I hate to say it, but Boyt just keeps dropping the ball. I like their products very much because I believe they are good quality, but, WOW, their customer service is just awful. On June 22nd I ordered a standard shooting shirt from Bob Allen Sportswear(orders ship out under Boyt since they are all the same company). A few months later I still hadn’t received the shirt so I called in to get a status on my order. The woman I spoke to was unpleasant and slow, but finally informed me that the item was on back order. No kidding… that was pretty obvious. They offered no apologies for the extraordinarily long delay and in no way attempted to make up for the delay. They did say I could expect it in October. I waited. I waited some more. After the fourth month passed, I considered cancelling the order but was more curious to see how long it took them so I waited even longer. Finally, on December 7th I received a notification that the item had shipped… on standard 7 – 10 day ground shipping. I received the item 6 days later. I can’t even begin to tell you how frustrating it was to wait nearly 6 months(!!!) to receive a standard single item. Not only did Boyt not apologize for the incredibly long delay, they decided to ship the item to me using the longest possible shipping terms. To me, this is absolutely unacceptable. After a near 6 month wait, the item should have been shipped 2-day, if not overnighted. I will never order another product from Boyt Harness Company, Bob Allen Sportswear, Secure Vault, or Mud River Dog Products. Once again, the Boyt Family of Companies has failed to provide even the most basic customer service.
