The Green Leaf Spa

I’m not really sure why there are any positive reviews, but considering they were both from a year ago I will make an acception.
This place is totally over priced for its massage services. I had received a gift for a 90 minute massage but what I got was 90 minutes of just more stress. I have never come out of a massage more tense than when I walked in. The woman was nice, but I couldn’t tell you her name because she didn’t introduce herself. And when asking for more pressure — it just didn’t happen. I was willing to look over everything as long as she did a great job on my neck, shoulders, and upper back (considering I told her I wanted a concentration on those parts given that’s where I hold the most tension). I was so looking forward to the digging and the knots being worked but she barely went under my shoulder blades, let alone work out any knots. I was so disappointed. As for the other services they have there I cannot make a recommendation.

A hidden gem,

I am not sure why this spa hasn’t been reviewed yet… because it is amazing! Best way to describe it… a very cozy spa where you can truly getaway. My sister and I booked a Zen massage (traditional Swedish/​relaxation massage) on a mid Thursday afternoon.
The spa is located in a tucked away community off of Lake Nona Blvd. Upon arriving at the private community, we were greeted by a gate guard who already had our names and appointment times… we were starting to feel pretty important… very upscale community. We were let in and the spa was told of our arrival. Parking was easy. The spa is located in a quaint shopping plaza mainly used by the community’s residents so parking is never a problem. Upon entering the spa I was greeted by a cozy waiting area with beautiful décor… crème-​colored, slightly-​shimmering walls and green modern furniture. The spa’s staff were professional, friendly, and above all extremely hospitable. We were immediately offered a glass of wine, water, or tea… of course I had some wine. What better way to relax? The staff, especially the spa’s owner and our masseuse, had great personalities to match! They took their time making sure that we were accommodated.
A quick look around the massage room revealed a very clean environment with minimalistic décor and candles throughout. The placed smelled amazing! It was clear that the staff had done some prep work before we arrived which made us feel very special. Relaxing music played softly in the background. Prior to the massage, the masseuse asked about our preferences (how much pressure, etc) and any areas of focus for the massage. I personally have problems with too much pressure during massages (guess I’m delicate) and I end up more tense than relaxed. Throughout the massage, the masseuse quietly asked if the pressure was okay and made sure I was fine. During the massage, we felt pampered and relaxed the entire time. There was definitely quality and attention to detail in the services that we received. Ask for Sami for your massage! He is great at what he does!

The best massage i’ve had in a long time. Very experienced and knowledgable staff. I would definitely recommend!
