The salons ambiance is mediocre and outdated. Now, the nail technicians are sweet, but the service lacked quality and finesse. I came in for a deluxe pedicure and gel manicure. The total time lasted only 30 minutes. It was very rushed. With that said, I paid good money for a mani and pedi that was not up to par. Indeed it was a waste of my time and money. My suggestion is, If you are in the Avalon/Lake Underhill area go to Hand foot Spa.

Great neighborhood spot for pampering! My husband & I both pop in for pedicures regularly and love the attention we receive! With four pedicure options from $ 25 to $ 40, customers choose how long/short their service lasts according to their own time constraints. Its a busy place so avoid rush times to maximize your technician’s personal attention.

My daughter and I came in for pedicure advertised as 45 min long. Not only did hers finish 15 min before mine, there was no massage as advertised. Would NOT recommend

I’ve come here for several years now and they offer great services. They’re very nice and I get my eyebrows done here once to twice a month. Highly recommend

I go here twice a month to get my nails /toes done. Not only do they rush me but I get hung up on when trying to make appointments & they have made me come back on different days multiple times because they didn’t have anyone that could do pink & white… That’s like working at a hair salon but not know how to style hair. I honestly don’t know how this place stays open because they conduct horrible business & don’t treat their consistent clients any better than they treat anyone else. They also don’t clean thoroughly enough at alllll when it comes to the things they use for a pedicure. They don’t value their customers at all.

Prior to getting a full at this location my nail had not been done in four weeks. They still looked great just grown out. I felt very rushed during my fill. A woman who was pregnant walked in and the lady who was doing my nails knew her. The woman had no appointment yet, my technician rushed me in order to be able to take care of her. She didn’t go through the normal steps which I’m used to. Very minimal filing and she just slapped on acrylic which I had to pick off the sides of my nails once dried. The gel polish I chose is a very nice color yet it began to chip 4 days later. Based on previous reviews I would rather not bother going in and attempting to have it fixed. Won’t be going to this location again.

I am glad to have found this place. It is not as convenient a location to my home as other salons, but I do not have to go too far out of my way. First, the 2 or 3 massage chairs I have been seated in worked very well and the massage mechanisms functioned correctly. There are many more chairs, but I have only visited 3 times in the past few months. Ken is the only nail tech I have been assigned and from now on I will be sure to request him. His massage technique is great. Firm, but not painful. I like a deeper muscle-type of massage and am pleased with him. I do not feel like the techs are rushing through clients even when the salon is very, very busy. They take time and are thorough. The experience has always been relaxing(so far). The prices are very reasonable and I feel I am getting good service for the money I spend. On the down side… sometimes they show really bad movies for the clients to watch. One visit they showed The Expendables. I do not want to watch an action movie during my pedicure. I wish they would play soothing spa music instead. The hot stone massage was not impressive. The aromatherapy with paraffin is perfect enough. They will grate and exfoliate callouses, but sometimes will forget the«cheese grater» part if you don’t remind them. I haven’t been offered anything to drink on my visits even though this service is on their brochure. All in all, I am pleased so far and will revisit them from now on. Yay… I found a good home nail salon!

They have the BEST pedicures ever and for a GREAT price! They have a menu of their pedicures and ask you which one you would like to have. I like to go for the $ 30 pedicure that is 45 minutes. They soak your feet, and then take care of your nails and the dead skin. Then they massage your feet and legs and then they exfoliate! They wrap you feet and legs in a hot towel and then after that do you nail color. It’s very relaxing and your not guessing what comes next because they do exactly what is written in the menu! I really enjoyed my pedicure!!!

I’ve never been one to get manicures and pedicures often, but I find them a much needed treat for my poor feet every three months or so because of the torture I infringe upon them from my running. When you run 30 to 50 miles a week on top of your normal day to day routine it takes a toll on your tootsies. Fortunately, Timber Nails and Spa is roughly a mile from my house! Nothing really makes this place stand out from other nail salons and day spas but they are very good at what they do and their prices won’t break your budget. You can get a mani and pedi for only $ 35 plus tip which is very good in my opinion. I’ve never received any of their other services but based upon the menu that greets you when you walk in everything is pretty moderately priced. For the pedicures, you get to sit in one of those big massage chairs that has different settings so you can make it cater to your needs. All of the techs speak broken English, but are very friendly and pretty meticulous when it comes to your feet. For a manicure, you sit at the standard nail tech area while they soak your fingers and clean up the cuticle area. There is always a movie playing too which makes the whole experience quite relaxing. Overall, I’m a huge fan and so happy they’re close to my home.
