Finally decided to give DeVine a try, and could not be more pleased! The food and drinks were fantastic! Sweet and spicy margarita, just WOW! Ordered the cheese board and charcuterie first, and wow! The Moody Blue cheese was incredible. we fought over finishing it. That was a lot of meat and cheese between the two of us, so we only ordered the shrimp to share after, and it was just enough. The sauce the shrimp was in was amazing. Their menu apparently changes daily so we can’t wait to go back and try more! The service was top notch! Two girls pretty much took care of the whole place, excluding the bar, and both checked up on us constantly, Caitlin(how could I not remember her name), and Haley I believe. They were awesome. We will definitely be back for happy hour or their half off bottles of wine on Wednesday!

Wonderful wine bar! Love how they offer happy hour everyday. We had the house Cabernet Sauvignon and the white sangria, both were tasty. The cheese platter they offer was great too! Can’t wait to go back.

The owner contacted me after my latest review and seemed genuinely concerned about my last experience. I revised my rating to 3 stars because he seed very sincere in wanting to address the issues we encountered. I will be returning and truly hope that I can provide a review they can be proud of. Wow, I really had high hopes for Devine Wine. The first time we were here they really had it all together, the second time the service was a bit lacking but the food was still very good. This time they pretty much hit the trifecta of imperfection. The servers were very nice and attentive. But the management seems to think that service pools are better than dedicated servers, the result is you get all of the servers asking if you need anything, and no one takes ownership of the table. For example, the goat cheese fondue was great. But it was spoiled by the fact that they shorted the bread that came with it. The wait staff knew this and as soon as it was placed on the table the server said I’ll get you more bread if you need it. Then every one of the servers came by and asked if we needed more bread. We requested more from all three servers, yet 20 minutes passed before we got our bread. The rest of the dishes were not worthy of being called chef created. The olives with pickled vegetables had a good variety of olives, a few jar style jalapeño slices and a single slice of tomato soaked in the same mixture as the peppers. The chicken flat bread was soggy with too much goat cheese. The rib meat in the poutine is excellent, unfortunately there were too many fries and the gravy was way to salty. For the price I expect better, much better. I usually hold my toungh when I have a negative experience, but In this case I think they need this know.

My husband and I stopped by on Saturday for dinner. We both enjoyed it so much! We started with an appetizer of the garlic shrimp, and boy were they yummy! I had the«carbonara» and my husband had the«pork rib-eye.» WOW! Delicious!!! We finished off with the chocolate cake and cheesecake desserts. Absolutely a perfect ending to a perfect meal! The service was outstanding as well. We are blessed to say that we have dinned at many upscale restaurants since we have been married.(20 yrs. now :) We can truly say that DeVine, it a real treat and you won’t be disappointed! They truly have a wonderful establishment. Oh, and do treat yourselves to their concept«wine tasting card» its lots of fun!

We stopped by their booth at the Taste Of Oviedo. Everyone was very friendly. We had the BLT, which had amazing flavor. It was a grilled Hawaiian roll topped with a sauce, arugula, green tomatoes and two thick pieces of bacon. We liked it so much, we decided to eat dinner there. The menu changes every week or two. We ordered the pouting which was topped with short rib. They make their own fires. This dish was delectable. My friend ordered the Carbonara which was topped with an egg. She said it was delicious. I had the pork belly with grits. It was a little spicy and I prefer my grits a little creamier, but it was good. There were 4 pieces of pork belly. Unfortunately, one of the pieces was all fat. A little disappointed with that, but overall it was very delicious and we are looking forward to our next visit there.

Party of 2 enters at 6 pm on a Friday. First off I notice the ambiance is very warm, there are open tables however we are told there is a 15 min wait. Maybe the other tables were reserved not sure and didn’t ask. The wait time is not a big deal since they have a wine tasting room to keep you occupied. They have several machines with several bottles of wine in each machine. Each bottle is set up with 3 price points: a sip, a taste and a glass. The sips started from about 1.70 a glass, taste from about 3.50 and glasses staring at 7.00. You have to purchase a wine card which you pay a $ 3.00 one time fee(as long as you have your card with you the next time). You decide what amount you put on the card, you can add more as you go. Each bottle has a description and what it pairs best with. Once you sit at a table you can still get up and go to the wine room or you can tell the server and she will get it for you with your card. They also have the option of the house wines(from the bar) at $ 6.00 a glass. Onto the food… we started with a goat cheese fondue. The starter is served with fresh grilled toast. It was amazing. They started it with 4 slices of toast however they pay very close attention to the need for more. We had at least 4 people ask if anyone was bringing more bread. I asked the servers suggestions from the menu, she offered a few plates but strongly suggested a Ramen pork belly dish for the adventurous type. Everything on the menu is made in house from the bread to the pasta. The Ramen was spot on! An explosion of flavors in each bite. Price was a little high at $ 17.00, but worth every penny. I was literally sad when it was gone, even though the serving size was good. I just didn’t want the party in my mouth to stop. My friend ordered the Flatbread(not sure which one), it looked good but had NOTHING on the Ramen. I think the menu changes regularly and it is not very big, but God please let them keep the Ramen. For dessert I opted for the liquid calories. It was time to switch to the full liquor bar for a signature cocktail, the Strawberry smash. Oh so good, better than the wine. I love vodka, strawberries and basil. What’s not to love? I hope this place survives as it is an odd location for this type bar. Fun for just drinks, but the food is highly recommended. Enjoy the live music while you sit, chat and fill your belly up with good food.

I’ve been to DeVine twice. This is a gem of a restaurant in Oviedo. The ambiance of this restaurant is nothing like you’d expect to find of a spot in a plaza… it is upscale and on trend — great for a date or night with friends. The food is great — menu is a little limited but is updated regularly. On the 1st visit, some of the food had to be sent back due to being slightly overcooked; but they remedied the issue very quickly. The second time I visited, the food was perfect… just slow to come out. Their specialty drinks are a MUST try — they infuse their liquors with fresh fruits/herbs/etc. and are spectacular! Their house cabernet and pinot noir were very inexpensive and delicious.

The ambience is good but the services is very slow. Don’t get me wrong, everyone is very nice. I just don’t want to spend my entire nite here. I order the mac and cheese, the mussels and the pork rib eye plate. The Mac and cheese is very good, the mussels is mediocre but the rib eye was horrible. It was burnt and bitter. I usually never sent my food back but this time I had to do it. I don’t think I would come here again. Sad to say that. I am a big supporter of non chain type restaurant. The server was a sweet heart tho

I think this may be the best restaurant on the east side of Orlando. I took a large party there for a friend’s birthday, and they did a fantastic job serving us(we were a very large party, on a Friday night.) The food was just amazing. I went back for Sunday brunch here lately, and the food was just as delicious. The menu changes daily, so each visit means trying something new. I do have a food allergy, and the staff was happy to figure out what items I could safely eat with(or without) modifications. Their red sangria is absolutely amazing — it does pack a bit of a punch, and you’ll want more than one, so it’s probably best to have a DD for your party! Parking is easy, it’s toward the end of a Publix shopping center so there’s plenty of parking lot spaces in front of it. I did find the live music a bit deafening, but that’s the only complaint I can think of about it. They don’t always have live music, so it isn’t always an issue anyway.

I have lived in the subdivision behind the plaza this lovely restaurant for 23 years. We have been starved for non chain nice trendy places that are so popular in other parts of Orlando. I was shocked that DeVine has been near the Publix I shop at twice a week for over a year. To think I missed a year of enjoying this lovely place! This is a great example of a UCF graduate taking care of their own. Make sure to get there in time for happy hour as you can’t miss out on $ 3 wine! We enjoyed some of the appetizers and main courses. All quite fresh and delicious. Service was nice. Everyone that works there is very customer oriented. Overall a complete delight! I wish DeVine lots of success and plan to be a faithful customer. Thank you for bringing just the kind of place so sorely missing!

DeVine is truly divine! The carbonara pasta was a dream come true! Though when it first came out, I almost laughed because the pasta came out shaped as a cylinder in the middle of the dish. No worries though, as it was just enough pasta to make me feel full without the regret. Their sangria is AMAZING. I ordered by the glass as a pitcher isn’t really any more than 4 glasses anyway. They have a good selection of craft cocktails. Good ambiance. It’s classy without being stuffy. A good date restaurant or girls night restaurant. What’s most impressive is the menu changes every day. I visited because of a review about a goat entrée but the carbonara really took my breath away. The care and quality of the ingredients is obvious. Will be back. P. S. There is a private room upstairs for parties, and even though there’s a live musician upstairs, it’s a loft style restaurant so the ground floor gets to listen to the music as well.

We came from Miami for my cousins graduation and stopped here for lunch. What an amazing experience. We left really happy, the service was A+, nice ambiance, delicious sangria! And we ordered the goat(first time eating goat! Not Gamie as I expected, very delicious) the sroom and bacon flatbread was amazing! Huge chunks of pancetta. The carbonara seems like a small portion but so filling, very tasty! All and all a very nice experience in Orlando. In Miami a place like this would be much more $$$. Not only that they topped it off with a complimentary dessert to congratulate my cousin!!! :) Really recommend it!

Don’t be fooled by the strip mall location… DeVine is divine! A friend told me about this place and suggested we meet up here one evening. I was a bit skeptical when I pulled into the parking lot, but as soon as I walked through the front doors, I was impressed. The décor is dark and intimate, with comfortable high-top tables, booths and an inviting bar. There’s also an area with enomatic wine dispensers(like at The Wine Room), so you can sample to your heart’s content. My friend and I just ordered glasses of wine and a bowl of olives & almonds. I was shocked at how much I liked such a simple dish! The almonds were hot and very salty… a nice accompaniment to the red wine. Other highlights: 1) The Bathroom: It was clean and stylish. I spent more time in there than I normally would because I was admiring the cute mirrors and signage. 2) The Service: We were well-attended to all evening, and our server was cute and bubbly(without being overly chatty). 3) THEWATER: Wow! They brought us a bottle of rosemary-infused water, which was surprisingly awesome. Apparently they offer a really nice Happy Hour from 3(or maybe 4) until 6PM. An extra reason to swing by if you happen to be in the Oviedo area.

DeVine is a nice addition to Oviedo and brings wine, craft cocktails, and rustic-inspired(is that a thing?) food to an area where this is lacking. Note, I did not try any menu items(though several looked tasty), so this review is based off the service, atmosphere, and drinks. A friend suggested we meet here to enjoy some drinks while catching up, so I made my way over and was pleasantly surprised that it was Martini Monday, so the martinis were half-off. I can’t remember which drinks I had specifically, but the first was recommended as the ‘tangiest’ and the second the lightest and most refreshing. While both the martinis had good backbones(I had both with gin), I found them to be cloyingly sweet. Good flavors but way too much simple in there for me. The atmosphere is nice with lots of wood and richer tones, and there’s a banquette against the wall. The loft area is a unique idea that brings some personality and adds space. The service was very friendly, smiley, and perky, to the point that I wanted to tell people to calm down and stop smiling so widely. Overall, I think DeVine is a great addition for Oviedo, but I wouldn’t return again unless a friend insisted.

The Mac & Cheese is everything! I’ve been here twice now and enjoyed my experience both times. They have Martini Mondays were the martinis are half price! They’ve got some options to pick from. They obviously have wine you can get — similar to the wine bar. I tried a few things but the mac & cheese is my fave! We had Bread Trio, the Poutine and one of the flat breads. I had an amazing pie for dessert.

Tucked in the Alafaya Woods Publix shopping center this place is a gem for Oviedo. A local seasonal menu and affordable drink prices warrants the 5 stars. DeVine has that casual vibe with a touch of class. If you are wine drinker and wish to use the dispenser you buy your DeVine card for a one time $ 3 charge and load it up with $$. Then enjoy an extensive selection from whites to reds with 3 price points. A sip, ½ glass, and full glass will make for a great night. I have yet to have a bad meal. If ever in Oviedo pop inside to be pleasantly surprised from the owners checking up on each guest’s experience to the super friendly attentive staff.

I am so happy we stumbled upon this place. In the heart of the city of Oviedo, there lies this true jewel. They have a variety of wine you can try with a one card that is only $ 3, and you add how much money you would like to add. It is tapa style for food. Please try the macaroni and cheese, it will truly melt in your mouth!!! The caprese salad as well as the steak was very tasty. It is a smaller place, has live music, but the Customer service is superior. Even the manager walks around, and is very involved and informative. You can tell their goal is to make sure you leave with a smile. Absolutely love this place.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant! I live in the Oviedo area and usually have to drive 30 minutes to Winter Park(Park Ave) to find high quality restaurants. Ever since Devine opened, I can stay local! I have been there three times in the past month and have enjoyed every single thing I’ve tried. They serve their plates«tapas» style, which is fun! The beet salad is my personal favorite(such a unique taste). They also have a very cheap happy hour — their house pinot noir is delightful. Each time I have dined, the staff has been extremely friendly and one of the owners has stopped by to ask how we were enjoying our meals. I would 100% recommend this new restaurant to anyone curious to try it.
