Beware of the dog that bites in your neighborhood! Keep your children away! I was bitten by a big black dog that belongs to a guy who lives in 321A. Judging by his age, the owner might be a undergraduate student in UCF. But I don’t claim any conclusion about that. The location is on the right hand side of the office, on the trail between the office and the basketball court. This guy tied his dog to an anchor in the lawn. But the string is long enough so that the dog can run on the trail. See the pictures that I upload. The last picture of the wound was taken right after I was bitten. The first and the second picture were taken one day after the attack. It was not the most malicious bite. Thanks to my thick canvas pants for they largely blocked the attack! But as you can see in the picture, the wound swell badly. And you can clearly see the shape of the scar left by teeth! Yesterday when I walk on that trail, the dog came up to me. I just looked at it and smiled while kept walking with my normal pace.(I didn’t do anything peculiar or unusual to stimulate the dog, nor tried to pet it.) But what I never expected was, all of a sudden, the dog took a bite on my thigh! It was a pretty big dog that was able to bit my thigh without jumping.(I am 5’9″) The owner of the dog was right there at the site and saw the whole thing happened. So I immediately informed him that I was bitten. However, what I didn’t expect more was, instead of controlling his dog and seeking solutions, this guy lost his temper immediately. Ironically enough, I was a victim of an assault and he was the one who got really provoked. He shouted at me, claiming that I tried to scam him, and tried to stop me from going to the office, when I was merely trying to use the restroom there to check my wound! I wore long pants and l don’t want to take off my pants in public… After I took the pictures of the wound in the restrooms and came out. A lady from the staff told me that he was looking for me, and walked out with me to confront him. Seeing a staff coming, this guy just became even more ridiculous. He shouted in my face all the time. I had to tell him to calm down several times in order to arouse some sense of sanity and reasoning from him. Moreover, all he ever said and did was trying to distort the fact and sell his lies to the staff. He told the staff that I walked by, scared by his friendly dog, and delusionally claimed to be bitten out of nothing. And I had to magically make a wound on my leg from nowhere too! He tried so hard to convince, the staff or himself, that I was willing to spend my time and energy to «enjoy» his rudeness, while in fact I was suffering physical and psychological trauma! And I had to stand there, tried to maintain concentrated only to deal with his lies and humiliation, with wounds from his dog on my leg! This man is a COWARD! He is the person with the strongest denial complex that I have ever met. He really did the best of his poor acting in order to escape from responsibility, as well as deny the fact as possible as he can. The staff did not treat this accident seriously, by only appearing«impartial» to both sides. I was shocked by the attack and didn’t realize the way she dealt with this assault was wrong at that time. As a staff of the apartment, your responsibilities include preventing your tenants from being harmed, providing, at least, a safe home for people who live here, not being«impartial» so that you can ignore the animal attack, go back to your normal business, forget about all this, pretend that nothing just happened was significant, and leave the injury and the false accusation to the victim himself. Now I am really worried about my safety and the safety of other people in the neighborhood, especially the children who play around that spot! Not only because of the dog that bites, but also the owner who discriminates in favor of his dog and agree that his dog brings harm upon others!

1 star is too much. Forget the monthly shootings, drug trafficking, and arson. Every room is literally infested with cockroaches. I read the reviews before moving in and just assumed people were exaggerating. Nope. At any given time, in any given room, I could point out 10 live German roaches. This is with an exterminator visiting every week! It took several months of complaining in the office and a letter from an attorney to eventually allow the exterminator to fumigate the house(he had recommended it but the complex wouldn’t pay for it). It cured the problem for a month before the problem came back. It took them 2 months to fix my A/C unit in the summer, sticking a portable unit in my window. The windows did not have locks and were never repaired over a year of requests. When my A/C unit was replaced, they ripped a hole in my wall, pulled out the old unit. Inside the walls were layers and layers of black mold. Again, the office never responded. When they installed the new unit, it stuck out past the wall and was never covered! I literally was left with a giant hole in the wall with an A/C unit sticking out of it, surrounded by mold of all colors. But here’s the best part. After moving out, I received a call from a debt collector several months later stating that I owed them $ 1000 for not giving them notice to move out(despite giving them written notice to move out). 2 months later and they still will not answer or return my calls. Amazing that these building haven’t been knocked down yet.

Stay away. Rates are cheap, at least they were when my girlfriend and I moved in, but the place is full of problems. Apartment has been infested with roaches since Day 1 and still is even after multiple fumigating and bombing. Air conditioning unit has been replaced three times. Had MAJOR water leak issue where the walls and ceilings became so damp that mushrooms grow out of them. Management still denies any wrong doing and tried to settle the issue by sending a specialist that literally did nothing. Speaking of management, you’ll never encounter such a sarcastic and condescending group of «professionals» anywhere else. The girls who work at the desks are very friendly and nice, but management proper is horrendous. They seem to be the type of business who just snickers after you have signed the lease and have a legal obligation to pay them, issues be damned. More money is being thrown into renovating units and renting them at a mark up as opposed to fixing the issues of the current residents.
