This is for ob/gyn care at the Maple Grove hospital location although I’m thinking the care is comparable at all their locations. If you want to constantly be sold unnecessary c-sections and inductions like a used car starting at 8 weeks, then come here. They are very nice until you start asking why if there are no medical reasons. I’m giving two stars vs one start because I liked the nurses and ultrasound techs. Funny story, the phlebotomist told me once to hide my appt paperwork from my husband if I didn’t want him to know my weight. Wtf would I marry someone I need to keep petty info like that from? I guess that’s why she’s thankfully only a phlebotomist. I met a pregnant nurse once at a Park Nicollet urgent care and she voluntarily told me she uses Oakdale. I’m guessing that was her version of a hint that I will take her up on it if there is a next time. I’ve also had issues with another Park Nicollet office. Yes, it’s convenient having all your info in a central database, but it’s really not worth it when you have to deal with issues like these. I’ll keep trying other practices, except Fairview, I guess. The reason I give 3 stars is because I had two great doctors during labor that were not my usual doctors. You get whoever is on call and I got lucky that night. They were amazing. I’m not sure I would risk it again though. The doctor(Schultz?) I took off my visit list was on call the day after and I didn’t even want to look at her. I can’t imagine having to deal with her during labor. You get who you get so that’s why I will keep looking.
