My boyfriend and I came here for dinner last night. It was a quiet Thursday and we were greeted and seated quickly. I had a lemon drop martini which was very weak but it tasted good. We started with the stuffed mushroom, by recommendation of the waiter, and toasted ravioli. The mushrooms were spicy as they are stuffed with sausage and cheese. They were not worth the $ 10. My boyfriend said the toasted ravioli were tasty. We both got salads that was drenched in their homemade dressing they rave about. We both thought it was missing something. I ordered the grouper for dinner. I should have read the menu more closely but it was smothered in provel cheese. It tasted eggy if you could imagine. Please pass on that. My boyfriend got the filet which tasted so bland that he had to ask for A1 which anyone knows is sac-religious for a filet. All and all the ambiance was nice but it’s likely they forgot to season the food when they cooked the night we came. There are way to many good places in the surrounding area for you to have this on your radar.

Everything I have tried here I have enjoyed except the veal parmaesan, which was tough and dry. The service is always great and the owner is usually there greeting you at the door.

This is a lake staple for me and the prime rib is exceptional. I have also had the chicken Daniel and chicken Parmesan which are also very good. A little pricey but the quality of the food and service will keep me coming back for more!

Domenico’s is our go-to restaurant at the lake. We have always enjoyed the Arcobasso’s restaurants in St Louis. It is nice that we can still have great food and a nice dining experience at the lake. The owners are down to earth and very friendly. We had an enjoyable conversation with Debbie the last time we were in. The bartenders and servers have been there for years, which is a great sign. We like to have a drink in the cozy bar before dinner. Domenico’s signature salad is to die for! If you are leery of too much dressing, simply ask for it on the side. Our favorite main dishes include the seafood pasta, filet, chicken daniel, and the tuna. I highly recommend Domenico’s!

Everything great; from the wait staff to the drinks to the food. Except the house salad dressing tastes like cat food. Welp. Can’t have it all.

Domenico’s is one of the best places in Osage Beach. We’ve been here several times and it’s always top notch food and service. The charbroiled prime rib is the best we’ve ever had, but you can’t go wrong with the pasta dishes either. The Chicken Luna is spectacular. We’ve never had the same server, but the service has always been attentive without being overbearing. We will be back and can’t recommend it highly enough.

We have eaten here several times. I love the chicken daniel. We decided to try something different tonight. Filet for me and prime rib for my husband. Both were tender but no flavor.

This my favorite place to come when I’m at the lake. The steak acrobasso is fantastic! The house salad is not to be missed. My family usually orders one of the many Italian specialties and everyone always leaves full and happy.

We gave Domenico’s a second try tonight. A year ago we were going to eat here but after sitting at our table for 10 minutes and no one waiting on us we left. So anyway we came back tonight. There was no one at the hostess stand when we got there and there was another family waiting to be seated. Our thought was oh no here we go again. We got seated and the service it was slow to get started. The service ran hot and cold all night. The food was good. I had a prime rib sandwich with cheese added, a side of pasta and a salad. My husband had the veal piccata with a baked potato and salad. The food was very good. The house dressing on the salads was great. The only things that weren’t good were the dinner rolls and the pasta was nothing special. The prices were in line for the food we had. There was nothing special about the décor. I would go back but I can’t say there was any thing special about this place.

I’m not sure where to start with this review… my entire experience at this restaurant felt the first half of an episode of Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsay. To start off, the restaurant was very dark and small inside. There were two groups seated already, and my own party of five was the largest by far. One entire wall was mirrored to make the room appear bigger. Frank Sinatra was playing, loud enough to make it difficult to hear our waiter.(At one point during the meal they played the entirety of «Old McDonald» which seemed like a very strange choice for this restaurant) We were granted a bowl of brown and serve dinner rolls for our table and two heaping ice cream scoops of butter. This was the most enjoyable part of my meal. When it came to ordering, I was already unimpressed with the place. I ordered a sandwich because it was reasonably priced and I assumed it would be difficult to make a bad sandwich at a restaurant with such a host of $ 30 entrees. My traveling companions ordered manicotti, a combination salad(only vegetarian option on the menu), another sandwich, and the Prime Rib Special. The sandwiches were not inedible, but the meat was too seasoned to really taste any good. Manicotti looked fine. The salad had cold spaghetti noodles in it and was drenched in dressing… which was strange but might be a local thing? I’ve never seen spaghetti noodles in salad before. The Char-broiled prime rib was where my party-member really felt wronged. She ordered the single at $ 27 rather than the«ALLYOUCANEAT» special emblazoned across the giant plastic bull outside the restaurant(coming in at $ 35.) The warning sign was when the waiter offered steak sauce for the entrée, when it arrived, it looked nothing like a prime rib. I didn’t taste it personally, but my companion swears it was sirloin rather than the promised prime rib. It was deeply brown even at medium rare, with little to no marbling, and very tough to cut. This may have been due to the«char broiled» method of cooking, but this was in no way a $ 27 cut of meat. Other complaints are small, but contributed to a very«blah» spring break dining experience. The loud music, dark atmosphere and overbearing staff(with only three tables in the restaurant) combined with the kinda lame food made me wish we’d chosen a different restaurant. I couldn’t even finish my herb-y sandwich and tossed the boxed leftovers in the trash back at the hotel. Next time I come to Osage Beach I’ll try somewhere else.

My wife and I are not locals, so we found Domenico’s on Unilocal!and decided to give it a try. It was all-you-can-eat Prime Rib Sunday. I normally consider«all-you-can-eat» deals a sign of low quality food. I always expect to see lots of morbidly obese people hanging-off of chairs too small for their butts & stuffing their faces. However, my stereotype could not have been more wrong. Domenico’s is a very nice restaurant for Osage Beach. A bit dated décor, but it has been very well maintained — a sign of good management. You«feel» as if your back home at a more formal restaurant, but everyone is in lake-casual attire. Nice clean shorts, sandals and a clean polo shirt are fine. There is nice dinner music playing overhead and the lighting is a bit low. Overall, a very nice atmosphere. Even the kids were well behaved! While waiting for a table we were invited to sit in the bar. Very fast service and friendly people to talk to. Even though it was Memorial Day weekend, we only waited 10 minutes before we were seated. We ordered sautéed mushrooms as an appetizer and they were fantastic. The olive oil, butter and spices made almost a broth. Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on them and they melt in your mouth. The dinner rolls and butter were equally good. Fresh, doughy, warm and fresh whipped butter. I would have eaten the entire basket if not for the fact that I had a 12 – 14 oz Prime Rib coming and I had to leave some room for it. The dinner salad was good. Iceberg lettuce, red onions and a creamy Italian dressing. We all ordered the char-broiled Prime Rib dinner. At 12 oz, we knew we couldn’t do the all-you-could-eat deal, so we just got the dinner plate. I also realized this is *Certified* Angus Beef(CAB). A lot of restaurants claim to have Angus beef, but unless it states«Certified» and has the USDA logo, its not. We ordered it medium rare and that is exactly how it came out. Beautifully seared and char-broiled on the outside, but perfectly medium rare throughout. These people know how to cook a steak! It was tasty. My only complaint was that the Prime Rib didn’t have much seasoning. With this excellent cut of meat cooked to perfection I was expecting a bit of salt and pepper seasoning, but it was noticeably absent. I still devoured it, but would have enjoyed it more with more seasoning. Service was excellent. We had Kevin for our waiter and he was attentive, courteous and fast without being annoying. It seemed all the waiters were buzzing around providing excellent service. Another sign of good management. Price was up there, but what I’d expect to pay at a quality steakhouse. I had no complaints paying the bill and leaving a hefty tip for Kevin. I’d highly recommend Domenico’s for a good relaxing steak dinner when you’re at the lake.

First let us address the«All You Can Eat Prime Rib … SPECIAL». The single prime rib dinner is around $ 26. the«Special» costs in the $ 30s. How is this special? It’s friggin PRIMERIB! You can go to any of the chain restaurants(Outback, Longhorn, Texas Roadhouse) and get a good sized hunk of steer for no more than $ 25. If you’re gonna call something«special» MAKEITSPECIAL! I got the pasta in a cream sauce. The pasta was cooked proper; however, the cream sauce was the most runny I had ever experienced. In my opinion a cream sauce should be thick enough to stick to the pasta but not too thick. It wasn’t even close. It was runny as hell. The wait staff was extremely nice, fast, and professional! Keep up the great work, guys! I would recommend updating the menu, cut back on the number of dishes offered update the recipes, and revise the prime rib special so the patrons feel they have gotten something special and not been pick-pocketed by the lack of value.

A little on the expensive side but the food is good! One thing I like is that it is not a chain restaurant! The Baked Rigatoni and Meatball is wonderful! Add on the salad with their house Italian dressing! This is one of our favorite places in Osage Beach

Not bad, but not great. I got the all-you-can-eat prime rib. The first steak was very fatty. The second was ok but neither was outstanding. The service was outstanding.

As mentioned in another post, there is not a lot of options for Italian at the lake. But as an alternative to another Italian restaurant at the lake, it hit the spot! The atmosphere is simple with a wide open dining room dimly lit. It is reminiscent of some of the Italian restaurant dining rooms on The Hill in St. Louis. The food in no way is perfect, but was a nice change from the repetitive nature of greasy lake food. We started with their house salad which is loaded with provel cheese and creamy Italian dressing which I prefer over the vinaigrette salads often served. It did not disappoint. For my entrée, I had the tortellini and while the cream sauce consistency was a little watery, it had good flavor. The tortellini pasta was stuffed full of meat and appeared to be home made, however I didn’t ask and can’t confirm that. My wife had the roast beef sandwich and it was very tender and flavorful. The horseradish dip gave it just the right amount of punch and complimented the flavor of the meat. The service started a little slow, but the server redeemed himself with his promptness and pleasant demeanor. Domenico’s was a pleasant surprise and I look forward to going back.

Great service and good entrees and salads. Appetizer we ordered was calamari and it was obviously frozen and fried. Disappointing but not inedible. Server claimed that all sauce and meatballs/sausages are made in house. Even if they aren’t, they were very good. I had cannelloni with meatballs while my colleague had chicken Piccata. We were both happy with our choices.
