Houligan’s Irish Sports Pub

This restaurant is in DIRE need of a remodel. I can’t stand dining at this location. You walk in and it smells terrible. Last time I lost my appetite. It smells like mold. The ceiling is disgusting where all the intake/​AC vents are and the carpets are old and grody and it just looks bad. Drive the extra 10 – 15 minutes and go to Destination Daytona! It’s newer, cleaner, and doesn’t reek of mildew and mold. Please remodel this location!

Outstanding service and attention to our table of 8 people during the Super Bowl. The wings were cooked/​prepared exactly the way we ordered. Hamburgers were amazing (and huge). We enjoyed several appetizers and all were very good.
Kudos to Heather, our server. She took outstanding care of our needs and made our dining experience a pleasure.

Great Sports Bar with plenty of seating! Aimee, our waitress was super. Had the honey bar b cue wings & seasoned fries. Yum! Ordered a second round with an order of French Onion Soup which was super.
Owner, Tim Curtis, welcomed us and sat at our table for a good ten minutes and shared about his restaurant and his philosophy. A very pleasant, sincere, congenial fellow.
Definitely would recommend this place for a casual meal in a relaxing atmosphere.

Not sure if this is the same location I dined at (I believed it was technically Port Orange). I was in Daytona visiting family this past February and went to this restaurant at least 3 times in 3 or 4 days. Mainly got appetizers which were all standard and delicious. Great beer specials. The one thing I cannot speaking highly enough of is their Wally Wings. Best wings I have ever had in my life. Hands down. Was hoping to bring sauce back up North with me but unfortunately it would not have kept. Try all the flavors. They are already perfectly crisp but try them extra crispy too. Hands down best wings. Cannot recommend them enough.

Was in the area for business, found them on here. I had their wings and they were very good. I also had good service and the place was packed, as I was finishing my last sip of beer they were there to ask me if I wanted another.

This was a great place to watch the Pats, tvs galore, fans of all NFL teams it was awesome! The place was packed and parking was not easy, we arrived minutes before the 1pm kick-​off and had to wait but was not surprised, there is not a bad seat in the joint the staff is super attentive. The menu is typical bar fare, priced the same, and mediocre at best. Sorry, it would be better if you had some wow factors but you didn’t, I had the patty melt, it was mellow, my husband had the french dip, he said it lacked meat, I said «that’s what she said» :) Overall a great place to go, super great people, lots of fun, highly recommend it!!!

Been here twice. Great wings both times, I will be back this week and may expand my menu selections unless I find something else that catches my eye. Really great unique good sauce, beer, laid back ambiance, pool tables…

Have eaten here for many, many years and they never disappoint. Wings are always excellent and cooked correctly. Service is usually very, very good.

Exellent grilled wings, ordered take out. easy access and parking right by the door, staff was friendly.

Popped into this place, as it was near the hotel. The chicken wings were uniquely griled to me, and really good. I was well pleased. Good food and great bartender, too. I’m sure that if I were a local I would enjoy this place from time-​to-​time.
I like that the place has lots of TVs for the sport viewing and the Trivia. That’s always fun. :)

Typical sports bar atmosphere… We sat at the bar but the bartender was not very personable. In fact, I felt as though she was annoyed and just wanted to go home, which made things awkward. So that was disappointing. as for the drinks they were reasonably priced.

The Guinness is good, but… I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with seasoned fries and a bowl of beef barley soup and had to send the sandwich back. It was cold and the cheese barely melted. The soup was good although it was only lukewarm. Kudos to the manager who came to our table to inquire. I told him if his cook cannot make a decent grilled cheese they need to be fired. Amy, our server, graciously took care of removing the sandwich from our bill. Will probably go back, just not in a big hurry to do so.

I usually get the wings here as they are the best in town! However on this weeks visit was just wanting something else. I tried the mahi mahi sandwich and was delicious! i will definitely be back to order this again. Had it blackened, fresh, great seasoning and nice thick piece of fish. Also friend the mashed potatoes for the first time and good as well.

Amazing wings! I was so impressed with them. Really, I can’t tell you how great they were. I’m just in town visiting my brother and I am very tempted to go back again! The ambiance is okay and the service was fine, but really nothing compares to the wings!

Celebrated National Hamburger day at Houligans with a Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger. It was a great burger.
Thick and juicy and grilled to perfection. The seasoned fries were excellent as well. Didn’t have the Wally wings tonight but on my last visit they were awesome.
We had a table near the bar, so it was a little bit noisy.
Service was friendly and quick.

One of my favorite places! No matter which branch you go to, you’re guaranteed to have excellent service, though I think «the original» (Ormond Beach) is the best. All of the waiters/​waitresses/​staff are extremely friendly and will do anything to accommodate you. There are many regulars here who they treat like regular friends, which is great. The food is excellent and so is the atmosphere, especially if you’re a sports fan.

Yes, the hotel gave me a coupon, buy 10 wings and get 16, and yes, I asked the waitress if their wings were any good (I always ask this question and 100% of the time their answer is spot on), she said try the Wally Wings Teriyaki Garlic. OK, I’m in a hotel room alone tonight, I have toothpaste and Scope … what could possibly go wrong?
The wings were amazing, grilled with the sauce embedded… that means do dripping wing sauce. They were wonderful, yes I’m a wing guy and there’s not that many wings that I don’t like, but I still say that I’m an objective consumer.
Beer, beer, beer… yes, they serve most of your favorites but their craft beer selection, while limited, is unique. They offered Ormond Brewing Company — Honey Cream Ale as well as Southern Tier Brewing Company — Old Man (Winter Ale), not found on every corner, however they offered samples of any of their craft brews.
Next time I’m in town I would stop by.
By the way sit at the bar, great service as well as conversation.

Last week went for lunch with a group of 6 great service. I had a burger that was cooked as ordered. Great job!

love the wings, and they have a gluten free basket to cook wings in. The veggie basket is good and we like the corn beef sandwich too. Usually friendly staff, sometimes slow because it’s a busy place, Lots of tv’s and loud in there.

Wings, salad, and diet coke. The Wally wings are the best get them extra crispy. The waitresses are fast, friendly, and easy in the eyes but don’t tell Fran I said so!
