Oh man. Service was awful. You will never find a server to refill drinks or get you another adult beverage. Gave us kids glasses and the water didn’t even have ice. When asked for ice just got attidute. Waiter got order wrong and was just a jerk about it. Not worth it. Got somewhere else. Will not be back.

I absolutely love this restaurant. We make it a point to stop there for dinner every time we are jeeping the San Juans. Great drinks and even better food. The Bangers and Mash are a must have and the Irish egg roll are always a good way to start.

The food and service here were excellent. So much so that we came back a second night for dinner while staying in Ouray. Make sure to try the bread pudding!

The food was decent not amazing but the service was rough. Our waitress came by to take our orders and we never saw her again. Someone else brought our food, collected our dishes. No one re filled our drinks and we wanted dessert but after waiting at least 20 minutes after our meal we decided to just throw some cash on the table and bounce

We liked the food at this Irish pub. I had the fish and chips, which were good. Their soup of the day was the beer cheese soup and it was delicious! My husband had the shepherd’s pie and it was just awesome! Good, fast, and friendly service. Very accommodating, and the portions were just the perfect size. Highly recommend this place in Ouray.

Very disappointed — Ate there a couple of months ago and the fish and chips was outstanding. Today it was terrible. Two scrawny pieces of dried out fish and sweet potato tots that were so sweet they should have been a dessert. No one refilled our water until after the bill was paid and we were the only customers in the restaurant. Bummed that I cannot depend on this restaurant anymore or recommend it. Also hard rock music playing and not nice for Mother’s Day…

Food was delicious… drinks were great! Bartender/Server was super helpful and very nice. We would have given 5 stars… but the host at the front gave a bad first impression as we asked if we could sit by window… and he spiked an attitude. Other than that… everything was great! (Definitely order the bread pudding for dessert!!)

Atmosphere is fun! Staff was pleasent. Took a little too long for drinks, especially considering we were sitting at the bar. Food was mediocre. I had the Irish egg rolls and my boyfriend had the wings. We would return, but would not be purchasing food.

I was starving and nothing was open except bars. Wow this place is amazing. Great service and the food is bomb. Also had some good beers I’m just chilling and feeling good. Love this place thank you! Highly recommend for those arriving late and not able to find food

A great dining experience. The food was awesome, the service was quick, and the staff was upbeat and happy. This pub is a great go to when in Ouray, CO. Ordered the Shepherd’s pie and corned beef and cabbage. They tolerated my picky(gluten-free) eating habits and gave great alternatives and suggestions. There are not many Irish dishes that can made gluten– free; oh, how I wish there were. However, the corned beef and cabbage was excellent. The feathered horse was a great drink order too.

Very disappointing! After enjoying their meaty beef stew early this summer I couldn’t wait to return and let my husband sample some. Today, he had a bowl and I had a cup of their signature beef stew. When I looked into my cup I saw a big white vein sticking out of a piece of meat. The beef in both of our dishes was full of GRISTLE and FAT. Inedible! Finally the waitress owned up to finding the culprit who cut the meat-obviously without trimming it. We received a $ 2.00 discount. BFD. We won’t be visiting again.

Nice little Irish pub in the heart of Ouray! We decided to pop in for a cider and a beer one night after dinner during our vacation in Ouray. The bartender was friendly, the bar and restaurant had a good vibe to it and the beer selection was good too.

I must say i was hoping for more from O’Brien’s having been there in the past. I had the salad and soup combo with irish stew. Absolutely disappointing. The salad was decent with reasonably fresh lettuce and veg. Simple and not too shabby. The stew however was atrocious. With color and consistency of diarrhea and as much appeal. The pre-made side of french fries was the highlight of the meal. I hope O’Briens can return to days of old with great and food and service. But as of summer 2015 they are far from satisfying.

Noisy place, packed, understaffed. Sitting near the kitchen food delivery window, we watched as two cooks furiously slammed plates together — and the plates sat. The two food servers couldn’t move around to take orders, pick up food, and deliver to tables fast enough. Several TVs were on — same channel — without closed captions(which would be necessary as the noise level is high.) At 20 min, order was taken. At 40 min, still no water, still no drinks. At 45 min — food is out. At 50 min I have water. At 60 min, we’ve eaten our dinner, and the beers were delivered. Philly cheese steak(no cheese) — lax on onions. Beef stew — very good broth — one piece of meat, a potato and a skin. Another vegetable in there, too. Rename it beef broth for accuracy. Mashed potatoes were real, gravy was tasty. Salad — can’t mess up a salad.

We arrived here at 9:10 on a Friday night. Ordered drinks at 9:15. I went inside to the bar at 9:45 to see about our drinks after I had searched for our server twice prior. I asked the bartender if she’d seen our server since we had waited for our server all this time. Our drinks were on the end of the bar. Bartender said«sorry, we got slammed». Wow! I grabbed our drinks and served my wife and I. After this we still didn’t see our waitress until around 10:15. She acted like all was well. Idiot! Don’t come to this place. My wife and I were only having drinks, but the ordeals the people who were having food dealt with were twice as bad as ours. This place sucks, times 7.

I’ve been here a few times. It’s a pub, has British standards, but not to the level where they have mushy peas(they don’t, do they?) and boiled mushrooms. After my various experiences here, I would not go here if I was in a hurry(It took us forever last time, even though they place was empty). I would go here if I wanted to pop in for a quick beer. Or was in a slow mood and wanted to sit and drink a Guinness and maybe order fries. I would not go here if I wanted a fairly good, warm meal to end a hard day of play. I like to summarize well — go here for beer, go here if you crave fish and chips. go somewhere else if you want a quality warm meal. The fish & chips are ok I think, bangers & mash — no, corned beer & cabbage — no.
