My husband and I recently spent a weekend in Orleans for my husband’s birthday. As a surprise I ordered a gift basket from Main Street Wine and Gourmet to be delivered to our inn upon our arrival. I gave Bob Shortsleeve (proprietor) a price range and we discussed what should be in the basket. Bob was great… made suggestions, etc. WOW !- the gift basket was gorgeous and packed with the most delicious stuff. Best gift basket ever! Service and quality were excellent… I highly recommend this wine and gourmet shop!

This is the best wine shop on the outer Cape. Their collection of wines is exceptionally curated, I’ve never gotta a bottle I didn’t like. Beyond wine they also have a great selection of New England based beers and even have some pretty obscure ones. They also now carry a great selection of liquor (gin, rum, whiskey, vodka etc).
In addition to all this they also a nice selection of cheese, spices, sauces, salts, olive oils, vinegars and even wine gadgets, glasses & decanters.
Bottom line, no matter what you need a bottle of wine for, whether its for watching a sunset on the beach or celebrating a special occasion they have the perfect bottle and at a fair price.

While the selection and ambiance was nice the service left a lot to be desired. Aside from one other gentleman, whom the staff knew on a first name basis, we were totally ignored. After 10 minutes and counting 4 employees we left. We had gone in to select a special wine for our anniversary. We won’t go back

Great selection of kitchen goods, culinary treats, gadgets, gizmos, and even locally made wine. The friendly staff were available to assist and while they didn’t have what I was looking for (a garlic press) they were otherwise well-​stocked.
Next time I’m back I’d like to try the red zin they carry from a vineyard in Truro…

This store has a wonderful selection of kitchen goods. You can find everything from appliances to specialty kitchen tools and napkins. The set-​up is adorable! You will find a lot of really unique items that are of the highest quality. They have a nice selection of specialty food items (sauces, jams, mixes), that make great hostess gifts. Be sure to check them out for your kitchen needs!
