Have been back several times since it’s opened and just haven’t been as happy. Something is off about the pizza here — just not the same Lou’s as we’re used to. The search continues for a great pizza place in our area. Until then, it’s Giordanos for deep dish and a hike out to Philly’s in Willowbrook for thin crust.

Ordered delivery for dinner, first time from this location & and wasn’t overly impressed. Malnati’s however is consistent with the quality & taste of its staples. The Malnati salad I ordered was well packed & tasty. The order of buffalo wings arrived kind of soggy, not crispy & piping hot as delicious wings should be. I don’t know how many there were, but they were the perfect finger size I like(not enormously deformed) and aside from the sweaty coated crisp, they were ok. Malnati’s might reconsider packing crispy, hot wings in an air tight plastic container. The steam kills them. The medium thin crust pizza was just ok. It wasn’t even lukewarm. Kinda like it’d been sitting in the box for a while. How does pizza go from their hot oven to cold before it arrives at your door? Delivery was within 45mins of the time I placed my order & I’d like to give them points for that; if the delivery girl would not have acted like she didn’t even know why she was at my door. She hands my husband a piece paper & then stands and looks at him. He had to ask what she wanted before she mumbled I guess you need to sign(we’d paid via debit online). Malnati’s might want to invest in delivery drivers that actually know the art of «delivery». Overall it was an expensive mildly disappointing meal. I’d have preferred to go sit down to grab a bite to eat out @ $ 50 than make due with their delivery. I ordered a piece of Tiramisu that’s waiting on my kitchen counter. It looks delicious. Perhaps it’ll be tasty enough to sway my opinion. I doubt it. I’ll stick to the downtown Chicago location that hasn’t disappointed me yet.

On 12÷22÷15 we ordered a large«Lou» well done, uncut. Got the pizza home and again the dough was not cooked and dripping with liquid. Gave them a call to let them know and the manager apologized and asked if we would like a new pizza or a refund. We opted for the refund to our credit card and never received it. This is the worst Lou Malnati’s location. They are hit or miss on their pizzas. Also, PLEASEDON’T LIETOME. Don’t tell me you will refund the pizza and never credit the card back. Guess we go back to Giordanos. Never had an issue there.

We LOOOOVE Lou’s and were so excited that they opened a location in Oswego. Buuuuuuuuuut… we have ordered from this location 3 times and it was been AWFUL every time. My husband finally said, «Write a review on Unilocal!Tell everyone to go to the one in Naperville instead.» So here I am, letting you all know that this location does NOT serve the yummy deliciousness that Lou Malnati’s is famous for. Let’s just say this: my 4 year old pizza-holic didn’t finish his slice, which really says a lot! Save yourself from a real disappointing dinner and drive the extra distance to the Naperville location!

Lou Malnati’s is consistently good. The deep dish pizza with the butter crust can’t be compared to anything else. The sauce and sausage have great flavor. If you order sausage, you’ll get the patty by default(sausage in every bite); I don’t know why but I prefer the typical pieces. This Lou Malnati’s location is carry-out only; the closest sit down restaurant is in downtown Naperville. The employees are courteous; they ask if you want your pizza left whole or sliced first(people can be picky about this I guess). The restaurant is clean, and the wait time is a reasonable 30 minutes.

Price, very good. Service, timely. We ordered on-line, which was a good experience. Ordered a deep dish with sausage & pepperoni. The pizza was kind of wet and it came w/o the requested pepperoni. It was a little bland. Basically, a big sausage patty, some cheese and chunky tomatoes-sauce on a crust. The outter edge of the pizza was very good, but the bottom was a bit, I don’t know, doughy. My husband seemed to like it a lot. I liked it the better the next day when I warmed up in the oven. I will order again, but will try the crumbled sausage and toppings with some flavors. I understand how a topping like pepperoni could get missed.

Always good. Never disappointed. It’s my favorite pizza. Best to eat it hot when the crust is still crunchy. This place is carry out only. I thought that once we got it back to my friends house, it would be soggy. It was not. Still nice and crunchy! Will always be my fav!

I ordered a pizza from this place a month ago and when I got home to eat my first bite it was all bread and sauce. It dawned upon me, maybe this is not the same Lou Malnati’s in Naperville cause all chicago style pizza is loaded with cheese. This pizza was lacking about a pound of cheese. I called them to explain my situation and they were disappointed I receive a pizza like that and sent me a coupon in the mail for any pizza of my choice. My advice would be to stay consistent as the Lou Malnati’s in Naperville and I obviously will be giving them another chance.

This is a long overdue but perfectly executed review. You Lou get my 100th Unilocal review! The pizza gods have opened the flood gates to pure ecstasy. Lou Malnati’s is the king of deep dish pizza and the true victor of Chicago pizza. From the always perfect buttercrust, to the mountains of cheese blanketing the mouthwateringly sweet sausage that nestle under the fresh tomato spread is pure art. Hands down the best pizza I have ever eaten. Nothing on your menu is subpar. Nothing about you is less than perfect. My love for you runs deep. Don’t ever change.

Good pizza, but a medium deep dish pepperoni or sausage is $ 16.25. A half pepperoni half sausage is $ 19.00? Makes no sense whatsoever. I ask the guy behind the counter and he says they charge for 1 whole ingredients on half orders.

We gave Lou another try to see if things would be different from our first two visits. We opted for the pick-up. We ordered a large«Lou» well done. I have to say that the pizza was spot on perfect. It looked and tasted great. Two Thumbs Up! We will be back.

Best Chicago deep dish made. Giordano’s pales in comparison to Lou’s buttery crust. It takes knowing how to order Lou’s pizza(always ask for it uncut before schlepping home with it, and when they say 35 minutes, they mean it down to the minute) but you’ll be happy you did. Excellent addition to the area.

Great pie! Pizza was as good as any Chicago location. Keep in mind deep dishes take a lot of time to cook. Truly a Chicago icon as far as the buttery crust is concerned and they definitely don’t skimp on the ingredients! Wait time was over an hour, but it was a Friday and I’m assuming really busy. Keep that in mind on the weekends and just place your order early. We’ll order again!

Best. Pizza. Ever. Deep Chicago style pizza, sausage patty, fresh veggies and WI mozzarella cheese. Friendly girl delivery driver!

My family used to make almost monthly trips to downtown Naperville for the deep dish at Lou’s, but now we can order carry out from here! So worth it! We LOVE the Lou. It’s very unique. It takes 30 minutes to make, so it’s not a quick service, $ 5 pizza place. Order ahead of time, pickup when told(you may have to wait a bit longer if they are busy), get it home and enjoy! For us, it’s so worth it! P. S. We didn’t care for the thin crust pizza either, but the deep dish is the bomb!!!

There’s no better pizza in the world. Period. We’ve been eating Lou’s for years and have yet to have a bad experience. The Chicago Classic is our favorite. I love that the crust is thick enough to stand up to the toppings, yet it’s still light and fluffy. Order your pizza uncut to keep the juices in. You won’t regret it!

This is my first time here, so I’m starting out with 3 stars. After I eat it I will either go up or down with the rating. This is only pick up or delivery. You can order online which is nice. The pizza was very good. Tasty sausage & the sauce was also very good. I imagine if you could eat the pizza right away the crust wouldn’t be soggy. But, all in all a pretty good pizza!

Great pizza! So glad they opened in Oswego, close to home. We have ordered pizza almost twice a week since they opened. Very satisfied with the delivery service, pizza arrives piping hot and within 40 mins. Have offered a taste to my friends that have never had Lou’s before and they love it.

Ordered a thin crust pizza for delivery and it took 1hr and 20 minutes to arrive. This was approximately what we were told but it arrived lukewarm at best. That would be ok for Domino’s but not a $ 25.00 single pizza.

Well of course this place gets a 5, its the best pizza on the planet! I went there opening day and picked up a couple of their frozen pizzas. 3 days later I ordered the signature«The Lou» for delivery and it was spot on! Yeah it stinks that this place is not«dine in» but I am hoping they will put Giordano’s out of business right down the road then they can take over their restaurant. Lets make this happen people! This location is carry out and delivery only but at least we have one in Oswego now! Most of my restaurant budget will now be going to Lou’s(again), the other part will go to Portillo’s. If you have not had this pizza yet CHECKITOUT!!!

I’m so happy Lou’s finally opened by us! We have been waiting for quality pizza in this area and have tried everything from chains to local establishments. Lou’s blows them all out of the water. Their prices are comparable to others too. Won’t be going to any other pizza place around here unless we need to dine in!

If’ you’ve been to Lou’s you know what to expect. Carry out and delivery only here. Pizza was excellent. Minor service issues due to the new location. Give it a week and they’ll be at full speed. It’s just east of IHOP in the strip close to Route 34. Three days later and I had a leftover slice for lunch. Still outstanding. How any other deep dish place stays in business is beyond me.
