*****WARNING***** do not go here if you value your clothes and check with your hotel to see where they send the dry cleaning. Staying at the Fairfield I’ve sent items it and had to complain more than once. They love to blame it on the manufacturer of a garment if it is damaged and don’t take any responsibility until you call, complain and make them. My wool dress was supposed to be hand washed delicately and the cuffed sleeves came back stained yellow with spots and all they did was blame the binding and refunded me $ 17. The dress came back worse the second time around. They did not offer to replace the cuffs at all. The sleeves were frayed. The dress cost me $ 120 and they said they’re not responsible due to a manufacture defect even though I’m sure their seamstress could have replaced my cuffs. My dress is now completely unwearable. They broke a zipper on a second dress and then had the audacity to tell me that the zipper wasn’t broken. I had to tell them numerous times that it worked before being sent in and now does not I. E the dress zipper ISBROKEN. After 5 min of back and forth she said she could take it in and replace the zipper for a cost which lead to another 5 min of discussing the fact that they should do it for free. The dress finally did come back after they replaced the zipper. Save yourself the trouble of losing loved garments and just do your dry cleaning at a better more responsible place. Stannard is irresponsible with clothes and does not know how to take care of customers.

If this is the«Best Shirt Service in Town,» I don’t want to know what they think is bad. To make a long story short, I had to return here twice with some of the boyfriend’s shirts to have broken buttons replaced — buttons that they destroyed while pressing them. I understand that buttons are necessarily super sturdy, but their website claims that they replace buttons if needed. Why, then, do they not CHECK shirts before returning them to customers?! I received a refund on my latest order and they replaced all the buttons for free, as they should, but I’m afraid I can’t bring any more cleaning here, since I shouldn’t have to tell them I’m a special, complaining customer who had better not find any more broken buttons on the boyfriend’s $ 100 shirts.

Have taken a wide variety of dress clothing items here over the course of the past year, and they have always gotten my items back to me looking sharp and on time. I also recently took my down comforter here for cleaning and they did a great job with this difficult item as well. The staff here has always been friendly and helpful on my visits. The only bad quality to be found here is that the price is significantly higher than you are bound to find at most of the larger national chains. Are there services that much better as to justify this? I am not so sure. The connivence factor of this place being located so close to where I live negates this variable in my own personal situation, but you might want to shop around depending on where you live.

Service was great. However my two-piece suit cost $ 16.00 to have dry cleaned. No special alteration or cleaning required. I nearly had a heart attack.
