I was here for a private event and had the whole place to ourselves. They passed around hor dourves and had a buffet of dishes. Food was very basic but atmosphere was fantastic. Everyone gathered in the patio where there was live music and cigar rolling. The backroom however was mostly empty and ignored.

Working for a whole week conference at the Hyatt Orlando and having been here in the past I knew the food industry is not really good around here BUT I have to say that when we came to this restaurant which I have no clue whatsoever I was a little skeptical. The menu was very simple and the presentation was spectacular and very good. Last but not least our waitress Jennifer was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and suggested which were the best item if you want to have a great experience in Orlando just stop at this place and ask for Jennifer, she will take care you And give you her best. You won’t regret it

Read the reviews and had to come here, if only for the key lime pie. Everything we ordered was delicious! I highly recommend the filet mignon salad. Meat was cooked to perfection, and the crispy shiitake mushrooms tasted like bacon(really)! Brisket tacos were very tasty, and not spicy. Fish and chips crunchy and great. The portions were on the generous side. Dessert. The reason for our visit. Key lime pie was really good, not too tart and not too sweet, perfect. Chocolate pie, just yummy! The service was also very good. We were there at 3 pm between the lunch and dinner rush, so it was not crowded. Our server was very personable, knowledgeable, efficient and made easy conversation. This was the best meal we had in Orlando. Would definitely eat here again and highly recommend.

I found Tommy Bahama on Unilocal as me and my other half are in Orlando FL celebrating his birthday. Our server Hannah was phenomenal… I can’t say enough great things about her. She was attentive, friendly, with a great personality. Even her manager was great. The hostess that seated us even came over and changed my other half’s napkin so it could match his clothes. The food was so good… I didn’t want to stop, neither did the birthday guy. For the appetizer we shared the ahi tuna tacos… I wanted to ask for the recipe, that’s how good they were. I had the macadamia crusted snapper and he had the crab stuffed shrimp for our entrees which we both loved. Then for dessert(which we found room for because everything was just that good lol) he had a salted camel type brownie, I had the vanilla crème brûlée. Delicious. Sorry for being so long with my review but I will tell anyone if you ever have a chance you MUST go to this restaurant. We will more than likely go back tomorrow night lol.

When you got it you just got it and this restaurant has it and well deserving of 5 stars… So we went shopping at the outlets in Orlando and after a long long day of shopping you do build up a appetite. Question was where we were going to eat especially since we dislike fast food joints. It just so happened my wife was in the Tommy Bahama store and notice they had a restaurant as well. Guilty as charge, I never knew they had one. So I thank the Mrs. for shopping in there that day. Now be sure to do valet parking for it’s a busy scenery, full of restaurants and bars. So now we enter and it’s set up just as a island restaurant and the décor pretty modest. Drinks the Mrs had a coconut cloud martini and I the cucumber smash(signature drink) very refreshing and no holds bard on the liquor. Always a plus! For an appetizer we ordered Macadamia Crusted Goat Cheese, freaking phenomenon. The Flatbread made fresh, also the bread served while you wait just so fresh and warm with the ginger butter. Can you say Yummy!!! Our entrées were as follows our son had the medallion Steak and French fries. Not bad for a 16 month old child. My wife ordered the Grilled Baby Back Pork Ribs with came with Island Slaw and Cauliflower-Chive Mash. For myself the Pan Seared Whole Branzino which came with Jicama Hash and Jalapeño Brown Butter. Mind blowing!!! The portions are very filling so filling that I wish I had room to do dessert. After eating this well and the entire staff so pleasant and very professional. I can honestly say you can’t go wrong dinning here. Will be back and will try other tasteful dishes on the menu. Kudos to this restaurant.

A solid 3 start experience. Our party of 7 was celebrating a special occasion, we made reservations through opentable for 7pm. We arrived on time requesting outside seating, as it was a beautiful evening. We were promptly seated and then greeted fairly quickly by our waitress. Our waitress was having a bad night spilling and dropping things, we really felt for her. She was very nice and smiling, and pushed through her opps events. Due to the pavers outside the tables were wobbly but our waitress was very quick to remedy that situation. The ambiance is very nice. The menu very diverse that have something for everyone, and the prices vehttps://www.yelp.com/biz/tommy-bahama-restaurant-bar-store-orlando-orlandory reasonable for the quality your getting. We ordered the Ahi Tacos and Coconut Shrimp as our appetizers. The Ahi Tuna tacos were not good. The shrimp was as good as everyone says, definitely worth ordering. They would have been rated 4 stars if it wasn’t for the kitchen. Our food took forever to come out of the kitchen, and when it did it came out haphazardly. Which didn’t make for everyone getting their food at the same time and dining good experience. The food quality and taste was excellent. It just took too darn long to get our food for a place that was only half full. This is really our only complaint. I ordered the Almond Crusted Snapper with coconut rice which was cooked perfectly and very tasty. All in all would we dine here again, absolutely. They have great staff, excellent food and for the quality of your getting good prices for a higher end dining experience Solid 3 stars or more like 3.5 !!

I’ve been to Tommy Bahamas once in Orlando with a large group and once in NYC just my husband and I. First time I was skeptical being a restaurant in a retail store how good could it be?! Well it was great both times! First of all the island décor is done so tastefully and is perfect for Orlando for that vacation palm tree island vibe. Even the restroom smelled like pineapple & coconut. The coconut shrimp appetizer is a must. Shrimp cooked just right and the sweet savory combo with the sauce are delicious. I got the fish tacos both times(I’m from CA home of fish tacos and wahoo’s) and I love their fish tacos. Seasoned fish although a bit spicy cooked just right –not fried-with this right amount of fixins, not too dry and not too wet on a warm corn flour blend tortilla. It also comes with plantains which are to die for. Their cocktails are creative and the key lime pie passed the Floridians’ taste test. Finally the service from the person who answered the phone to the server were top-notch and added to our good experience.

First time at this restaurant for my graduation and it was amazing! Great food and excellent food service. Food portions were not excessive but just enough to get full off of. I recommend the Thai shrimp and scallops and also the crab stuffed shrimp! Best scallops I’ve ever had hands down. The desserts were delicious as well. I recommend the chocolate molten cake!

I can’t even begin to describe how much I loved this restaurant; it was my first time in a Tommy Bahamas restaurant and I just fell in love with the ambiance, the service and of course the food. The décor is just amazing, it has the most pleasant tropical interior with the ceiling fans and comfortable chairs, seating area outside, lovely cozy booths and of course, courteous staff. They have a long list of alcoholic drinks and some non alcoholic drinks under the category of «Zero proof». We ordered a couple and I really enjoyed them, the Faux-jito was really refreshing without the overpowering taste of alcohol and blue my mind was citrus-y and fresh. The food was really good, too. The blackened fish tacos were the best, although I feel like Orlando didn’t disappoint in fish taco department in general. A big shout out to the amazing bartender«Tim» who just started his shift a little before we left, but took care of us like no other! Tim, you are the best!!!

Shopping and great food and drinks combined! As soon you walk in, you have the option of shop in their store or have a good time in their restaurant. It was our first time and it did not let us down. Our hostess was friendly and gave us few options of table as we have our 6 years old with us and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. We decided to have a table by the bar area. We were immediately greeted by our server Ian, who was professional, knowledgeable and had a great positive attitude. My wife started off with one of their special cocktails(Caribbean style). For entrée, we had artichokes and tuna tartare. The main dishes were one of the most delicious sea food we ever had. We had a shrimp stuffed with crab cake and snapper. This is definitely a place that we will go back.

I love this place so much and if you have not been here go here and try it you won’t be disappointed. Coconut shrimp are decent but kind of overated and the Asian slaw is so good. Ribs are good and the chicken tortilla soup is amazingly good. I had the snapper for the first time tonight and all I have to say is «delicious». The sauce is to die for. Last but not least the crème brûlée in the pineaple is a game changer but be warned this will put all deserts to shame. Just go and get addicted.

Great location in the heart of international drive. Very convenient when coming by car since the restaurant has it own free(when you dine) valet. The atmosphere is tranquil and relaxing. The food is good The crab bisque is quit tasty and you will not go wrong with this! The tuna tacos a very fresh and very good, my other favorite place to eat high end«tacos» is at the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando. I am usually not so fond of the cut«New York strip» but i will make an exception. The cut was very good at a medium cooked center! I would say 85% meat and 15% fat. Very tasty! I would eat it again! It is pricy and be warned but worth it! In total we had 3 drinks, 2 entrées and 2 main dish with a small desert which was with the 15% tip around 160 $

Suggestions: Crab Cake Appetizer, Fish Tacos Price: $ 20-$ 25 entrée(price can easily climb depending on drinks etc) Pros: The quality of ingredients is always top of the line, the service is impeccable, the combinations of ingredients are both unique and wonderful, they have outside seating. Cons: A little on the expensive side but the quality really is worth it 100% Thoughts: Any time my wife and I are in Orlando we try to visit the Tommy Bahama restaurant(ya its really that good). Our most recent trip was prompted by my wife finishing her internship for her masters in psychology and so we went here for a bit of a date night. Now, we’ve been to been to Tommy Bahama on multiple occasions and it is consistently one of my favorite restaurants. At this point we have pretty much settled on our favorite orders which is the crab cake as an appetizer, the painkiller, and two orders of fish tacos. It is honestly hard to describe how good this food is; the quality is on a whole different level than most restaraunts. The crab cake is almost entirely crab, the fish tacos are made with Mahi Mahi(the best fish ever), a mango salsa, and drizzled with some kind of sauce that just brings the entire dish together. The side that comes with the tacos is fried plantains with a dipping sauce that could seriously change your life. I think its a yogurt base with pineapple and coconut but I’m not entirely sure but I would eat that stuff with a spoon. To top all this off, their customer service is absolutely impeccable. It’s not just that I’ve never had a bad experience, I have always had a GREAT experience. They seem to look for ways to make your visit there memorable. On our most recent visit our server asked if we were celebrating anything, we told her we were just taking a few days out of town since Erin just completed her masters and she told us that desert and one of our drinks was on the house. While we don’t always get free stuff it really does seem like they go out of their way to make you want to come back. Tommy Bahama is easily one of my favorite restaurants ever and if you happen to be around the Orlando area it is absolutely worth visiting.

4 stars for tasty food and beautiful décor My mom and I decided to have lunch at Tommy Bahama in Orlando. I had been to the Sarasota location and had a great experience, so it was a no-brainer to try out this one. I ordered the fried fish sandwich with fries. The portion size was huge! And the fish was fried to perfection, complete with tomato lettuce and tarter sauce on the side. The bun wasn’t really needed, as the fish was already fried, but it was all delish and a doggie bag was needed. My mom ordered the fish tacos, always a favorite and it came with plantains with a banana pudding sauce, yum! We didn’t order any appetizers, but it wasn’t necessary, as they give you a generous bread position with cinnamon butter… need I say more?! The downside I have to say, is they don’t have sweet tea… only if you want to add sugar to your tea… I did try the mango tea, and it was good alternative. I’d love to go back again.

Best meal we had in Orlando, hands down. Staff was extremely accommodating, and gave us a reservation just a half an hour before arrival at a restaurant that was pretty busy. Our appetizer, Macadamia Crusted Goat Cheese, got scarfed so quickly we had to order another one. Highly recommended. The Seared Ahi Tuna entrée I had was melt-in-your-mouth good. I would also recommend their Butterscotch Pudding dessert, which had a pool of solidified chocolate at the bottom of the glass it came in that had me scraping out every last morsel. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and recommended just the right dishes for us. We’ll be back next time!
