The turkey sandwich and fries is my favorite meal. It’s large enough to share! The men in the family love the Monte Cristo. The servers do an outstanding job and making you feel at home. Definitely worth the stop!

We stopped for lunch yesterday. The floor needs some serious cleaning or replacing-makes a bad first impression. Hubby ordered the patty melt. The burger patty was about half the size of the bread it was served on. The patty was so over cooked. Hubby left most of it on his plate uneaten.

We stopped on a whim on the way to an auction. The folks were very nice and the food was very homey. My wife’s omelet was perfect. My bisquits and gravy not so much. The gravy tasted like a mix and the bisquits were very floury. As an accomplished cook, all I can say it isn’t that difficult to make quality scratch buttermilk bisquits and sausage gravy is very simple. Another big plus was the coffee!

Great food and great service! My husband had the Lumberjack breakfast and said it was probably the best breakfast he has had from a restaurant. Sharon was great with helping me create a delicious meal to fit my dietary restrictions.

Average at best. Prices were high for a café. Meals should be a dollar less for what you get. I went with two other friends. I got the Buffalo Chicken salad as a wrap. It was good. The chicken tastes like it was made with Red’s hot sauce. It was bigger than I expected. One thing I would complain about is how it was arranged inside the wrap. Every bite was different then the last. It should have been tossed better then wrapped up. My friend got the patty melt. Just awful! Would not recommend! No flavor and soggy bread are just two of my complaints. My other friend got the Monte Cristo. He would«kinda» recommend it. He said it was bland but the raspberry sauce helped. All meals come with crinkle fries. They were okay. Mine tasted like it had a small amount of freezer burn to them. Maybe breakfast is more their thing?

Love the food! Every item I have had is great! Recommend the Big Mike or Santa fe omelette for breakfast, Monte crispy for lunch. Stop by for his Mac and cheese for dinner! Great service.

A real quality hole in the wall! Husband had the Santa fe omelet. It was packed with flavor and pulled pork. I had a regular breakfast + gravy for my biscuit. It was amazing, I was floored at how good it was! We shared a cinnamon roll though full from the meal. Delish!

Great Sunday breakfast! As always the service was good. The portions are big enough for most Lumberjacks… and Sundevils too! The coffee is hot and fresh. Try the country omelet or ask for a breakfast burrito. This is our new go-to café.

My friend and I just stopped in for a snack. I actually wanted a cold mocha drink but they didn’t have any fancy drinks like I thought. We split the chili cheese fries and each had a soft drink. Chili is supposedly homemade, but, just so-so, in my book. Would return for breakfast and/or grits! Keep patronizing this place. Heber-Overgaard needs the commerce!

This was a small, nice place to stop for food. I had a turkey sandwich that was very filling and delicious. Boyfriend had biscuits and gravy, also good and very filling. The whole table was happy and full by the end of it, definitely nap time.
