New Horizons Computer Learning Centers

I showed up for the training this morning and even though I was on the sign-​in sheet and had student credentials at a PC I was told that the course was full and they sent me packing. I can’t begin to convey my frustration with this company and it isn’t the first time. Last year I showed up to take an MCSE exam and even though the voice-​mail message and website said the testing center was open, there wasn’t anyone there besides the receptionist. We had received 1 ½ inches of snow the night before which wasn’t bad but it still would have been acceptable if the testing center was advertised as closed for the day. I called Microsoft and they were in the same boat, they believed the testing center to be open but couldn’t contact anyone. I ended up driving to Centriq Training that same day and took that exam, but was charged twice since in Microsoft’s system I was the one who didn’t show up. I finally did get the exam fee refunded but vowed never to take another test at New Horizons.

I have used them for 4 classes — Access and SQL. Mentored learning and online live. Excellent local and remote staff. I was unsure about non-​classroom classes but they folks have it figured out well. I will be back.
