Oroville’s only movie theater. All movies are $ 5 on Tuesday, which is awesome. Decent arcade and snack selection. Seating is relatively comfortable and what you’d expect from a movie theater. No complaints here.

Excellent theater to go see a matinée mid-day on a weekday! No crowds. They have tightwad Tuesday where the price is a buck less, but prefer paying a buck more for less folks! Some of the cinemas have different seats. Last week I was in one with very comfy seats. Certainly can’t beat the price and lack of crowds!

Had a great time tonight :) just saw 50 Shades of Grey! Tight wad Tuesday ONLY for $ 5, can’t beat that price for a nice big screen movie!!! Add in some yummy buttery salty popcorn :) Nice movie theater, it is still in really good condition(I have not been here in years), lots of parking, lobby area has all the typical movie snacks, candy, nachos, popcorn, sodas, hot dogs, and a few arcade style games! The theater is smaller compared to other theaters I’ve been to, but it wasn’t crazy crowded or packed tonight, got excellent seats and the other guests around me were respectful. I didn’t hear any cell phones going off or people talking too much during the movie or perhaps I was sooo zoned into the movie lol. I thought the volume and screen quality were excellent, just right. The last time I went to the movies at a different theater, the volume was super loud surround sound. Customer service was great when I bought my ticket, and there are benches to sit in the lobby area in case you are too early and the previous movie has not ended yet. People working the snack bar were consistent and quick. Restrooms were clean, enough stalls and sinks, fully stocked with paper towels, soap, etc. Also, it’s not too far from Taco Bell, so it’s very easy to find… Even though I am not a frequent movie goer, I would definitely come back for another Tight wad Tuesday!!!

First time here and I went to see Interstellar with a friend. I have no idea what projectors they’re using but they lack a lot of detail and had odd colors here and there. For the most part I didn’t notice but I’m used to seeing the theater in Chico which never fails to be consist. Since I live in Chico I’d never go out of my way to go here but it was convienent and had the time we could make.

I grew up going to this theater. It will always be my favorite even though I moved away. It was the best for such a little town.

First time here. From Sacramento visiting a friend &&& wanted to see a movie. Transformer it was! Cashier seemed to be having a bad day. Short with us… But I work in customer service too so I know how loooong days could be. Clean. Popcorn okay. It is a small theater but it is a small town. Bathrooms clean. Seats good. Overall okay.

My husband and I really enjoy this theater. We choose to attend the matinees(1:00 to 6:00 p.m.) so it’s inexpensive($ 6), even for star attractions. The price for a ticket after 6:00 p.m. is $ 8.50, and the price on Tightwad Tuesdays is $ 4(not for star attractions). We are quite spoiled; we can choose our seats and not have people sitting right next to us! In addition, it’s clean, the staff is very friendly and it’s right here in town. We have friends who live in Marysville, and they drive to Oroville to see a movie rather than drive to Yuba City and sit in overcrowded theaters. :) I would suggest to Amanda that she not attend movies here since the patrons don’t meet her standards; she should return to Culver City immediately. And Alexa should most certainly drive to Yuba City and attend its overcrowded and more expensive theaters. It’s unfortunate there are no movie theaters in Live Oak. :)

Decent theater. $ 6 for a matinée and $ 4 on select movies all day Tuesdays. Clean enough, other than the patrons… You get what you pay for here. A movie. Don’t expect too much and you won’t be disappointed. Take a look around the town and neighborhood you’re in and that should speak for itself.

Wow. Did I jinx this? I’ve now gone twice to this theater and the second time it was rock’in. Let me define«Rock’in» for you: a word that means full to the rafters of people who have decided to go against the grain of normal society and not shower for weeks at a time. Body wash is apparently a concept lost on Orovillians. Never again, dude. Never(cough) again. Cough, cough. My lungs hurt.
