Sears has changed. I have purchased many appliances here in the past. This time, though lower prices were available elsewhere, I chose them for a washer/​dryer since installation was important to me. I purchased every installation extra including hoses, dryer vent, steam line and new power cords. After they left tracking dirt and mud on the carpeted stairs, I noticed that only the new hoses were installed and several connections were open or loose on the back. The paperwork left behind states that the warranty in invalid without a new dryer vent. I called asking for the supervisor to call but no joy. Now waiting for a reschedule when I will again take time off to meet them here. So I paid extra and got a shoddy installation to boot. Never again.
