Awesome pizza and great for kids! We will definitely make this a repeat eatery when we visit KC.

I’ve been here several times, not only to eat, but just chat. The owner and family are beyond friendly!!! The pizza is some of the best around in Kansas City! This is a place that you have to try and come back again for seconds, thirds, and even more!

Finally tried the meatball sub instead of pizza. Very mediocre. The meatballs were not heated all the way through and weren’t great. I expected a fork and knife sandwich, but didn’t need utensils.

I stopped in for the $ 6.35 daily lunch special(one-topping pizza slice, salad, and a drink). My salad was delivered to my table about five minutes after I ordered at the counter. My made-to-order pizza slice was delivered about 13 minutes later, which gave me time to finish my salad. The house salad was generously sized, fresh, and delicious. The pizza slice had a tasty crust, plenty of cheese, spicy pepperoni, and was somewhat greasy. The interior was clean, and welcoming, with friendly service, a nice family vibe, and background music.

Went to Geo’s for the first time yesterday, met my brother there for dinner. I really thought that the pizza was great, the atmosphere is very casual. The people were very accommodating, as we asked to split the bill(as I never carry cash) and was done very quickly. I will be returning.

I have no complaints. This place was awesome. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Nice for a quick slice or a causal outing with a friend or family.

I had been craving pizza for a while! While in Kansas City for business I wanted something different. I was not disappointed!!! I had the Papa Geo and BBQ chicken pizzas. Both were amazing. The staff was very friendly! All in all best pizza I have had!!! Totally recommend!!!

I’ve been here a few times, and I have been swept up by the charm of it. Father and daughter team… She has the personality. He is whipping up delicious food. Everyone seems happy and confident in their product. The pizza is great — and an especially good value when you order by the slice. I have had the Reuben, and it truly is a wonderful sandwich. I have also had the Italian Sausage on a hoagie. It’s spicy, and perfect. For me, the best thing I’ve tried there is the lasagna. I go with the meat sauce, and it’s served piping hot. The garlic bread is the perfect compliment, and I order that with cheese melted on top(for a small up-charge). Bottom line: I’m very glad to have an office nearby this gem of a restaurant. My only gripe is the Pepsi products — but some people prefer it. Why? I don’t know… For what it is, and what it is trying to be — Geo’s has it figured out. I’m a brand new loyal customer. Looking forward to trying the Manicotti!

Love the people here. Love the spaghetti with meat sauce and throw me in some meatballs. Taste like home. And cashier is hot

I was the only person there on my visit. It took them 15 minutes to get my meatball sandwich to me. I was getting to be very upset, and the television was turned up all the way so it was very hard to have the quiet lunch I was seeking. Then my meatball sandwich came. It was worth the wait! Perfectly toasted bread perfectly seasoned sauce perfectly prepared meatball with exactly the right texture, and wonderful smattering of Parmesan cheese on top! I would not say this is the place that you should go if you want to have a quiet relaxing lunch. It’s noisy there’s a bit of a wait and there’s a lot of interruptions people are coming and going to pick up to go orders. But if you want that meatball sandwich, and it’s got to be perfect, this is your place!

I really enjoy this place. They have a great lunch special… slice of pizza, salad and drink for about 7.00. Reasonable and good, made fresh so you will have to wait a minute. Now the best thing we have eaten there is the Ruben sandwich! Wow! So good! Seriously their best menu item!

My wife and I tried Geo’s on Friday night — we ordered a large veggie pizza and some pasta. As for the positives: the veggies on the pizza were very fresh, and the pizza sauce was great as well. My wife enjoyed the meatballs on the pasta, and they included cheese garlic bread with the order. The service was just fine, and the price is nice. The restaurant has the familiar, local pizza parlor ambiance — based on the news article clippings posted on the window, it is a family run joint. The only negative for me is that the cracker-thin crust is not my preference… I generally prefer a thicker(but not as extreme as Chicago-style) crust with some doughy softness to it. I think Geo’s is more like Saint Louis style, except they use regular mozzarella instead of Provel. I don’t really hold this against Geo’s — they make what they make. My wife is less picky about her pizza crust and thought it was great; happy wife/happy life. I would recommend Geo’s to others.

I feel so bad for only giving this place 2 stars because I wanted to give it more. I came here due to the high reviews. I’ll start w/the bad so I can end on a good note. We got a large pizza w/pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms. I didn’t have any so I couldn’t vouch for it, but my husband said it tasted like a frozen pizza but he likes frozen pizza so it was fine(?) haha. I got a house salad w/ranch, it was good, just some lettuce, a big slice of pep, olives, mozzarella and croutons. I had a slice of the Papa Geo’s and a kids manicotti. I just didn’t like the pizza sauce and crust. I don’t know how to explain it. I don’t know if it was suppose to be thin crust because everyone keeps saying this cracker crust but it was more like Pizza Hut’s hand toss. Though the ingredients on top of the pizza were fresh. The manicotti was different, not bad, not good… just a little different. Here’s the good news: The service we had there I thought was great. We got waited on by someone who doesn’t even work there. Her name was Lisa, and she was awesome… they should hire her. Apparently she’s the ex sister in law of the guy in the back, whoever, «he» is. She came to the table and took our order(to my understanding you go up to the register and order there). she got us drinks and even sat w/us and chatted a little bit! She’s kinda Wild and she acts like me! ha I loved her! The lady running the front end was nice too. She said they had a heck of a day and that’s why Lisa was helping, I’m glad Lisa was there or this place may have only gotten 1 star. I wish I could have liked the food better here. All in all the place is clean and family friendly

Based on the high star average, I expected this place to be great. The smallest pizza I’ve ever seen cost us $ 12(I tipped $ 2 out of habit and sorely regretted it) and wasn’t enough to feed my two young girls. It also wasn’t awesome. The crust texture was unappealing — like an undercooked cracker with no flavor. As charming as it is that it’s a family run restaurant, I was a little frustrated that they weren’t a little more professional. The TV was very obnoxious. Frankly, it was a lot like having dinner in someone else’s living room. We didn’t have any salad or pasta so I can’t comment on the rest of the menu. Based solely on price and good quality, I don’t have a reason to go back.

I love the fact that the owner exhibits works by local artists. It is definitely a small family owned place, but feels very friendly and comfortable. We talked to both owners and they couldn’t have been nicer or more proud of what they served. I had a small side salad which was excellent! We ordered a Papa Georgio pizza. It had a lot of toppings which is always good in my opinion:) Their sandwich selection looked great and I think we will definitely make a trip back just to check those out… Definitely worth your time and money!
