O’hara’s Restaurant

Great pizza, friendly servers and a comfortable atmosphere. We had the buffalo chicken pizza with white garlic sauce – it’s different from others we’ve had, but very good. No blue cheese and a slight sweetness to the very tasty chunks of chicken. Credit cards aren’t accepted, but personal checks are.

We drove from Syracuse for Owego’s tree lighting and came upon the best place ever!!! The owner and bartender has a great sense of humor!!! We sat at the bar, had a few beers and a fantastic meal. The tree lighting was ok but Ohara’s was definitely worth our drive! Thanks! I would truly recommend O’hara’s. :)

Pleasantly surprised by the interior as it is decorated quite nicely. Food is great. I love the amount of sauce they put the wings (they also have some awesome unique flavors) and the fish fries/​sandwiches are a great choice.

Wow what a hidden gem in Owego. I’m almost ashamed to have lived here my whole life and never been here. The owner greets you as soon as you walk in and is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. We came in on a Wednesday and it happens to be half price pizza night. The white garlic pizza and pepperoni pizza are excellent. We also got honey bbq wings and a salad which were amazing too. I highly recommend checking this place out. I wish they had a little more outside to catch people’s attention because too many people are missing out on this place. It will now be a Wednesday ritual for my family. Also make sure you bring cash seeing how they don’t do credit cards. But no worries they are right next to a bank.

I came here on a Thursday night and was greeted by the owner Tom (I sat at the bar) He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I enjoyed a great piece of swordfish with a nice side salad (homemade italian dressing), rice, and nice warm bread. We chatted the whole time.
He had a limited draft beer selection, but the Yuengling Black and Tan in a frozen pint glass went down really great.
A couple guys came in and enjoyed some wings and french onion soup that looked great. We all sat back and watched the Yankee game. It was a great night in Owego

If you can get past the owner who is the bartender, the limited food is very good. If you are new, set at the tables for good service. On the barstool, you can order food. I would not joke with Tom until you have observed things for a month! They do not accept credit cards.
