Today I had the finest hot chocolate I have ever tasted, hot with cool frothy milk on top.

I’m glad to find that this town actually has a coffee house. Even better that it has a great setup and good atmosphere. I liked the location even though it had a little bit of background noise from the attached buildings.
The staff seemed nice, it was very clean, they’ve got free internet, and they have several different blends of coffee which is always a plus, but I didn’t like that they only had single serving cream from Coffee-​Mate. I’m guessing that this place doesn’t get busy enough to go through a pitcher of real half&half or soy milk before it expires so I don’t blame them for using the Coffee-​Mate.
Overall a nice place to relax while getting that caffeine fix. I really hope this place makes it.

Considering the city and population, The Vine provides a good place to study, converse with friends or read a book. Nice and cozy with friendly staff. Be sure to try the coffee New Orleans.

Great coffee for those needing a Latte fix in Ottumwa.
I had a coffee from The Vine recently while in Ottumwa for work. I have to admit to being a Starbucks junkie normally. I like knowing not only that I will get the same drink every time I order, no matter where I go in the country, but also that I have a place to go to get away from it all and come out smelling divinely like coffee.
The Vine prepared a Pumpkin Spice Latte that rivals those I’ve gotten from the ‘bucks. I found myself falling into the cozy warmth of fall with my first sip, kind of like that sensation of flopping back into a leaf pile when I was a kid and fall was at its peak.
