Nice quiet place for a nice drink to catch up with friends. Very enjoyable. I didn’t think it was smokey at all. They have a great ventilation system and it works well. All that being said, I do like a place where I can smoke though. Highly recommended.

I’m not sure why it is considered an Irish bar. The only Irish beer on tap is Guinness. There’s no Murphy’s or Smithwick’s on tap. The bartender wore a kilt which is the only other thing Irish about the place. I was pretty disappointed and won’t be going back. Plus, it is very smokey in there. I understand it used to be Fletcher’s which was a cigar bar. So, I guess they still allow people to smoke in there. Too smokey for me.

The Orange Kilt is a great addition to the Ormond Beach Bar scene. It’s more than just your average Irish Pub. Yes you can come and enjoy a nice pint with your friends. But you’ll also find a nice selection of craft brews, wines, and a fully stocked bar as well. It’s smoke friendly but you’d never really know it for the smoke adverse. The ventilation is great. Visiting town come on by for a pint with some of the areas friendliest bartenders and make some new friends. With 2 buck PBR’s, 3 dollar wells, and 9 dollar pitchers you’ll have no excuses to give it a try. We’ll see you soon.
