Starbucks

This is by far the best Starbucks I have been to in years. Keep up the good work and customer service is great. I will make an effort to go out of my way to come to this Starbucks. A very active location that seems to be buzzing with people all looking to relax and it’s a great place to people watch. Check it out it is worth your time. My only complaint is that they close too early.

This is my number one Starbucks location since they renovated. The tables are bigger and there are plenty of outlets (*key* for studying). They’re speedy on their mobile orders too.

I know people like to say all Starbucks are the same, but it’s simply not true. This is the best location in the KC area! Their team are not only speedy and helpful, but super friendly and congenial. The location is fairly busy, but they are great about keeping up. I like this place so much I don’t even mind that there’s no drive-​thru.
I highly recommend becoming a regular.

This is a high-​traffic location but the morning crew is great.

WORST starbucks ever. It has to be the slowest place I’ve ever been to in my life. The people are nice and friendly, but the store is cramped, and the service sucks sucks sucks. I mean seriously slow. I’m pretty sure they still get my drink right everytime, but I’m so annoyed at the wait that I can’t remember. Plan 10 extra minutes into your daily trip if going here.

This is my favorite Starbucks. When I was studying for my Level 3 CFA exam, I came here pretty much every day. I would sometimes stay for 8 – 10 hours at a time, and cram knowledge into my brain like a New Yorker cramming into a subway. Not only were the majority of staff here very kind and accommodating, they also asked me what I was studying for and regularly checked to see how it was going. They refilled my refills dutifully, even when they had every right to be annoyed that I was still there. You can say what you want about a chain vs. local coffee place, but I’m pretty sure a local place wouldn’t have filled my trenta iced coffees 5x a day at no extra charge. That’s awesome!
Bruce is my favorite worker here. He is different from the typical Starbucks employee in that he has his own style and flavor and he makes a helluva drink. He also has a good eye for what foods go well with which drink, and isn’t afraid to say when a combo should be avoided. Thanks for all the great drinks! This is my fave coffee place south of downtown, and it isn’t even a fair fight.

I want to live in this Starbucks, not only to get obese on its awesome bakery goods but so I can be surrounded by its awesome staff all the time. I’ve been to a ton of Starbucks, but NOWHERE have I had as many top notch experiences as I have at this location. The staff is SUPER friendly and outgoing… you can’t help but be in a great mood around them, and their drinks are always made perfectly. Their baristas always love to chat with customers, and make us feel like we’ve made their day just by buying their coffee. I LOVE it!

I always love Starbucks, but this location seems a little crazy (in a bad way) in the mornings on my way into work and has made me late to work several times. My order is pretty easy because I just like plain ol’ dark coffee. Twice they have been «out» of the dark roast and said it would be a few minutes for them to brew more, then I usually opt for a different blend. However this week, all three blends were out and they needed to brew three at once. I waited for 15 minutes and told them I would take whatever blend was ready first. The girl brewing the coffee was visibily flustered by the line of cups waiting for coffee and seemed really stressed. I try to avoid this location at all costs.
On a positive note, the people that work there are friendly.

You can tell when I get a gift card to Starbucks because my check-​ins are frequent.
This location is super convienant since it’s a block or so from my work. Another plus, it’s not crowded between 6:30am & 6:45am when I usually stop by.
My order isn’t difficult and is usually the same. Tall dark roast of the day and sometimes a cranberry /​orange scone. Even though I don’t order a speciality drink, the baristas are always really friendly.

Good seating inside and out. Try to avoid the pre-​work rush with the Sprint people clamoring to get to work and suffer through office coffee. But at the same time, if you’ve been looking for Sally from vendor management, this might be a good stake out place.
Usually crazy busy from 7:30 — 8:30 or so.
Baristas are very good with all their practice. Parking’s a bit rough at the rush.

I stopped in here, cause I had a few minutes from the time I ordered my Rosati’s pizza, to the time I was to pick it up. Immediately when walking in, I felt the neighborhood atmosphere, and it’s affect was illuminating throughout the coffee shop.
The barrista was very friendly, asked me about my weekend, if I did anything fun. I ordered, and fixed my order. I sat down, and watched the customers. One by one, she knew the customers, and if she didn’t she talked with them, and got to know them, just like she did me. I had 3 customers ask me about the Chiefs score (I had on my jersey, it was a Chiefs game Sunday). I ordered pumpkin bread and a salted caramel latte. Both were very good. I felt very comfortable, almost as if I was in a nicer neighborhood than that that I live in.
This Starbucks is in the center of Corporate Woods, which is an area I’ve always liked. I don’t get out there much. This is a nice little place.

I usually find myself in here as I wait for my table at First Watch. I haven’t experienced as great a treatment as Tiger has, but it’s friendly enough. Simple enough to get my beverage of choice before my good eats.
