Food was great overlooking the Ohio river. What a nice spot for leisurely breakfast! Skinny omelet was excellent as were the beignets! Also does gift certificates +++ which was a nice way to say thank you to my local hosts. Owensboro has done a nice job with improving the downtown area without impeding on the local residential homes. Please keep it that way… and this restaurant(even though within a hotel) is a true gem for a casual yet upscale meal. Service was attentive.

The service here was nice. It was very quiet for a Saturday night — people are missing out on this gem. Loved the food and especially loved we didn’t have to wait! The ambiance is pleasing. I had the pork quesadilla and my husband had the jambalaya. Both were so very good. Riding the Owensboro Trolley here through Downtown made for a very nice date night.

Common food made gourmet. Everyone in my party had something different and no one was dissappointed. Helpfully staff. Nice bar and scenic view.

I had lunch here with my husband and 2 adult daughters. We all decided to get a different signature dish and share. The food was very good and the service from Emily was wonderful. The only reason I gave this restaurant 4 instead of 5 stars is that the outdoor seating area leaves a lot to be desired. This is a shame to have such prime real estate and not use it to their advantage. Bring on the outdoor space designers!

Not bad for a hotel restaurant. Really small menu, but food was good. Service was decent, but nothing to write home about. We would eat here again, but likely only when staying at the hotel.

I went here for dinner tonight with my husband, our toddler, & my parents. We were given our choice of seating, including the patio area overlooking the river. The staff was very friendly & we enjoyed our meal very much! We ordered the Smothered Chicken, two Cheeseburgers, the Turkey Pesto sandwich, & the kids Grilled Cheese. Everyone was very happy with their food(That rarely happens… Usually SOMEONE is disappointed). Pricing was comparable to TGIFridays or the like. I would have given it 5 stars but the restaurant is in the middle of the hotel lobby. I had hoped it would be a closed off space. Otherwise, a great dining experience! Probably not an ideal date night place unless you sat outside, but good for casual dining.

We went here for lunch on the 4th of July. The food was amazing! Look for the meals on the menu with a broken egg symbol next to them as those are the specialty dishes. We had cinnamon roll french toast, a turkey pesto and brie sandwich, and a café burger(with sundried tomatoes, bacon, caramelized onions, and garlic aioli). All 3 were equally delicious. The drinks were a little slow but there wasn’t a bartender working. Overall, amazing food for a decent price!

Café burger — i thought it was the most unique signature dish on the menu. Its consist of grilled onions, sun dried tomatos, chopped bacon, basil, artian bread, toasted, and nice hefty beef patty made to order. Eventhough its called a burger. It didnt taste like a burger to me. I ordered medium for my patty. It is super juicy, just apply a light pressure on your sandwich and you will see all the juice oozing out of the patty. The onion made it taste sweet, the sun dried tomato made it taste tangy, the bacon add crunch, and the basil gives it a nice aroma. Along with the artian bread it transformed it into a nice sandwich instead of a «burger». I know a burger is a sandwich… but It didnt feel heavy or greasy compared to a traditional burger. The potato fries i did not like so much. Maybe it was over cooked or the ingredients didnt go together. It was just a bit off for me. The sandwich is worth a try. Make sure you like basil before you order. :)

Was really looking forward to our visit. Not starting out as I anticipated my breakfast dish was prepared incorrectly. Manager did stop by to apologize. I just hate watching my husband eat his meal while I wait.

I am a big fan of breakfast and this place was awesome. I had some kind of southwest omelette with chorizo and tortillas. It was so good and the portions were generous. The coffee was strong and the service was friendly and excellent. I will definitely go back to this place. So glad we have this in Kentucky! The only place I had seen this restaurant was in Florida.

Staff is super friendly and polite. It seems like they’ve really trying hard, but they’re just not there yet. Appetizer arrived before drinks. Eggs Benedict was over cooked, not runny. English muffin seemed that it might have been microwaved. Wife insisted that I sent it back, which we did. Table next to us did the same but with a different dish. My dish came back a little better, but we both agreed that the food just tastes plain and lacks quite a bit of flavor. Hopefully they’ll do something with the scenery. There’s not much of an excuse to be open for that amount of time and to have the outside be that neglected.

Food was great fresh and very well prepared… yet the service was one that is very lacking… we came in for Mothers Day and the waiter complained about being called in and he was nonexistent with us. We waited over 10 min to get our drinks and refills were very slow forth coming. We turned a normal 45 min dinner into an hour and a half. If the waiter said he was sorry once it was a hundred. Instead of apologizing why not just do what we are asked. I will tip 20+% normally… yet this time was 5%

The freshly squeezed OJ was amazing! The homemade whip cream was to die for. Prices were reasonable the service was amazing. With a view of the Ohio river to boot. We will be back!
