Lifetouch National School Studios

Last week my son said the Lifetouch photographer moved his head and hurt his neck. It was so bad that he was crying in pain and was in pain for 3 days. When I called Lifetouch Bay Area and reported it, no one called me back and I had to call the next day to complain. They then became defensive and indicated they never touch children, which I know is not true.
I asked for their policy on touching children and their corporate office in MN indicated they cannot provide that too me. So they cannot provide me the policy for their photographers, that directly affects my kids, and what they are allowed to do? Of course they did not admit any guilt nor offer anything, not even offering to refund the high picture price.
I think besides charging high prices for poor photos, there is something wrong with this company’s culture. If I got a call that a child was hurt, I would call back immediately, not wait till they call the next day or wish they would not call again. If you get any Lifetouch photographers at your kids school, you should ask they about their policy on touching children. Unfortunately, they are the biggest school photography company in the nation. I just know I’m never going to allow them near my sons again and rather go to another place for portrait pictures each year.
Resist the urge to buy the school pictures from this company and go to Sears instead.
