Fosters Freeze

The first time I visited Foster’s Freeze was many years ago! They opened when I was in High School and I came once with my family, had a great experience, good memories of the food! Went off to college and moved away, then came back to Butte County area and wanted to check the place out again, since now I’m a Unilocaler :) In total I have only dined here 3 times and it’s exactly as I remembered!!!
They have pretty good burgers! I like their french fries cause they are crinkle style. I would say the best burger is The Boss! All the desserts look great and I definitely want to try one next time. They also have daily specials too! There is a counter that is fully stocked with all the napkins and condiments, Malt vinegar, hot sauce and even have Jalapeños, just help yourself. Also after ordering, you get a number and they bring out your food to you, which is cool!
Staff has been nice and professional, I like the ladies that work there, I’ve never had any mistakes on my orders at all, food is simple and consistent. Owner is visible and very friendly, stopped by our table and asked to take our tray after we finished eating! That was very nice and we appreciated the friendly customer service.
I really like this place because it’s «old fashioned». I personally prefer this place over any fast food joint or Sonic etc. Parking lot is decent, restaurant is in good condition and prices are reasonable. So, if you are ever in the Oroville area, might want to try out Foster’s Freeze!

Great ice cream treats for everyone! Hot, made to order burgers, fries, hot dogs, corn dogs and even deep fried burritos and a wide variety of appetizers too. Something for everyone and a bit of fast food nostalgia. Friendly staff. .fairly clean… but there always seems to be flies in here ??

Clean, friendly, fresh, and fast.

The food here is always good. I love the freshness of their burgers and corn dogs. Their shakes are my favorite. The only drawback is that it can get a little expensive if you’re not paying attention. Dangerous =)
