They gave my son a nice haircut. That’s the only nice thing I have to say. First of all, they have a new location. This is information that would have been helpful to know when I called in to make my appointment… with me being a new customer… and their business having recently relocated… and even if neither of those things were true. But once you track down the current location(Hint: It’s not the one listed here on Unilocal!), good luck finding this place. It’s in one of those shopping centers that your GPS has no idea how to navigate and after you’ve accidentally stumbled across the right general area, you’ve gone past it because the store front inexplicably faces a direction that can only be seen driving one way down the road. I had to call for some help. They begrudgingly gave it to me. At the door, we were invitingly greeted by a «CLOSED» sign and a warning that appointments are forfeited after ten minutes. We just made it! The two women inside seemed to have been holding out hope for us to miss that window. One of the women told us to pick a seat from the well-worn faux car chairs. I apologized for being late and joked about how hard it was to find this place. Utter silence. Fine, whatever. Then we had an oddly tense(given that it was about a one-year-old’s haircut) brief discussion about how short I wanted my son’s hair. I’m fairly certain she never uttered another word. Aside from carelessly spraying my kid in the face and offering nothing to calm his fussy reaction(I dug a sucker out of my purse. I later noticed a bowl of suckers in the store, not that we were offered.), I was fine with the haircut. It looked good, she took her time, and I’d tell you her name, but she never introduced herself. Now I don’t need someone to be chatty or to treat my child like a precious snowflake, but a semblance of a personality in a CHILDREN’S HAIRSALON(whose entire schtick is that it’s a fun, friendly, inviting place for kids) sure wouldn’t hurt! Why would the most miserable, surly people on earth even want to work at a place like this? I paid around $ 18 for the cut, which is a bit overpriced for a one-year-old boy’s haircut. I understand that you’re paying for the experience at a place like this, but I don’t think the experience is supposed to be «You are an inconvenience to me and my plan to close up and go home early.» I left a good half hour before their listed closing time, *really* wanting to inconspicuously flip the sign to «open» on my way out. I won’t be coming back.

The girls that work here are amazing!!! The new location is perfect! We brought our 3 year old twins in(who are difficult) and the girls made sure they were comfortable the whole time and patient when our boys were having melt downs and talking them through it! It was our first time here and we will definitely be coming back!!! Best place in town!

Came here to get my son’s haircut. Great spot. Ashley did a great job and was able to manage my 2 ½ year old. There are some days when I can’t even say that for myself. :) Price was reasonable…$ 17 plus tip… and yes you should tip. Half the price of the spot in San Jose. Ugh. Call for an appointment. We went walk in on a Saturday and had to come back later in the day.
