Fairfield Inn By Marriott

This location has a lot to learn from the quality of beds to customer service. The U of A location wins hands down for hospitality and I would’ve relocated had I known I was equidistant to the office I was working at.
When we showed up on Sunday evening, there was no one at the desk. A cute little sign was propped up that said «Be back in 5 minutes.» Ok cool, so we waited… and waited… and waited some more. I think the attendant was gone for 10+ minutes. We even had time to run back to the car and grab our luggage. When we came back, you guessed it, we waited even longer. The tall brunette who greeted us did not apologize for the wait or even crack a smile. She just asked for a credit card and asked if I needed one or two keys for my room.
My bed was stiff. It definitely was not inviting and on certain nights the couch felt more plush than the king size bed that occupied the room. Three out of the five nights I stayed there, the room smelled like wet cat food and I had to spray it down with my cologne. The bathrooms felt very industrial and dated. At least I got to shower with hot water and the plumbing worked so I give it a pass.
One night, we decided to use the hot tub and saw there was only a soggy towel in the pool area. I approached the front desk, same tall brunette there. I requested for pool towels. She proceeds to talk down to me about how «white towels are bath towels for the room and blue towels are for the pool» as if I was supposed to know. Not sure why I received the hostility. I will not be coming back here, nor would I recommend it to anyone. I love the Marriott brand but this about broke my heart.

So far so good! The staff was friendly on check in… they didn’t ask if i wanted an option to where my points we its ok no biggie. The rooms were very clean and so was the bathroom! They even had lotion stocked in the room!!! so far so great!!! They might get 5 stars in the morning it will have to wait till bfast!

Well this is my first stay at this particular Marriott and my overall impression is a generous 3 stars if that. The morning and afternoon staff are great and the room was clean with the exception of the clogged drain every time I shower. Breakfast is probably the worst amongst other Fairfield Inn hotels I’ve stayed at over the past year. The eggs are literally made of rubber and the sausage will make you regret the decision you made to consume them. Location is great and the room view is exceptional for the money. Not sure I would consider staying here again until a few kinks get ironed out.

We stayed here last year when attending a wedding, and this past weekend for another event down the street at the Reflections at the Buttes (which was also lovely). We are really pleased with this hotel. Great group rate and good breakfasts. The room is very comfortable and clean. The pool water is sparkling!

Love this place. My husband and I held our wedding in Tucson yesterday. All of our guests were from out of town and we wanted a nice hotel that could accommodate them at a reasonable rate. We also wanted a hotel that would allow us to host a dinner for all guests staying at the hotel the night before the wedding. Bill from the Fairfield went above and beyond for us. He offered a reasonable discounted rate for the wedding guests (and our own link for registration that I posted on the wedding website). We were allowed to cater in food and use the private breakfast area downstairs to host the dinner. There were items of information that I wanted handed to each guest as they checked in and Bill and staff happily agreed. We were allowed to use the conference room to practice our reception entrance and much more… It was super fun having everyone in one place and I have to say this hotel played a really important part in making our wedding weekend such a success. In addition, the rooms were great, the daily breakfast was awesome and the views were beautiful. We made an extra effort to clean up after ourselves because the Fairfield team had been so awesome. Overall, everyone had a really great time and so did we. Thank You!

We stayed here for two nights. The staff were extremely pleasant and the rooms were fantastic. We enjoyed all of the amenities and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

the staff is very friendly. the rooms were very clean and roomy. nice little kitchenette. they have oa pretty good free breakfast in the morning and coffe/​tea available 24 – 7. the views of the mountains from our window were beUtiful. I would stay here again.

The rooms are so clean and the whole place looks awesome the clerk at the front was very nice, the even have a phone in the bathroom! free brekfest

Nice clean room. Refrigerator, free break fast, free internet, very comfortable and quiet. Good overall value. Highly recommended.

I stayed here after they renovated and turned this into a Fairfield Inn. I was disappointed in the color choices they used which smacked of the 70s. I had stayed here before it was a Fairfield and I think it looked allot better. Also I disliked the amount of ottomans, chairs and couches in the lobby. I mean come on, this is a hotel, not a furniture store. The lobby is not very large by any means. The rooms are fine but where did they get the idea to put two small ottomans in place of a coffee table? Also there is no end table, there is this ugly floor lamp/​table with a Tucson tour book on it. Designers may think it looks pretty but the question is, is it practical?

Very nice and clean! Another nice marriot run establishment. Rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. My room had a kitchen w fridge flat screen TV, office area to work and a couch. Stay here, you’ll be comfortable
