This is great pizza at a good price for a small town. Very tasty and traditional crust. Good selections. On an absolute basis, I’ve had somewhat better, but only in larger cities. A favorite of locals, and a daily stop for State Troopers on their lunch break. Far better pizza and price than Pizza Barn. Small place, good for takeout.

The food here is so yummy! And for the prices you can’t beat it in the Ossipee area. Nate has cooked our food every time I’ve been in and he’s a great cook. They’ve got it all — presentation, taste, ingredients, prices, and personality. The owner Tony is super nice and sits out talking when he can. I’m very picky about my food, especially having a background in the food industry. This is one of my top choices when in the area. Also — I did watch them while taking orders and paying. Nate had gloves that he wore that were changed in between taking orders, cooking, and cleaning up. This restaurant is clean and you can watch them cook your delicious food. I highly recommend«Tony’s» aka Indian Mound House of Pizza.

Never again. Went in one night recently and found an individual smoking in the restaurant. Apparently he was the owner/cook. Placed my order(against better judgment). The guy who took my order gave it to the smoker who proceeded to start cooking without washing his hands. I informed him that he could keep his food and headed out the door. He became belligerent and I politely informed him that if he wanted to discuss the matter further he could call the board of health.

We had two dinner entrees one night when we didn’t feel like cooking and both were very good. The service was excellent and the price was good. I had chicken parmigiana and my guest had chicken and pasta. Both came with salads and the portions were large enough that we had leftovers for lunch the next day. I have heard that the pizza is very good, too.

I happened to stop in to grab a slice of pepperoni for my starving son, who I just tortured with grocery shopping! The slice was HUGE and I was so happy he couldn’t finish it! They put so much care into this one slice of pizza, complete with sprinkles of oregano. I’m glad I grabbed a menu, because now it’s the only place we order pizza in town. My mom has had the fried haddock dinner and said it was great, and so big she couldn’t finish. Just wish they had a bigger dining area so we could order«in» with the family instead of «out»…but maybe with more great reviews they’ll be able to expand… here’s hoping!

Driving back from the Conway area, it was around dinnertime as I was passing through Ossipee. I decided to take a detour off the beaten path and stopped for dinner at Indian Mound House of Pizza, which is located in the Indian Mound Shopping Center on NH Route 16B, just off NH Route 16⁄25. Indian Mound House of Pizza(opened in 2011) is a local pizza restaurant which serves up Greek style pizzas, personal pita pizzas, calzones, subs, sandwiches, burgers, gyros, spinach pie, chicken, seafood, pasta dinners, salads, dessert(baklava, cookies, cheesecake), cold bottled drinks, and coffee. The prices here seem pretty reasonable, most pizzas $ 6.95(sm cheese)-$ 17.75(lg meat lovers), dinners(served with salad and fries/bread(pasta dinners)) $ 6.95-$ 10.95, and subs $ 5.00-$ 7.25. Daily specials are posted in front of the shop. The place is casual and clean, order at the counter, with table seating and high table seating and a TV in the cozy dining area. There’s also seating outside in front during nicer weather. The place was pretty quiet when I arrived here for dinner around 6PM. Since it was very nice outside, there were a couple diners enjoying dinner outside. I ordered a Small Cheese Pizza($ 5.95-special) and a Spaghetti & Sausage Dinner($ 8.50) for takeout. Also, the Local Police and State Police stopped in here for a meal break, as I waited for my order. I’m thinking to myself the food has to be pretty good, especially the steak & cheese subs, which I could hear the steak and vegetables sizzling on the grill. The food I had was solid good and satisfying. The cheese pizza(baked in a pan) had a good amount of cheese and sauce(not too greasy) on top of a firm thin crust, which was not greasy. The Spaghetti & Sausage(in a 9″ round aluminum container) was a good sized portion of soft spaghetti, very firm sausage slices(sliced oblong) and a thick sweet tomato meat sauce. The side salad(lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, green peppers, black olives, shredded cheese) was fresh and the creamy Greek dressing was pretty good. The garlic bread(sliced sub roll) was buttery and firm. Overall, the food was solid good and the service was prompt. My order was ready to go in under 15 minutes.
