Breakfast Club of Oviedo

Standard breakfast fare at a decent price — you can get the Breakfast Club Special for less than $ 7 and that’s tough to beat anywhere, never mind just Oviedo. The Club is housed in a small plaza on Alafaya Trail next door to a 7 – 11. My point is the locale doesn’t really stand out and, yet, The Club was very busy. Friendly customer service made breakfast with my family that much more enjoyable. But, to date, I have yet to find a better breakfast than WH.

I have to start by saying, they have the best coffee I’ve ever had at a restaurant! That was a great way to start our visit for me! Our server was great and the portions were huge at a very reasonable price! It was typical American diner food done right! Check it out!

Worst breakfast ever! On a Thursday morning at 7:30 with only 3 tables and service was still horrible. Ordered eggs Benedict that came out with a hard cooked egg on top. Ordered a skillet with over medium eggs and again not any yolk comes out. So we naturally ask for the eggs we ordered and the waitress acknowledged they were both over cooked and would it be ok if she just brought us 2 new eggs instead of taking our plate back. Sure no problem… The over medium eggs came out ok but the eggs Benedict order was delivered back to us in a little white cup that still had water in it and the eggs looked they just cracked them in the dish. So disappointing, next time I will go to KeKe’s! Oh and the best part was we could hear the cook arguing with the waitress about why he felt the 1^st eggs should have been fine but never once came out of the kitchen to actually look at the eggs. Take some pride in your cooking!!!

This is my 3^rd time visiting the breakfast club and today they were extremely busy. The orange juice tasted different today, it wasn’t as good as usual. It tasted like it was a frozen can of orange juice with water added after. The food was good like usual. But the service wasn’t that great, but it’s because they were extremely busy. But I believe in 2^nd chances. I recommend getting the hungry man but only if you’re extremely hungry. Every time I go I share it because it is so much food! They give you the option of pancakes or French toast. They also give you 2 strips of bacon, a sausage patty and a sausage link. You also get the option of grits, hash browns or house potatoes. My brother is a VERY picky eater and he LOVED it. He said, «I want to go back again!»

The best price for a large amount of food. Been eating here for 3 years and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Really love this place and the people and of course the wide variety of awesome food

The food is not prepared well here. I ordered hash browns, and they appeared to be deep fried… in old that was not fresh. My eggs were overcooked. I wasn’t pleased with the breakfast club and won’t return.

The food was good, however the service was awful. Our waitress messed up our order and then tried to overcharge me for food that I didn’t order. We waited 15 minutes for glasses of water and they weren’t refilled the entire time we were there. If you want decent food and can deal with mediocre and carefree service, then this is the place for you.

A cool spot for breakfast. Mugs with local advertisement. Very attentive service. Platters are priced very inexpensive. Good French toast and they have a good variety of things. The coffee could have been better tasting. But overall nice spot.

Every experience seems to be very varied, but my general consensus is that I’d rather make my own breakfast food at home. The only reason I go here is because my dad is a fan of it, but I don’t see the charm. Pretty cheap, quality of food varies, but ambiance and service is almost always very deterrent. I always get a dirty vibe from the place and everything seems to be very uncoordinated.

awful service and dont get brenda!!! Food is halfway decent sometimes but don’t go if you’re looking for a quick breakfast cause ours lasted two hours… couldn’t get the bill right to save her life and was so awkward that we felt uncomfortable. Felt bad cause she was trying but just no. Won’t be coming back ever again, I’d rather cook my eggs on the sidewalk.

The only thing that keeps me coming back are the home fries (they’re quite scrumptious). We had a couple of mishaps with our experience at Breakfast club. To be begin with, while were seated and given menus the waiter asked us to switch to a table that hadn’t been cleared from the previous customers in order to seat a larger group. To me this was completely unprofessional as we were in the middle of our dining process. Once we were settled and our new table had been cleaned, the service became a little better. However, if you’re the type of person that enjoys more than one cup of coffee then this isn’t the place for you. I had finished my coffee and it was never refilled. Also, our check was given to us practically with our meal. The bus boy had asked us to clear our table of full plates after about 15 minutes of eating. Not a terrible place but definitely sinks under pressure. Not sure that I’ll ever go back.

I’m being generous with the third star because the home fries are the best I’ve had. They brought us to a dirty table after a 15 minute wait. We watched them bring several other tables to dirty tables. The first server we had was hands down the worst I’ve ever had. Her attitude was TERRIBLE. She looked at like like we were crazy when we asked if they had iced coffee. Her response was «I have coffee & ice.» When the other guests at my table said «never mind I will have water» she said «coffee okay» & brought them coffee anyway. A new server came & took over & was much better. If I had to deal with the other girl all meal I probably would never have come back. Throughout the meal the girl we had before made rounds filling everyone’s coffee and skipped me several times. It was pretty obvious that she was doing it on purpose.
They’ve got a lot to work on service but the food is alright when you need a last minute breakfast place. Our server even told us «just ask for someone other than Courtney next time you come in»… Oh. Okay thanks. Soooo confused what is happening in this place.

Can’t review them for their food but I can for their dishonesty with a recent Groupon. Purchased a Dinner for two with complimentary beer/​wine. Valid after 3pm.
Well, they CLOSE AT 3pm. Nor do I plan on having dinner for breakfast or lunch and most definitely not beer or wine with my coffee.
Thanks to groupon for refunding me on this dishonest deal.

I just had to share about this horrible woman who came in while we were eating! The young girl serving was so nice and came by several times to check on her tables. This woman and her family were very rude, had words with the owner and actually called him the N word and told him to go back to his own country. WOW is all I can say, the staff handled it well and all the tables were apologizing for her outburst!
We have eaten here weekly for ages, I have been a cook most of my life… I would know bad food!!! I’m still in shock at the cursing spewing from her mouth with her kids in tow!!!
I hope if you’re ever in the Oviedo area you will stop by and eat. The prices are low, the food plentiful, and the staff is as nice as can be!
If you are that woman and you read this, I do pray you find Jesus! He is the only one who can take away your misery!

Good food — great value — and Mimosa’s! Great staff. Not fancy or pretentious — just plain good! Our favorite Breakfast spot in Oviedo.

Pros:
–Food was decent.
–Ordered an Omelette differently than menu provided, prepared correctly.
–Order taken quickly.
Cons:
–Waited ten minutes inside to be acknowledged by staff.
–Waited approximately 40 minutes for two simple orders.
–Waitress handled trash bag then brought food out to us without washing hands. No condiments offered, no napkins.
Overall, bad experience and we’ll never be here again. Kitchen staff looked like they were doing their part though.

I wish I could review the food at this establishment, but we never got that far. We walked in, waited for 10 minutes and no one greeted us nor even recognized us. We then went to the counter and asked where we should sit. The dude seemed bothered that we were even talking to him and said anywhere there is a open table. We told him that we needed a high chair too and a patron (not a restaurant employee) got the high chair for us. Dude was really nice.
We sat there for another 20 minutes with no one even recognizing us with a screaming child. We got up and left.
Also, everything was sticky. I don’t mean just the table, the jellys and butters were also really sticky and gross. We won’t be going back.

Good price for breakfast food. The décor is simple and feels like a home. We were seated quickly.
My husband ordered the country fried steak with gravy on the side. well, they forgot about on the side part and when the meal came out, it looked like a bowl of brown gravy. It was definitely not what we expected it to be. There was so much gravy that you can’t taste the «fried» in the steak since it turned soggy. It tasted like a microwave meal. Definitely do not recommend.
My meal came out good. I just ordered an omelet with a side of french toast and home fries. They do have really good home fries. They were crisp and seasoned well. My french toast was also cooked well. I don’t really think you can messed up on that.
Our server was nice. I didn’t have a problem with him. I did have to remind him to get our drinks but it was no big deal.

Good little breakfast joint. Cheaper than your typically breakfast places like iHop but still has a great variety. Food is pretty decent and atmosphere is down home and inviting.

Very slow service. If you are not in a hurry, please come and have breakfast but don’t expect to eat and go. No sense of urgency.
