A small selection(less than 10) of hard ice cream, and expensive! $ 0.79 per ounce! Ouch! Lots of choice for toppings and froyo. It’s all priced by weight, so be prepared to drop a minimum of $ 8.00 for a plain, small cup. The quality was ok, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Decent ice cream. Good selection of toppings. BUT… Way too expensive even for cape cod tourist standards. Small Frappé and three mediums in a cup cost $ 45. Seriously. *** Update. Contacted directly by the owner after my post. There was a mistake somewhere along the lines and they made it right by promptly responding to my concerns and also offering a free gift card. Kudos to the owners for this. They obviously care about their establishment and customers too.

I left a previous review, but«somebody» reported it to Unilocal as not complying with Unilocal’s content guidelines because it didn’t appear to be a firsthand experience. Well, WEVISITEDHEREON5÷28÷16, while on the Cape for Memorial Day weekend. I’m rating it so low strictly based on the self-serve ice cream bar. The soft serve was tasteless, more like sugary ice water. And the ‘pay what it weighs’ is very, very expensive if you don’t closely monitor children. You could end up paying $ 10+ for a med. dish. So, my suggestion is to stay away from the ice cream bar!

Wow, this is super hard to rate. I mean, in reality, their prices are so exorbitant I feel like they must be making a million dollars a week. But for ME, it was exactly what I was looking for, bc I wasn’t very hungry and truly only got about three tablespoons of ice cream, with the toppings I liked, and it cost me less than $ 3. But the guy behind me in line got a «normal» sized sundae(I mean literally, not overly big at all, just what I’d call a normal sundae), and it was over $ 8. That is so insane it makes me want to give them 1 star! But like I said, it worked for me, and the ice cream itself was high quality too, so I’m settling on 4.

I’m an out of stater, just using Unilocal to find a good ice cream stand. When I first walked in I thought«oh no, just another froyo joint.» But then I had the hand-made ice cream. Oh man! Was it delicious. If there is better hand made ice cream on the Cape, I’d like to know where. They price their ice cream by weight, which is the fairest way. I’ll be visiting it again during the few short days I have left here.

WOW — An amazing ice cream buffet — best summed up by 8 yr old boy in our party«look what I made Pop, it even has ice cream in there.» He had at least a dozen toppings and sundae«accessories». Truly a yummy experience was had by all.

A friendly place with a different take on frozen desserts. Lots of self serve frozen with a self serve toppings bar that has lots if choices.

Go with the homemade ice cream. Delish. I usually get sick immediately from Richardsons ice cream. But I feel great two hours later from this mint chip. ! Update: Still no stomach ache!!! Please Local Scoop tell me your secret! I have gone ten years without getting sick after ice cream, but your mint chip is heavenly and I feel fine. I promise to not sell your trade secrets … My hubby is an IP Attorney. I know better.

Two words: TOPPINGBAR! This place is the epitome of every child’s dream ice cream shop with a sophisticated side that grownups can enjoy! Essentially it’s a salad bar except with ICECREAM and frozen yogurt. The topping choices are anything but typical. I love the cereal dispensers!!! Fruity Pebbles? Froot Loops? Cinnamon Toast Crunch?! Holy God it’s my childhood come to life! As far as that sophisticated side… Amazing froyo flavors with exquisite fruit topping choices as well as chai, crepes, and a coffee/ice cream combo. The price for this glorious feast isn’t terrible. It’s based on the weight of your final dessert. We had three in our party who FILLED our cups with wild abandon and the total came to $ 21. So so so worth it. Bottom line: don’t miss this place!!!

Love this place. Great location, great flavors, awesome topping bar with SO many yummy things to choose from– basically anything you could ever dream of putting on a sundae is here. The best part for my family is that my husband loves ice cream but we can never go bc he’s lactose intolerant, this place always has solid non-dairy choices, also gfree too– healthy vegan choices too. Highly recommend. The girls that work there were super friendly and helpful also.

Cute spot, ice cream was good, but not so amazing that I MUST have it again. Service was nice, but disorganized. A cone was given to our 7 year old(who obviously started eating it) while a frappé was made for my husband and I had my cup of ice cream scooped. I had to walk to the toppings bar for jimmies(actually my husband did) then he had to come back to the front of the line with the ice cream to pay. When asked about anything else, I said my son’s cone — the girl said it had to be weighed. Okay, I guess you’ll put your thumb on the scale for the eaten part? I felt badly about«cheating,» but wish they gave us better direction. Worth a stop for sure…

This place is wonderful for ice cream, away from the overly crowded tourist traps like other places. As written in the name, this is the«local scoop.» The concept is difficult to find on the Cape, utilizing froyo and ice cream at the same time. They have a full frozen yogurt bar with about 10 flavors, ranging from strawberry to cotton candy. They have a huge toppings bar, with fruit, little candy, chocolate, sprinkles, etc. Prices are quite reasonable, but ice cream is the better bargain. Make sure to try their chocolate coffee ice cream and their lemongrass ginger ice cream as well.

Great ice-cream selection! Reasonably priced and very chill place to hang out. Other than ice cream there is various other goodies which i did not try, but certainly looked delicious.

Very yummy, very clean, very friendly and all organic fro yo. It’s along the same lines as orange leaf(make your own… toppings etc) but it had a nice local feel. Right across the street from the water too :-)

This was a cool little local shop with the same«build-your-own» concept as orange leaf… Nice place, pretty busy, especially for a Sunday afternoon. Good selection of toppings and yogurt/ice cream. All the yogurt was organic. I noticed the strawberries we’re pretty beat up and rotten and they changed them within seconds with no hesitation(I was pretty impressed about that). Clean place, clean restrooms as well. Welcoming and helpful staff as well. Will visit again!

I purchased an ice cream cake the other night to serve at a family dinner. It was devoured! The ice cream(I think… may have been yogurt but in any case it was delicious) was yummy and the brownie crumbles in the middle melted in your mouth. Usually the cookie crumbles inside an ice cream cake are so-so and somewhat -, but the brownie crumbles almost stole the show. Good stuff, and we will have to go again another time to try some of the yogurt.

I’d been eating far too much ice cream on vacation and decided to switch it up a bit and try out some frozen yogurt. This was a great decision as I really enjoyed what I got here. There were so many delicious sounding flavors and toppings that I had trouble choosing. I ended up getting vanilla frozen yogurt with maraschino cherries, hot fudge, whipped Nutella, cinnamon whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles. It was delicious, and at only 49 cents an ounce, pretty inexpensive. Another member in my party ordered a crêpe, which she thought was very good, but making it took a while. There was only one girl working up front and the line ended up backing up while she was making it. There was someone in the back who she asked for help, but by the time she came out, the crêpe was done. I think they need more people working out front to prevent this from happening again.
