Super duper fat tenderloin sandwich. Thickest cut I think I’ve ever had. A lot of the ones in town are thin cut, and over sized for the bun, but this is a good balance. The service was good– and relatively fast. The fries were nothing to write home about– just mediocre. But people don’t come for the fries– they come for the tenderloin. Will I be back for that sandwich– yes!

There has definitely been a change in staff, and for the better! The Recovery Room has an excellent menu selection, and with their «house cleaning» on staff, I can’t complain! Their breakfast brings such a different style to town. Burritos, biscuits and gravy, smothered hash browns… The list goes on! The lunch and supper menu doesn’t disappoint either! There are specials, excellent tenderloins, and I could go on forever!

If you ain’t from Iowa you have got to try their tenderloin sandwich. Best I have ever had. The monster burger challenged my 16 year old son but he won. The onion rings are small and perfect with ranch dip. I have had their breakfast also, great food. Usually busy, sometimes hard to find a table. Local favorite. I have eaten here three times and it has never failed to please.
