Huge store in Oak Park! You can be 16, 37, 44 or forever 21 to shop here and you will always find something! Selection is crazy. Price points are crazy low as well. Return policy is always stated upfront at the register for every single customer. No cash back, only exchanges of Forever 21 back on a gift card. The quality of some stuff is pretty lackluster, but hey, that’s why it’s $ 1.99 so you get what you pay for. Being of the«way over 21» set, it’s not typically where I shop at all, but when shopping with my teen, I usually end up finding something too.

I am not 21(even in my dreams of being forever young), but I am a fashion-conscious professional woman. Occasionally, this place has something that doesn’t look ridiculously young on me, and hey, if I can spend $ 20 for a cute blouse for work, then I’m gonna bypass Banana and JCrew and Nordy’s for the cheaper option. Today, I found a very Free People-looking blouse for $ 20. Yay! Of course, I had to pour through racks and racks of jammed in and poorly-hung flimsy stuff to find the prize. Oh, and listening to the shrill teen voices as they yapped on their phones and laughed with their friends was nearly unbearable, but boy did I get a bargain! I think the majority of the staff here takes depressants, as they never smile or have any personality. I far prefer the one at The Legends, but this is down the street. I will continue to drop by every few months to see what I find. My teen daughter loves it.

Wow, this is big. I remember the first time coming to the Oak Park Mall, I asked if there was a Zara or H &M anywhere in the area. But the answer was followed with a big question mark on the face of the woman behind the information desk. So I took this same question to a very trendy salesperson at Banana Republic, who reported that a H & M was supposed to open somewhere, but they pulled out, thus leaving Kansas out of luck with fashionable, chic, cheap clothing. Until, I discovered a Forever 21 upstairs. Well, its not called Forever 21, but XXI Forever – a Forever concept store I was told… umm…I’m not sure either… But it was massive! Trendy clothes galore, and just like a real Forever, there is never your size on the rack and never a salesperson anywhere near you are standing. Luckily, there are loads and loads of clothes racks and tables to have you not care too much. It wasn’t as cheap as other Forever’s(maybe that’s the concept?), but still moderate enough to spend a bunch and get a bunch.
