We’re busy. We need food. We are trying to move out of a house. We don’t want to go to a restaurant. We’d like to just crash. How about a reuben? Well, not a GOOD reuben, just something to fill your tummy and get you through the evening, another night, and then another day of trying to sell, empty, and move from a house you’ve lived in like forever. Yep — we’ve been here like 10 times in 45 days. It works. It is helping us get through the struggle. Still, overall it’s pretty average.

iViva Manuel! Great, relatively healthy option for quick lunch in the area. This location stands out for cleanliness, food quality and prompt service. One of the managers, Manuel is always busy tending to customers and keeping quality top notch. These guys got lucky finding this leader. He and this team consistently deliver tasty food with friendly smiles and helpful attitudes! See you next week

I am so upset with this place. I’ve been here many times before in the last 15 or so years but recently had a terrible experience. I was having my siblings over for new years eve and my car was in the shop, so I catered in Schlotzsky’s for the occasion. I got a giant turkey cobb salad(serves up to 8) and a galon of the the tomato soup and some raspberry tea. The soup was fine and the tea was drinkable but the salad was picked at and eventually thrown in to the trash because it had a funky taste and the«turkey» was a grey hue and was more like heavily processed bologna and the eggs… I swear tasted like they were not eggs. The thing is, I didn’t even call to complain. Corporate reached out to me(im guessing because i paid over $ 80 for my order) to see how my experience was and so I was honest with them, I even mentioned the service was great and timely and the delivery gal was super sweet, just the salad left something to be desired. So corporate told me they’d have the restaurant contact me and eventually they did. I spoke with the manager and he apologized and told me he would be sending me a gift card for my troubles. I thought that was awesome and I would have stayed a patron… but I never received the gift card in the mail. Don’t tell me you’re going to do something if you have no intention of doing it… that’s terrible business practice! In the future I’ll probably dissuade anyone who mentions plans to go here.

Regular customer who had an issue that couldn’t be resolved through management. Really disappointed by this branch and expected them to care about fixing their constant mistakes. I had to have a habit of checking my order every time before I left because this is the only place that never gets anything right. Lost a customer, recommend you don’t get attached cause this one will probably close like the other ones. Needs better management.

Well, I have to admit that I really enjoy a Schlotzskys sammie about every 6 months or so. This location was clean, the food was as good as this chain can get, and the service was quite spectacular! By the way, I came in with a coupon sheet that I had got from the KC Star and with the use of the coupons I was able to get two pizzas two large original sandwiches and two large Cinnabons for roughly 26 $! That is a pretty damn good deal at the end of the day! Too far from where I live to go back much though…

There is just something special about Schlotzsky’s Ruben sandwich. It is Yummy! Each time I’ve treated myself to this luscious sandwich it’s been truly enjoyable. Somehow I can’t get past the Ruben to order other menu selections because I’ve only ever had this sandwich. My friends like many of the other sandwiches or salads, but for me(and this is odd) it’s the Ruben. I’ve been eating Schlotzsky’s Ruben’s since I had my first one in Atlanta, GA in 1996. A smile is on my face as I consider how much I liked the one I had today.

Love this deli. The service is fast and friendly. The food is super delicious! I’m so happy they’ve joined the gluten-free revolution and that the buns are moist inside and crisp on the outside. I’m in love with the Pastrami & Swiss. My husband’s first time eating here and now he’s a fan too!

This place is my guilty pleasure and I’m not ashamed to admit that. I LOVE their sandwiches. I used to work at a schlotzsky’s(not in KC) in high school, so I think part of my obsession with this place is driven by nostalgia… but I also think they have darn good sandwiches! My current favorite is the fiesta chicken, which comes on toasted jalapeño cheese bread and what I believe is chipotle mayo. It is toasty, cheesy, has a bit of a kick to it, but overall it just hits the spot for me. I also like the Original and the Albuquerque turkey. In addition to sandwiches, they also have pizza and I think a few pasta dishes as well. They probably are a little overpriced but this honestly is not an issue to me as I’m gonna eat here no matter what. My only complaint is there used to be more locations in the KC area and for whatever reason, this seems to be the only around any more.

My family has probably given a good chunk of our savings over the years to eat here, and we are never disappointed. Fast service, consistently good food for the price, and we have never had a problem with the staff. The drive through is a great touch, I think, and the place is always clean. My go-to is the veggie pizza with some of the great Louisiana sauce and will continue to be my place of fast food for a long time.

Really? You can’t figure out how to «custom order» a sandwich? I spent 15 minutes trying to order a corned beef on rye, swiss cheese and mustard. Pretty simple, or so it sounds. 15 minutes later, I am still trying to explain i do NOT want a Reuben, I want a corned beef and swiss on rye, mustard only. They still couldn’t get it straight. My bill was over $ 25, because I added a cinnamon roll for breakfast to share and a tea(premix tea is nasty). I did complain to the corporate offices, was told I would be contacted by the franchisee, and indeed, I received a «form letter» saying they were sorry. That’s it, nor more, no less. Just«sorry». It is arrogant to think your sandwich is better than Jason’s Deli around the corner for ¼ the price, or D’Bronx, or any number of other eating choices in the area. Of course the fact that no one was in the restaurant at 7 in the evening was nice, like having a private dining establishment where I can spend $ 25 to be abused, probably cheaper than a dominatrix, if you are into that sort of thing. The sandwich, while decent, was not much more than Buddig Corned Beef, on top of a pre-made dough roll thawed and cooked that morning. At least that was the texture and taste, but then again, by the time I got it, nearly 30 minutes had lapsed and I still got the wrong sandwich. It had Thousand Island dressing, but I suppose it is difficult to tell Orange Thousand Island dressing from yellow mustard, I think yellow and orange are close in the color spectrum and if you are color blind it may be hard to tell the difference, unless you notice the chunks of relish in Thousand Island, but with an empty restaurant, it was probably too busy to tell. What do I know? Anyway, I’d advise to stay away. At one point I really liked this place, give it 5 stars, but that was a while ago, and times change. It now is a pathetic shell of its former glory, now it is more of a glory hole… or just a hole. Save money, eat at Jason’s a block away, or dive the 2 miles to D’Bronx and get real deli food, not pre-weighed, pre-packaged mediocrity.

Great food, good prices Guac is delicious on the sandwiches. Downfall is bread is usually hard(as with every location) and if you custom order I’d suggest you double check your order before you leave. Definitely will be back

My sandwich was awful. Great if you like nasty food. Beware though. Large is over twice the price of a medium, and not written on the board or menu. Pretty much a rip off. I’ll go to a roach infested mexican restaurant if I want fire-butt, thanks!

The Original is the only sandwich I know of that is any good. The little pizzas are generously topped and tasty. The problem is that most of the menu, especially the sandwiches, lack pizzazz and punch. They are flat. There is no zing of acidity to balance the palate. This is a deli for crying out loud! Some vinegarette or a decent tomato slice? Nope. Some good mustard… I mean really good like Maille of Grey Poupon? Nope. Try the Turkey Avocado. It is as flat tasting as a hockey puck. Some sour cream and a splash of white wine vinegar with a sprinkle of taco seasoning… PLEASE! Finally, you better like focaccia bread, or you will be disappointed.
