Service was fantastic! Especially considering the fact that we had a party of thirteen and we came in 10 minutes before closing. They remained enthusiastic about our company. The food tasted really great too! I ordered the mashed potato bacon pizza slice and I was pleasantly surprised with it. The size of the single slices we all ordered were enough to fill each of us to a satisfactory level.

Great local pizza place, one block from the downtown riverfront park. Pizza — whole or by the slice — with lots of fun varieties. The pulled pork pizza is awesome! They also have a nice selection of local/regional craft beers.

Had lunch on a beautiful sunny day in April. Staff was energetic and very friendly. Service was exceptional and food fantastic. We had two slices of pizza, the pizza knots and 3 mixed drinks and the total was only $ 29.00! Awesome! We will be back!

Disappointed. Middle part of crust was really soggy and not really cooked properly. The toppings were good, sauce, cheese, etc. but the crust kind of ruined the rest of the pizza. I’ve had by the slice and it’s usually pretty good. This time ordered full pizza and really disappointed.

Settled in Downtown Owensboro, Fetta is a Pizza Eatery nestled on the riverfront by Smother’s Park. Parking on the street only. The building appears to be a blast from the past with a major upgrade. Now looking fresh, crisp and hip, it’s a great venue for lunch. The little place was packed with the buzz of satisfied foodies. There is seating in many areas giving for much larger crowds. Also has a nice long bar facing the open food prep. Our crowd got the salad and sandwich combo. All were delighted and impressed. Speciality drinks were also dazzling. As abundant as it was, there were no flavors that I can’t find elsewhere. The experience was more about the atmosphere. Overall a great place for a lunch with your trendy friends.

Had the pulled pork pie but in a calzone. Cooked to perfection and the pork melts in your mouth. Even though our order was messed up they were QUICK to redo it and bring it to the table. Service was great even though it was really busy. I will def eat here again! FYI Ladies check out the bathroom!

Ok let’s talk about this place… I stopped by on a whim, as I don’t live in Owensboro and now I’m sad I don’t have one closer! First it’s adorable, it small, decorated beautifully and super clean inside and out! Clean inside and out is very important to me because if the owner doesn’t mind what his customers are seeing on the outside then that makes me question what’s go on behind the scenes in the kitchen! There’s upbeat music playing at a medium level so if you’re wanting a quiet atmosphere, get it to go and take it home They are making the pizzas up front where you can watch and have pizzas on display that you can buy by the slice! Ah~mazing! Now to the pizza, omg delicious! I did half BBQ and half potato 12 inch(small) and it was less than $ 14! What?! That’s insane! The crust is spectacular, a little sweet, not super thin but definitely not think, it’s the Goldilock’s of crust if you will. The toppings are superior, you can really tell they are not taking short cuts or using cheap ingredients, simply amazing! Lastly I have to talk about the gentleman that opened the door for us as we arrived. I had my twins 8 year old boys with me and he said«Get in here, we’ve been waiting for you all night!» With a huge smile! It was awesome and the boys got a kick out of it. Then as we were patiently waiting for our pizza(to go) he came and asked if it was ok if he offered the boys a drink(the young lady I paid had already offered me one) while they were waiting! How sweet is that! It is because of him that I will recommend this place to everyone I know local and will be back every time I pass through Owensboro, the fabulous pizza will just be a bonus

My daughter practically forced me to try this place because she SWEARS by their potato pizza. We just happened across this place one day while wandering around my favorite part of Owensboro and had to try it based on her recommendation. I tell you what, we were NOT disappointed and I cannot wait to go back to have a full pie of that potato pizza. That stuff is amazingly addicting! I’m giving it a 4 stars based on the service. The server gave our pizza to the wrong table, and they ate it, so we had to wait for another one; switched our appetizers with another table so we didn’t get the correct sauce we ordered… nor did they. Although she was apologetic, and the other table turned out to be some awesome people to talk to, Fetta really needs to work on their service. The drinks are awesome and they serve ginger beer! BONUS! We’ll be back for sure. I just hope the service has improved.

Nice pizza location within walking distance to several business’. Upon entry I immediately noticed the Italian décor as well as cleanliness of seating area. Pizza is prepared in a large brick oven which faces the customer along with several pizza by the slice options. Staff were very attentive and available. Small bar area located in the back corner of restaurant. Overall great experience.

Fetta! There’s no need to wonder why they’re always packed & busy here. Great pizza, whole or by the slice, awesome garlic knots & fresh/seasonal flavored and an ever changing menu. My last stop in, my wife and I split the Sausage & Potato white pizza. Topped with a cream sauce, white beans, perfectly cooked potatoes and a great seasoned sausage, this unique pizza was the equivalent of one of my favorite winter soups. It feels a smudge pricy at first, but when you receive your order, you’ll understand that you are definitely getting what you pay for! Super friendly staff, live music outside(when the weather is right) and easy access to the awesome waterfront park(Smother’s Park) Fetta is great for a date or family night out. Everyone will get something they’ll be immensely happy with! *This review from a family of 5 with different tastes across the board.

Good pizza, reminds me of Great Northern Pizza Kitchen, but instead of specializing in making everyone their own individual pie, Fetta does slices that they re-heat for you. Don’t get me wrong, they’re not bad at all, good crust, good fresh toppings and dynamite service. It can get a little loud in there and it’s definitely a «family» restaurant, so if you’re expecting something quiet, without a lot of families with kids making a bit of noise it’s probably best to keep looking. If you want a couple of good slices of pizza, quickly, with great service, and maybe a good beer to wash it all down then Fetta is your place in Owensboro.

I want to love fetta, I really do. I have been there a few times now and every time it is just ok. The pizza is good but not great. I have never had a pizza I thought was truly bad, but none of them were great either. Their garlic bread knots are very good, though. One of the things I really dislike is the disjointed atmosphere. Walking into Fetta, it seems like a classy casual dining restaurant. The décor is very nice. However, they give you a paper cup and plastic dinner ware. A lot of the food is served in to go containers. I’m not trying to be a snob, but I find the atmosphere confusing. Is this place a classy casual dining establishment or a generic pizza parlor? They seem as though they can’t decide. The service at Fetta has always been good. On our last trip their my wife and I had a couple of issues. Our order took quite a while and when it did come out we had the wrong pizza. However the way the staff handled the issue was great. They more than made up for our trouble. They allowed us to keep the incorrect pizza for free and then made us the pizza that we ordered. They also comped out garlic knots. The waitress and manager were very apologetic and gracious. The true measure of service is how well the staff handles problems.

We were part of a large group. The service was good overall considering the crowd. My pizza was hot and tasty. Some of my friends had other experiences This is my second time eating here. The food is good, not great. This place has potential. I would try it again.

Very impressive food. The drinks were cheap, too, but not anything amazing. The alcohol content was there, but adornment was not, so from a practical standpoint, they were ideal. Back to the food — instead of having to buy a whole pizza, me and the woman got three different slices of pizza for $ 10.50. That prices out to slightly more per slice than a whole pizza, but this way there is no overeating, no leftovers, and variety. Most importantly, the pizza was great! Had the pepperoni, Hawaiian, and the supreme(can’t recall name) pizzas. Perfectly cooked and delicious ingredients. If I lived near there, I’d make that a place I’d go to routinely.

I was staying in Owensboro on business and happened to go through downtown as I drove in. I noticed a lot of restaurants that looked like they were locally owned smaller places, my favorite. While out for lunch I turned down a side street and found this place. From the outside it is very inviting and once I walked in the door is was equally so. Nice furnishings, clean, and comfortable like the den in your own home. I sat at the bar because I was alone and the seating was open. The staff was nice, inviting and spoke to me quickly. When the waitress come to ask what I would like I explained that I had never been there before and it would take minute. She stopped and went over the menu with me. She was very knowledgeable and kind. I looked and ordered the Spinach, Chicken, Asiago pizza and a Caesar salad. The menu is different daily and about some of the pizzas are only available on a given day. I am very glad I came on a day that offered this one. you order a slice or a whole pie, I ordered the slice. The crust was done to a crisp, but not burnt. The sauce was a white sauce and it worked quite well. The Caesar was quite good. One odd little thing. For such a nice place it struck me odd that the food all came in disposable dishes; disposable plate, cup, silverware, all of it. The salad even came in a to go bowl with a lid. But hey, it was all very good… So shut up and eat, right? If they wanted to take this to 5 stars they would get me a real plate and glass then give me a metal fork and knife. ;-) The price was very good. I got all I got for basically $ 11.75. But the tip had to be good because the service Rocked. Tip: When ordering pizza be sure to note that the pizza comes with white sauce unless the lettering is in red.

Stopped in on a cold December night to grab a bite to eat. The pizza oven had the place warm and cozy. To my surprise a three piece band was playing some great music. The young lady couldn’t have been more than twenty, but sang like an angle. I tried a couple of slices of the Mash Potato, Bacon and Vidalia Onion pizza. Non-conventional yes, but very good and filling. I love this place!

I wanted to love Fetta, but I only like it. I’ve heard rave reviews from friends and this weekend I was in town to visit family so I decided to give it a try it. I love how the downtown is being the place to be. So nice to see all the new things coming up in downtown Owensboro. The building is cute, cute meaning that it’s kind of small. It’s shaped like an old row house. Inside, the décor is nice. Hardwood floors and ornate light figures are throughout. The menu is simple, pizzas by the slice on one side and entrees on the other. Different pizzas are available by the slice on different days. I dined in on a Saturday and had the Smothers Park Meat Special pizza. It had bunch off different meats, pepperoni, sausage, maybe bacon, I cannot remember all the meats. The slices are precook I think because there’s a display when you walk in that has the different slices of pizza that are available. My boyfriend ordered the garlic knots to eat as an entrée because we weren’t that hungry but meeting a friend who was. The knots were undercooked and had a real doughy taste. He also ordered ginger beer sour. He said that it tasted like a little bit of ginger beer and a bunch of watered down lemonade and no amaretto like it said it had. It was a pretty disappointing drink for 6 bucks. The pizza slices we ordered took a little longer than I thought they were going to take, seeing as how they’ve slices of precooked pizza in the display in front. We dinned around 3pm and the restaurant wasn’t overly busy. It took about 15 minutes to get the two slices of Smothers Meat that the table ordered. The taste of the pizza was good. I love just about any pizza, so its not hard to make a pizza that I like. I thought that the meat combination was good, but not great. The crust was a little hard. The pizza reminded me of when you get a pizza and have leftovers and then try to bake it again in the oven and the edges and crust get a little too crispy. I’m not saying the pizza was bad, but for $ 3.50 it wasn’t anything to write home about. I actually think the 3 meat pizza at Sam’s for 1.98 is just as good. Sorry. I would come again to Fetta, I like the location and the atmosphere, but I don’t love the pizza like a lot of the reviews on here. Maybe my first visit wasn’t the best, but I’ll try again when I’m back in town.
