This is where you go when you need sporting goods like baseball mitts, bats, and the like. You don’t buy that stuff on Amazon when you have kids, because mail order doesn’t advise you on what model best fits little hands, etc., etc., etc., You go HERE because they have decades of experience to help you choose the absolutely best matching equipment for your son or daughter while decidedly looking out for your budget(read: no upsell. Ever). I have 4 children, and this past year was the year all of them got into baseball. Lee himself was there and assisted greatly with getting them the right stuff, which was greatly appreciated. As we were being rung up, he made a huge call as well when he suggested that we forego the regular hardball for my 8 year old son and go with the softer practice balls that age group uses. It was cheaper, and far more forgiving when it caromed off the boot of his mitt and into the puss later. Great call there. The place has been open for decades, and with good reason. They are friendly, helpful, wise, and reasonably priced. This is what local, independent retail should be, it hearkens to a bygone era of a better consumer experience, and I am a big fan.
