Really nice wait staff. Ordered the meatball sandwich and it was tasty enough. A good place to have a nice, casual meal with a friend.

Great pizza from someone who grew up eating Real NJ and NYC pizza. Our family eats here or orders from here at lest once a week on average. Service is fast, food is really good — totally dependable place for families and people who want good food that’s made fresh. Also awesome home made gelato. Go. Eat. Enjoy.

This place is not good when it comes to making sandwiches. Called to place an order and was really craving a grilled chicken philly, well guess what, they can’t make it because it is not one of their buttons on the cash register! Seriously!!! So settled for a regular philly cheese steak or should I say mistake? Talk about frozen meat from a box, this was the worst philly cheese steak. I really don’t get it, most nice pizza places and restaurants use roast beef and put pride into their sandwiches, no not this place. Well anyways, thank you for the upset stomach!

the delivery boys are the best & fastest. Especially the one who drives a blue Acura. Food always arrives fast & out of the oven hot. Just like the driver. Best service and pizza yet. Ps they have Mexican soda ;)

These 5 stars are for the tiramisu at Ossining Pizzeria and Restaurant. I go to their coffee shop and get tiramisu for myself, and for dinners and parties. I can also order it, depending on how much I want. The texture and moisture is just right. The flavor of the coffee and the density of each serving is perfect. This tiramisu is a prize-winner. This is the best tiramisu in Westchester County!!!

I’ve been a regular here for several years and never been disappointed. The pizza slice selection is the best in the area usually having dozens of specialty pizzas on display behind the front counter. Basically typical casual Italian food with large portions at reasonable prices. The veal parmigiana and veal gypsy are probably my favorite dishes on the menu. The house vinagarette salad dressing is outstanding. The gelateria next door has the best selection of gelato in the area too.

The food is good here. The owner is a jerk though lol! He tried to correct me on what he thought he heard and I told him«whatever you think you heard, it doesn’t matter, I want the buffalo chicken pizza« After I said that he used his dirty cash handling hands to grab the correct slice. The woman working behind him had a grin on her face as if she was pleased that I was standing up to this a-hole. I guess he is not used to be talking back to him, being that he was giving a little boy a hard time just be for me.

If you’re familiar with the traffic patterns and traffic lights of Ossining, you’ll understand when I say that this place is poorly located. That aside, I followed the advice of a few native Ossiningers(?) and tried their«famous» buffalo chicken slice, and it really was great. Their Sicilian was really good as well; crispy and not too dense/bread-y. This will never be close to the top of my list of favorite pizza spots; however, they’re pretty good and worth a second trip to… after about ten minutes of traffic and long lights, of course.

I haven’t visited the place in really long time, perhaps about for 6 – 7 years? I don’t think the quality has changed, the pizza could be better but still satisfactory. But with a bottle of soda and a slice of pizza for $ 6.45, isn’t that kind of expensive? Maybe I am asking too much for Westchester, but I know there are who a lot better deals out there(even in NYC). Next time, I think I’ll refrain from buying individual meals but get an entire pizza and supply drinks by myself.

The fat short guy I believe is the manager… Does not acknowledge people of color… He is rude seems stressed out … Need I say more… The pizza is ok. But with bad service when he’s there who would want to go… I’ll rather starve…

Worst service ever! Absolutely Rude! Pizza is okay, but chicken dish, eggplant, and meatballs YUK. We were a table of five, and they screwed up two of the orders, then argued with us about it. The gelato place next door is no better. Good gelato, but terrible attitude. We have been going to Ossining pizza for close to 12 years and it’s just getting worse and worse. We will definitely not be going back. I think they really need Robert Irvine of Restaurant Impossible.

Amazing this place is still in business despite the numerous reviews, which I vehemently agree with, that the owner is an arrogant piece of trash with a Napoleon comes second to none! If it wasn’t for their tomato vinegar chicken slice, I would have taken old grandpa to the back and taken care of him a long time ago!!!

I am here to review the espresso and gelato, which are as good as any wonderful you would find in Rome, and BETTER than any barista in NYC. Yes, you read that right. You should take the Hudson Line train up to Ossining, order your cappuccino or espresso *in Italian* and prepare to be blown away. This is just a corner store kinda spit, with huge lottery ticket machines and huge checkers you can play on table mats. People run in and out all day for a quick slice, a scoop, an espresso. The pizza, no bi deal. Their coffee expertise and that espresso machine, one of a kind.

I’m a non-New Yorker, but was told this would be an «authentic» NY pizza experience — I don’t really have any basis for comparison, but I left extremely satisfied. While you wait for the main course, they bring you a basket of piping hot, pre-sliced baguette bread. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside — I couldn’t stop eating this bread, even though I knew I’d be loading up on carbs in just a few minutes. For food, the large, half garlic, half sausage/bacon pizza was more than enough for 4 people to share. If you like garlic, GETTHEGARLIC pizza. Minced garlic just took a normal cheese pizza to a whole new level with its punch of flavor. I also sampled a bit of calamari fra diavolo(spicy seafood pasta). I LOVE spicy foods, and this was the perfect amount of spice. Not so much that you’re reaching for your water every bite, but just enough for a bit of a kick. Apparently you can ask for«extra garlic» on any of the pasta dishes, which is highly recommended(but that’s just a group of garlic lovers talking). If you still have room after your carb feast, be sure to go to the small dessert shop next door for homemade gelato. The chocolate hazelnut-bacio gelato was outstanding — The hazelnut blended with the rich, dark chocolate seamlessly.

Take any halfway decent neighborhood pizza joint in the NY/NJ area, put it into a copy machine, and out will come Ossining Pizza. Nothing bad. Nothing great. Expect deja-vu to settle in when you eat here because, well, you’ve eaten here before, just under a different name, likely somewhere near your hometown. Pizza was average, but the good kind of average. My family enjoyed the chicken parm, which also looked pretty standard issue. The aspiring Vegan in me tried the Spaghetti Louisiana, minus the baby shrimp, and with whole wheat linguini instead of their regular pasta. Tossed with chopped tomatoes in an oil and garlic sauce, with the promise of being spicy thanks to a dose of red hot pepper flakes, it was exactly as bland as you might expect from a pizza joint. Slices of garlic were not thoroughly cooked, and there was hardly a hint of red pepper flakes in any bite. I blame myself for being on this health kick and thus finding myself underwhelmed by ordering such a dish. I should have just cheated and downed a few slices of pepperoni pizza instead. The thing is, back in my hometown, our neighborhood pizza joints make exceptionally good Italian food. The families all hail from Staten Island or Brooklyn, bring their ingredients in fresh from their local Italian delis, and have skilled chefs working in the kitchen. They’ve raised the bar big time when it comes to being just another pizzeria. Ossining Pizza doesn’t seem to have gotten that memo yet, but it’s still fine for what it is.

They say the best pizza is in the Bronx and while I agree with this sentiment. I must also add that this place can really compete with the best of them. Pizza was thin crust and not blandly seasoned. I wish I could describe that difference of when you have real pizza an when you eat that crappy dollar pizza. This is real pizza guys. Lets not forget that connected to this shop next door there is a little dessert spot with homemade gelato which is to die for! The owner said recipe was straight from Italy. I believe him even though I never been! Definitely cant wait till Im back in Ossining to eat from here again!
