tool was in a back of the shop all week and they had no time to look at it. I asked when I can expect it back, the owner of the store Tom took fuel cap off, put finger in a fuel tank, sniffed it and diagnosed that brush cutter failed because of stale old fuel. He said that Husqvarna is not going to cover it.
I know for a fact that I put fresh fuel in before bringing it to the shop.
Even if it was the case, you can’t deny warranty repairs after just sniffing equipment.
It’s the only place in town like Oxford with big properties and a lot of landscaping companies around. They don’t need your business as a homeowner, unless you want to buy something.
I took my brush cutter to another dealer in Orange, CT, they found a faulty fuel line and fixed it on a spot.
Stores like this make people go to big box stores where you can find some kind of remedy if you’re mistreated.
I felt like I had a leading role in a sketch when customer tells associate :” I’m gonna complain to the manager !!!” And the associate says: «Go ahead, I’m the manager».

Left my Chain Saw here for a week. Never heard back. When I called and asked what was up the person on the phone simply stated «Maybe we can take a look at it in another week and give you a call. I am going to pick it up today and do business elsewhere. I will likely send and email to Huskavarna to get the regional sales manager in the loop. I think they can do a better job selecting their distributors.
One suggestion to the owner… let your customers know the anticipated lead time when they drop things off so they can deicide if they want to leave them or take their business to someone who can provide more responsive service.

Little River kept my equipment a week past promised. Charged me 2 hours for a job that should have taken, at most, half the time. Broke a piece and claimed it was «lost.»
If I were you, I’d keep my mowers and other power tools away from this business. Don’t believe me, bet your equipment on it.

i just bought a husqvarna 562xp chainsaw today salesman was great and gave me great price was cheaper with tax than anyhwere online and I looked everywhere for past month saw works great even received a extended 2 extra warrenty fro buying 3 quarts if pre mixxed gas which were also much lower priced than anyone else around A+++

Oh, I like this place. I bought a pair of gas shears here last year. I was very pleasantly surprised to be treated, not as a woman in a power equipment store, but as the landscaper that I am.
They had exactly what I was looking for and everyone was friendly and helpful.
They also service equipment. Tune-​ups, sharpening, repairs, etc.
