Stayed here for a KC/MO trip. Good access to the highways and located centrally to my destinations in Leavenworth, Lawrence, DTKC, and Independence. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. King room with sofa, mini-refrigerator, microwave oven, and complimentary parking & Wifi. Good amount of outlets for my electronics. The room was a little small compared to other Marriott extended stay hotels and the walls were on the thin side, but adequate for my needs. I would stay here again when my travels take me back to Kansas City. Will repeat and recommend!

Hard to find a room that will allow 5 people, even with young kids. They want you to end up with another room which is just not doable. Springhill Suites has 2 queens plus a queen sofa sleeper which was great. It is an older property that has been redone nicely. The pool is a little small as is the lobby for breakfast. But the staff was very nice, housekeeping did a great job. I would stay here again.

I stayed in two Springhills during my KC/MO travels and much preferred this location to the one in STL. My room appeared to be recently refreshed, and the exterior and interior common areas are very well maintained. Things I especially appreciated: outlets! There were ample outlets near the bed and at the desk so getting work done was easy. Wifi worked pretty well also, after a bit of trouble with the initial connection. Rooms are quite large with a separate sitting area and kitchenette — FYI, you won’t be able to see the TV from the bed if that matters to you(I didn’t care). My bathroom was above average, cleanliness-wise. This location has the standard amenities: small indoor pool, small workout room, free wifi, free(decent) breakfast. A plus is that there is a fair amount of restaurants and retail nearby. Some is walking distance, but a car will help. I don’t believe the hotel has a shuttle. The staff is absolutely great — genuinely friendly and helpful. I’d happily stay here again.

This Springhill Suites is okay. A decent sized room a tiny kitchenette with a minifridge, mini microwave, and oven. The room size is fairly spacious. However, I don’t like the layout of the room. The desk looks into the wall so you can’t see the television. I like to do some work at the desk while watching the television. There’s no way to see the tv from the desk. The tv is half in the room with the bed and the other half with the 4 person sofa. Though they do have a little table at the sofa(kind of like a tv tray but much sturdier, but small nonetheless. They have a Paul Mitchell toiletries, a toilet that has a super powerful flush, and plenty of water pressure in the shower. By the way, they also have free breakfast in the morning.

Location was under construction for a remodel. We received a newly remodeled room and it was very modern and had bright colors with clean lines all over the room. There was a small inconvenience regarding the construction but the staff made up for it tenfold. They were friendly, very helpful(I forgot my razor) and welcoming. My whole extended family was meeting there for a funeral and they made us feel like the lobby was our living room. Great experience.

As far as Marriott properties goes this one was disappointing. They just started the process of changing out the rooms and warn the guests of such but they also say that they won’t start until 8 or 9 am. Well at 5:00 am it sounded like elephants were dragging two ton boulders across the floor above me. So after a pathetic night of rest due to the noise that wasn’t supposed to exist I go into the bathroom and there is water dripping out of the light fixture in the ceiling. There was some kind of spray all over the full length mirror that looked like it wasn’t wiped off for some time. I braved the shower in hopes that I wouldn’t be electrocuted and since I am writing this you should assume I made it out safely. When I was checking out I was going to inform he front desk of the situation but after standing at the desk for several minutes with no attendant I took off to the office without saying anything because I had appointments to keep. DONOTSTAYATTHISFACILITYUNTILTHEYFINISHTHECONSTRUCTION and even then I am only hoping they remedy the issues. This was, by far, the most disappointed I have ever been with a Marriott property.

Reservations don’t mean much to the front desk, even if you are a Gold member. I made reservations five months in advance of Thanksgiving. I made a request for connecting rooms, as we have small children. I called them several times to confirm the CONNECTING rooms, the last time two days before our scheduled arrival. When we checked in, we did not get the connecting room. The front desk did have adjoining rooms, but we did not want to have the kids go out into the hall if they needed us during the night. I asked the manger to get us the rooms we reserved, but she told us the hotel was sold out due to a softball tournament. Don’t trust them to uphold a promised reservation.

I stayed here for a week on business and picked it randomly. Very reasonable rate and had a decent gym and nice indoor pool. The room was very clean and pretty big with HDTV Flat-screens in living room and bedroom. Staff were very friendly and attentive to any needs you may have. Typical complimentary breakfast ended up being better then other hotels I have been too lately. My personal opinion is that if I can stay at a hotel for a week and have zero complaints then you are doing a good job.

I stayed here over the weekend while visiting a friend in the area, and I was quite pleased with the hotel. It was reasonably cheap, had an indoor pool and hot tub(the pool was tiny, but we were the only ones in it so it was all good). The room was pretty big, and had a mini fridge and coffee maker in it. The complimentary breakfast was better than the normal continental breakfast you get in hotels. There was some hot food. There were apples, oranges, coffee, and hot chocolate available for guests all day and night which I thought was a nice extra touch. All of the front staff were friendly and accommodating. If I’m in the area again, I would be happy to stay here again.
