Almighty Tow Service LLC

We were helped by Chris (He said his name was Chris Cross, easy enough to remember, right? But I digress.) He arrived at our house incredibly fast, and was very informative, helpful, trustworthy, and friendly (basically all the positive things you hope for when dealing with automotive-​related issues, especially when you know nothing about cars, like I do). If we need a tow service in the future, we will be calling Almighty again!

Was having a bit of car trouble and needed a tow. Almighty tow service to the rescue! They responded quickly and were able to get my car loaded and delivered back to the house. Zach was awesome and you could tell he knew what he was doing. Extremely courteous and very professional. I cannot recommend Almighty tow service enough A+++.

Needed a short tow to repair shop through AAA. Promptly arrived and driver was professional and friendly. Definitely would use them again.

EXCELLENT service! Josh is wonderful and kind and professional. I was broken down 30 minutes away from home. He came quickly, got me to where I needed to be and towed my car, and made this unpleasant situation a pleasant experience. I think he went above and beyond. I would highly recommend Almighty Tow Service to anyone!

I needed a short tow (about 2 miles) from point A to point B. Called them and they were polite and courteous on the phone, the wait was about 1 hour from the time I called.
The driver was on time and towed me w/​o problems to my destination.
Almighty is a city-​approved tow operator in KCMO and won’t rip you off.

BEST TOWING EXPERIENCE EVER. I am passing through from California. My starter went out, and between my husband and I, we could not push my car fast enough in the parking lot to roll start it. AAA sent out Almighty Towing, and Jacob came within half and hour. Instead of just towing my car, he gave us a chance and helped us roll start it. With the extra momentum we got it running, and he saved us a tow. Not only was that honorary, he was also a sweetheart and treated us well. Being a female, that is something that we really appreciate!

Arrived promptly and cheerfully. Gave me a jump to get the car moved to a better spot so it could be attached easier to the tow truck. Took the time to look under the hood, gave me helpful feedback on what could be causing the issue. Never thrilled to have my car towed but what is usually a chore turned into a pleasant experience. Definitely recommend!

The tow was fine, but I’ll never call Almighty.
And, remarkably, they blocked my car into place, requiring the towing (!) of two cars for me to get out. These cars had to be towed into place to block me in as they weren’t driveable cars. Just hard to imagine that kind of disregard. But even that isn’t my beef.
Just check your bill when you get checked out. You’ll see that if your car is on the lot for 62 hours (as it was in my case) you’ll be charged for 4 days of storage. That works out to a little over 2 and a half days, but they charge for «calendar dates.» You will be charged «one day» for any period of time before midnight the day of arrival then after midnight the day you take the car! I could understand them charging per day «or portion thereof,» but this is simple gouging. You can see why I’m not a fan.

My car was towed by Almighty tow this past weekend after an accident. I went to obtain my belongings from the car today, my first impression of the office was that it was a bit strange that their office is in the same office as Maaco, and there is nothing directing you to the correct desk. The woman at the desk had no document of my car being at their lot, but another employee walking through confirmed it was in the lot. She sent me around back alone, and without keys (which at this point I had requested).
My car was unlocked, window rolled down and absolutely drenched since it had been raining throughout the night. I again requested my keys from another employee working in the shop and he told me I had to walk back around to the front. At that time, the woman told me she did not have my keys and the police probably still had them. I explained that I witnessed the passing off of keys. She called someone, and after several minutes explained that the person who towed my car still had my keys (2 days later)! I requested that I have some plastic to cover the window, it was going to rain again but she assured me he was on the way with the keys. I’m sure my car is still sitting there with the window down in the rain:-(
Very unorganized and disinterested in doing the right thing for the customer.

This would have been a five star review easily until I called in to the office after the tow, but more on that in a bit.
Natasha had some over heating problems last fall. I got the part to resolve the issue and started to work on it, but ran into a road block. After some procrastinating I went out to finish the job this morning and could not get past the road block. I needed a tow to get her fixed and AAA sent Almighty Tow Service out. The gentleman who came out was awesome. Friendly, professional, efficient, good conversation on the ride up to KCK. Arrived quickly, everything about my experience was top notch, better than 5 stars. I wish I paid more attention to his name, really my bad, because he deserves to be singled out.
After getting to the location, getting unhooked and the driver leaving, the repair service pulled my car in and I noticed the tow guy left the light thing on the back of my car. I did not have a direct number to him, so I looked up the service. I started to explain my issue telling the lady who answered that I wanted to contact him before he got to far, so she put me on hold. Obviously she didn’t care about not letting him get all the way back to JoCo as I did. She came back on the line, finished what was needed at which time she informed me that she had 16 drivers and needed more info than that. Really? Don’t you keep records of where you send your drivers? Being the driver and I had talked about his work towing, I was able to give her a little of his background, which I thought was ridiculous, but really wanted to save him a long drive back to KCK. She then started describing features and seemed even more annoyed that I couldn’t confirm from a description who my driver was than she was that I didn’t have a name.
If I was rating on just the tow service and the driver, 5 stars easily. If I was rating just on the lady answering the call 1 star. Hopefully most people go through a service and don’t have to deal with her so I will stay on the higher end for the great tow experience.

I needed someone to tow a classic 1950 Special Deluxe to the shop and then DMV for an inspection since it was not quite road ready. Almighty Tow took care of it and went out of their way to make it painless, fast and easy.
Very happy using them again for a unique need, the flat bed tow driver was able to get in my parking area, pickup the car and deliver it with no problems.
