This is a winery with a vineyard, set in a beautiful location with a colonial style home. The scenery and seating is just gorgeous. The staff are always friendly and accommadting, even for large groups. No need for appointments. You get 4 wine samples for $ 3. They even serve complimentary crackers or you may order some snacks for an additional fee. This is always a wonderful stop on the maine wine trail. They have something on the menu for al wine enuthusiasts. They have even started making ciders. The sweet cider was good. I would have prefered it to be carbonated. The bee’s knees mead was an excellent semi-sweet honey wine. The reisling was a little drier than I perfer, but wonderful fruity flavor. The estate marquette was a nice red wine. The rose was excellent, not too dry and full of flavor notes.

ROCKLANDLOCATION We went here for a wine tasting and had a great time. No appointment is necessary you can just walk in at any time and have a wine tasting. The location is right downtown and the store was clean and very cute/comfortable. For a very small fee we each tasted 4 wines from the list and we ordered some crackers & cheese, a super yummy honey infused goat cheese that was so good we ate the whole container! The 2 friendly women who were on staff were super nice and explained the wines to us and answered all of our questions. The locally made wines were very good and I tried some Mead for the first time and enjoyed it so much that we left with a bottle and a bottle of a wine named«Something Sweet». You can do a tasting or order full glasses and hang out on the comfy chairs that are inside and out front on a sidewalk area. A very nice way to spend an hour enjoying a nice place with friendly people.

Visited the tasting room in Rockland and discovered a new fave! Great varieties, settled on the oak casked Chardonnay, so happy with our choice! Only wish the local restaurants sold them, as the glasses we had while staying in town didn’t match up! Also bought the Chardonnay jelly made from their grapes & can’t wait to bring home to Cali and try!

We visited the storefront tasting room in Rockland as it was a Sunday and the farm and vineyard in Owls Head are closed On Sunday. It is a very nice shop and friendly staff, reasonable tasting price. They have several to choose from and two Estate wines. Will visit the farm and vineyard next time!

I attended one of their walk-in wine tastings at the storefront in Rockland which was affordable at $ 3 for tastings of 4 wines. One thing I took note of was that they produce a mead which was fragrant but not too sweet. However, the blueberry wine(paired with dark chocolate) was phenomenal.

We served the Riesling at home with a swordfish stew. It was outstanding. Use your GPS to make the right turns. Lovely, peaceful location and tasting visit.

This place is beautiful. It’s a stunning house in an amazing landscape. It’s also nice inside. The wines were much better than we expected, especially for a fairly new winery. This is definitely worth the stop.
