Escape KC

I would highly recommend Escape KC. We did Mr. Dupree’s Room and it was so much fun! This is a great group activity and such a fun concept. we went with a group of 4 and were paired with another group of 4, so 8 of us total. think this was a good size group. (allows up to 10). the clues and everything were great and kept us hopping right up to the last minute, and we were able to escape just in the nick of time! although we just went socially, i imagine this would be a fun bonding event for work groups too! really great operation. slightly hard to find the building itself (look at the address – it is an unmarked office building-​but the building does have the address on the side of it!) lots of fun and really loved our experience.

I had a really fun time at Escape KC. It was kind of hard to navigate where the location was at, but I am also slightly directionally challenged. (It is kind of hidden away!) We were so close to getting out! We went with a group and then were placed with another group due to not filling up all the spots. It’s always interesting to try to work together with people that you don’t know. The experience was good with no major glitches. We received a groupon for the tickets, which was awesome. If going again, might try to go with a bigger group to not get mixed with another group, but that’s just a personal preference!

This was my first escape room experience. The staff was great. Our room had lots of cool features that I wish I could explain without ruining it for you. It was well done. However there was one feature that wasn’t working, which was confusing. Never the less it was a unique and great experience.

So. Much. Fun! We got a group of friends and family together for my boyfriends 30^th and ended up having such a great time at Escape KC! We booked ahead of time and Ramira was so great and helpful in getting everything setup and answering questions. Loved the setup and their concept. We did the James Bomb room. Definetly recommend going with a group for a fun night of puzzles /​problem solving!

To say that this was an incredible time is an understatement. As a boss coordinating an outing with my employees for a work event, I was of course worried about how this would all turn out.
I worried for no reason. The James Bomb room was one of the most unique escape rooms I’ve ever seen. My team had an unbelievably fun time, and although we were blown to smithereens as we were on the VERY last step, we had so much fun that our failure was really a huge success.
The staff was wonderful. Reservations and communication with the business were a breeze. Cost is lower than comparable escape room options in the metro area, PLUS you don’t have to worry about getting stuck with random strangers if your room isn’t booked to the max (this is a potential concern with at least one escape room option in KC…).
I can’t recommend Escape-​KC enough.

SO MUCH FUN! Went on a double date for my husband’s birthday. We did the James Bomb room and had a great time! The clues were difficult but not impossible. We had 4 people so there were 12 steps per person basically. The more people you have working on it, the less clues you have to figure out. So if you’re looking for an awesome brain teaser, keep your party low.
The staff was super friendly and really got into their roles which helps you enjoy it too. Definitely highly recommended and I’m a return customer for the other room.
