What a gem in Ottawa. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Restrooms clean as well. Cheeseburgers were great and the pies are crazy good. Get there early to get cinnamon rolls I guess but other pastries are great also.

We love this place! Were in here several times and were never disappointed. The servers are some of the friendliest we’ve seen and the food was always good. Didn’t try their breakfast but enjoyed their burgers and salad. Great espresso drinks. The vanilla mocha nut is our favorite.

Fun place will go again. We stopped on way from KC, great environment and burgers were so good!

Still love it. We go any time we are within an hour of Ottawa. Every pie we’ve ever had is amazing.

Stopped in for breakfast on a weekday and was surprised that they weren’t open until 8. It was close to 8, so we waited. Super cute place, the service was very attentive and friendly. My husband got some sort of combo of breakfast food and I had the half order of biscuits and gravy and a cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting (that I had to end up splitting with my husband, it was too much for one person!) The cinnamon roll was warm and absolutely wonderful!
Overall, it definitely would have been a 5 if it hadn’t been for my picky palette when it comes to biscuits and gravy. This was not the typical «sausage» gravy that I’m used to making at home. This did not taste like it was made with sausage drippings at all and I had VERY few (less than 5) «flecks» (yes, they were so small they didn’t even qualify as chunks) of sausage in my gravy. Very disappointing. The biscuits, however were phenomenal!
I’d go back for sure, but would definitely try something else. I’ve heard their burgers can’t be beat!

Awesome place! They have an attentive staff and great food. The chili is excellent and French fries are the best!

Breakfast review: Whether you are passing through or staying awhile in Ottawa, KS. You may want to drop by the Keim Bakery for breakfast or lunch. We tried both and the food was great for the price point. If you like to indulge in one of the classic american breakfasts like biscuits and gravy. They are simply perfect. The way I like my B&G. The biscuits were fluffy and buttery, had the right height and melted in your mouth with every bite. The gravy was the traditional white gravy with sausage mixed in the gravy, with just the right amount of pepper to give it a nice bite and heat. The chef cooked the eggs perfectly. I did the full B&G and I was stuffed, I barely finished the whole plate, but did because I enjoyed every bite.
Overall, the flavors were perfect. When you order the eggs, they will seperate them, however, I like my eggs on top of my B&G. Creating this other layer of food on top, simply enhanced the whole breakfast experience for me. It’s definitely worth your time to visit them. They make all their bake goods and breads fresh daily. The folks are wonderful to talk to and the service was quick. Food came out fresh and hot, like it should for a breakfast.
One noted breakfast item that we did not get to try but looked great was their cinnamon rolls, they were huge and looked, smelled awesome. They had the traditional cinnammon role and a cream cheese frosting. They both looked delicious.

I was rolling through Ottawa on a bicycle tour of the middle of the country. I needed a little fix of breakfast to get me going. A local in the nearby park told me to check this place out. The coffee was excellent and the baked goods were awesome! Not to rat on Kansas or middle America but I was surprised I could find something this good out there. Keim Bakery and Ottawa are worth a visit!

Beth and the team are awesome! We came in for lattes a couple days ago while we’re on our vacation, but have come back today because our experience was so good the first time. Beth reminds us of a really friendly, funny aunt of ours – very fun to talk to. Looks like they know the regulars and really care about their customers. The food was great today – home made bread!

Really good food. My wife and I like to bring our boys here for sweets on a weekend once a month. They love the cinnamon rolls, brownies and cookies. The pies are great too! We frequently get their burgers and fries for lunch– our favorites! The fries are fresh cut and the burgers and buns are fabulous! Definitely worth a try if you are in Ottawa Kansas.

Have come here numerous times. Biscuits and gravy portions are monstrous. Burgers are good. Have never had anything inedible here. Staff is friendly and will make things right if there is any issues.

I went here to try out their food. I wanted to know what was in the chili. I was told they don’t know, the cook in the kitchen knows but they did not offer to go ask, so we walked out. I went in a second time to ask if they have gingerbread cookies for the holidays, I was given a buisness card and again told, we don’t know. I called the number on the card to be told they don’t know, someone would call me. What do you know?
