This is the fourth time we have been to the Garden Grill. The menu has changed slightly, the tilapia is gone, and has been replaced with Italian sausage. The beef is AWESOME!!! The wait staff is exquisite as always(Bob was awesome), and the food is delicious. FYI the dessert has also changed, instead of the berry bake, it is now a delicious vanilla pound cake. The characters are playful and spend plenty of time at the table, they pose for funny pictures, and come around several times during the meal. Plan on a minimum of 1 and ½ hours to enjoy the meal. The restaurant rotates about one revolution per hour. Spend the money and enjoy. You only live once and this is a must.

Awesome awesome experience! The food is fantastic, fresh, and served fast. Our server had the traditional«Disney attitude» you expect when you go to one of their restaurants. Super friendly and willing to answer any of my ridiculous questions such as, «is this the same fish I was looking at earlier on The Land?», «did this fish know I was going to take his photo AND eat him in the same day?» Sadly, the fish aren’t the same ones in the tanks downstairs since they wouldn’t be able to match demand if they served food that they grow on the ride. Awesome experience with my wife. Would definitely come back with our group of friends!

I don’t know what took my husband and I so long to come here! It was so good and a ton of food! We made reservations for 8pm on Valentine’s Day. I was afraid we’d be one of the last reservations of the night and they would rush us since the park closed at 9pm but it wasn’t like that at all. Our server was so friendly, knowledgable and never rushed us through our meal. People were still being seated at 8:30pm. The restaurant is located in the Land pavilion at Epcot. It’s a family style restaurant and you can get more of anything you liked but you can’t take it home. The restaurant actually rotates during the meal. Our server told us it takes one hour to make a full rotation and that’s just about how long it takes to complete your meal. While the restaurant is rotating it’s moving through the Living with the Land boat ride. We were on the second floor of the restaurant so we couldn’t see much of the ride but we could feel the heat from the part of the ride that features the plains. There’s a mural on part of the wall in the restaurant and our server was kind enough to point out the hidden Mickey. Oh! And this is character dining! Farmer Mickey in these adorable overalls, chip & dale and Pluto will all come visit your table for pictures. They actually came by twice while we were there. The meal is made up of amazing comfort food. They do give off the illusion that most of the fish and veggies come from the greenhouses in the boat ride but our server advised only some seasonal veggies are taken from there. They serve too many people a day that the greenhouses wouldn’t be able to keep up. They start you off with a garden salad that includes bacon ranch dressing and hard boiled eggs along with a bread basket and orange blossom honey butter. These two items alone were delicious! The honey on the butter adds flavor to the bread and I loved the added extras you don’t find in an everyday salad. Your main entrée and supporting sides arrive next. Beef, mashed potatoes, turkey, bacon & leek stuffing, Mac and cheese with goldfish on top, tilapia with tomato jam, sausage & peppers and broccoli. We could have also had sweet potato fries and cranberry sauce but they put cinnamon in both and due to my allergy I couldn’t have any but that’s ok because we had plenty of food otherwise. The beef, mashed potatoes, broccoli and tilapia were my favorites. I don’t knew what they put in those mashed potatoes but they were crack! I don’t think I would have enjoyed the tilapia as much if it didn’t have the tomato jam. My husband raved about the sausage and peppers. The Mac and cheese is stouffers and the goldfish is a good idea but they get soggy fast. Everything we had was great but those were my favorites. For dessert you get pound cake with berry compote and whip cream! That was great too! Best of all the whole meal only cost $ 41 a person which compared to some of the other family style restaurants at Disney that’s a great price! We will definitely be back and probably with friends!

The food is amazing! They just started serving breakfast and it’s just as good as the lunch and dinner menu! My family’s favorite part of this dining experience is the waiter Cory, we request him every time we dine here!

One of my favorite Disney restaurants from my childhood and after returning 17 years later it did not disappoint. The characters were hilarious and waitress was a fantastic sport! We went for lunch which was a great idea as you get so much food then have the evening to snack at the country showcase. They have a wide variety of drinks with your typical park prices. The all you can eat served family style starts with a delicious Cesar salad– the bowl looks smaller than it really is. Up next the full entrée comes with sliced filet, sausage, and turkey. For sides cooked broccoli and veggie mix, mashed potatoes, stuffing, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes fries, and cranberry sauce. Everything is fantastic and you can order extras of anything. Highlights include the filet, mashed potatoes(so creamy and buttery), and Mac and cheese. For dessert we had a pound cake topped with whipped cream and berries plus 2 bonus chocolate cupcakes. The only thing missing was ice cream. I highly recommend this restaurant when visiting Epcot– make sure to request a booth as the restaurant rotates and you will get the best view.

They serve a family style breakfast buffet where all the items on the menu will come to your table on a shareable plate. Its an all american style breakfast where there are scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, tasty tots, and definitely my favourite item which was the Mickey Mouse shaped waffles. They also served fruits, biscuit with gravy and a massive cinnamon bun. Although the breakfast did have a high price point, I thought that having the characters such as Mickey Mouse, Pluto and Chip ‘n’ Dale going around to every single table and interacting with each party is worth it. I didn’t want to wait in line to take a picture with these characters in the parks and this restaurant provided that opportunity to take a picture and interact with the characters. Another selling point is that the restaurant rotates and you get a nice view of the set from ‘The Land’ ride. Service was exceptional as the waitress frequently came by and asked us if everything was ok and was quick to refill our additional food orders. Definitely check this place out when you are in Epcot as I had a magical time eating breakfast.

We love The Garden Grill! It is truly one of our favorite restaurants at Disney World. We make reservations every time we visit, and haven’t been disappointed yet. Reservations aren’t easy to get, so book early. During our last trip, we were able to book a reservation when we arrived at the resort. This is a character dining experience, so be sure to bring your camera. Farmer Mickey, Pluto and Chip/Dale will visit your table often. The restaurant revolves and you get to see different areas of The Land, which is the ride below. The food is served family style. They will serve a giant platter of turkey/dressing, steak and fish. They also start you off with warm rolls with honey butter and a delicious salad. Many of the ingredients are grown in the big greenhouse. If you haven’t taken the tour, I would suggest that you do before eating. You will certainly appreciate the food even more! Service is always fantastic. Though, I have never received anything less while at Disney.

We loved the farmer get-up Mickey was wearing during this meal. He and Pluto came around and we also met Chip and Dale each separately. We had time for photos and each character stayed at our table posing for a few shots with our son and myself. We only saw each character once though, which is different that what some people experienced. Our meal was a pre-park opening breakfast and once the gates were opened for reservation guests we made our way back to the Land Pavilion with barely any crowd around us. This was a great chance to take some shots with little to no people in the background. I should note that the cast members directed us straight to the restaurant so there was not really a chance to take pics with Spaceship Earth in the back, but once near our destination we got some really fun shots near the Nemo ride all alone. The food for breakfast was a delicious tray of sticky buns, and a nice bowl of fresh fruit, this was followed by a platter of hot eggs(overcooked sadly) bacon, ham steaks, biscuits and gravy and breakfast potatoes(essentially seasoned tator tots). All in all our meal was good, the hot sauce was not spicy at all but flavorful, and the biscuits were a surprising stand out. Buttery crisp outside with tender soft interior, actually very good. The rotation of the restaurant actually did not affect the one«motion sick» person in the group but bothered the one of us that can spin the tea-cups like a Wildman four rides in a row and not be effected… so who knows. You barely notice it though, so most people should be fine.

Wonderful character dining experience especially after you complete the Living with the Land ride. I initially thought it would be boring but turned out great, the garden and fish ponds were pretty neat and my tot liked that Mickey«grew» all his food and seeing it all before dinner. The food was great quality but of course you are distracted with all the characters visiting that you don’t really eat that much. We ended up leaving a lot of the food because they served huge family style portions and we just couldn’t finish it all. Seemed a little wasteful to me. I wanted to try the fruit cobbler for dessert for example but after seeing it was a small plate size I passed. The wait staff is amazing and tries their best to check in and ensures you have seen all of the characters. A lady behind us was on her own and our waiter was really nice and helped her take pictures and chatted with her to keep her company– NO he was not hitting on her =). He also packed us cupcakes to go in little cups since we turned down dessert, which was really nice. TIP: Make reservation and request a table on the outside by the glass. If you sit on the inner, top level you can’t see everything as you rotate around. You actually catch glimpses of the Living with the Land ride which is really neat.

Epcot’s Future World is not well-known for its dining options. The World Showcase definitely draws a crowd with its globe-spanning restaurants, but there are still some great choices that don’t fall within the international pavilions. Take for example the Garden Grill in Future World’s The Land Pavilion. Not far from one of Epcot’s biggest attractions, Soarin’, the Garden Grill is a family-style character dining experience with a rotating dining room. Yes, you heard right, the restaurant is actually round and rotates very slowly throughout your entire meal. The view from your table is pretty awesome if you’re a fan of Living with the Land, since that’s your view through the majority of your meal! If you’re lucky enough to have one of the booths facing outward, like we did, you will see some of the classic scenes from the first portion of Living with the Land(before all the greenhouses). The biggest draw at Garden Grill is definitely the character experiences, so let’s start there. You’ll meet four classic Disney characters while enjoying your meal, and they will visit your table FREQUENTLY! In fact, we got three visits from each character throughout dinner. That’s tons of great photo opportunities. You get to see Farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale. This is the highlight of the meal and the reason people are willing to pay extra to dine here. I especially love that you get a lot of quality time with each character, rather than just a quick visit. So the character experience is a huge plus, as is the rotating dining room with views of Living with the Land, but at the end of the day you’re here to eat. The menu is all-you-care-to-enjoy family style and includes lots of delicious comforting dishes to please any palate. We start off with«Living with the Land» Harvest-inspired Farmer’s Salad featuring produce from the greenhouses in The Land Pavilion. It also includes some protein from a hard-boiled egg and bacon. My only criticism is that I wish it was dressed a bit better. I was one of the last in our group to grab some salad and I couldn’t really taste any dressing. We also got to enjoy a Basket of Warm Bread served with orange blossom honey butter. Bread and butter is one of my favorite things in the entire universe, and the combination here doesn’t disappoint. The bread is fluffy with a bit of crust, and the butter is drizzled with honey and topped with a sprinkle of sea salt. Pure comfort. A large platter consists of all of our entrees paired up with sides: Sliced Turkey Breast with Turkey Gravy, Bacon and Leek Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, Sustainable Fish of the Day with Tomato Jam, Rice Pilaf, Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes, Char-Grilled Sliced Beef Filet with Red Wine Demi-Glacé. My favorite is probably the beef because it’s the most tender, and I absolutely love the demi-glacé. It gives the beef even more flavor. The mashed potatoes are a good counterpart and oh so comforting! We still have more food to discuss! There’s also another platter including more side dishes. This features Garden Fresh Vegetables(in this case we got broccoli), Home-style Macaroni and Cheese, and Sweet Potato Fries. I’m not gonna lie, with all this awesome food I didn’t even touch the broccoli. The mac and cheese is your typical Stouffer’s-style(or even possibly ACTUAL Stouffer’s), which is so comforting even for this food snob. I love that they top it with goldfish crackers! What a brilliant way to add a crunchy topping, while still being playful. The sweet potato fries are also excellent, crispy, and irresistible. At this point you’re really wishing you could phone in for an extra stomach. But I digress… In general the food was pretty cold by the time I started eating because we had characters show up at our table just as the food at arrived – and then of course I was busy taking pictures of the food before diving in, teehee. Even with the food being on the colder side, I have to say I was still quite pleased and would be thrilled to visit the Garden Grill again. It was just kind of unfortunate that the food arrived and then immediately Chip & Dale stopped by. I shouldn’t complain though. They’re both pretty adorable! I didn’t exactly save room for dessert, but it’s included with the meal, so here goes! You get a Seasonal Dessert Skillet with Vanilla Bean Whipped Cream. We were here in early September and had a four-berry skillet featuring strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries and topped with a lovely nutty crumble topping. I took a couple bites and thought it was excellent. I only wish I had saved more room to really indulge :( I’m so in love with Garden Grill. Although I generally sway toward many of the enticing dining options in the World Showcase, Garden Grill definitely holds its own for so many reasons. Between the delicious comforting food, the wonderful character interactions, and of course the rotating dining room overlooking Living with the Land, it’s definitely worth a visit!

The Garden Grill is a restaurant located inside of Epcot. My husband and I decided to take our 6 year old to the restaurant because she wanted to meet the Disney Characters so bad that she was willing to skip a meal to do it. We felt that this was a win win situation. She would get to meet the characters and all of us could enjoy a family style meal. The Garden Grill is a restaurant that rotates while you are eating. It happened so slowly that it took about 5 – 10 minutes for us to realize we were rotating(which is a good thing when you are eating). The server that was assigned to our table was awesome! He continued to check on us and ensure that our table had enough food and replenished as needed. The meal was an all you can eat family style salad, entrée, and dessert. The salad had egg, bacon, cheese, onions, tomatoes and cucumbers. The main course consisted of macaroni and cheese, tilapia, steak, chicken, rice, turkey, gravy, and stuffing. The dessert was a berry tart with whipped cream. The highlights to the meal were the steak and the dessert. Everything else was just ok. In my opinion the meal was a little pricey for the quality of food received. My daughter on the other hand enjoyed everything! She ate all of her food and was so excited to take pictures with Mickey Mouse, Chip & Dale and Pluto. Although I thought the price didn’t add up with the quality of food… the look on her face was priceless!

What a great and different place to eat in WDW. With so many choices and unique dining options it was nice to have a great classic home cooked kind of meal that is never home cooked anymore. The fiancé and I ate her and loved it. The food was delish and all fresh and natural. Most of your dinner comes from within the Land. Must do Living with the Land ride before dinner. See exactly where your food comes from. The filet of beef was the best and very tender. The salad was awesome and we stuffed our faces with everything. Also a big plus and easy way to see Chip and Dale along with Mickey and Pluto without having to wait on any long lines in the park. I strongly suggest trying this place out. Nice break from everywhere else you can eat in the parks.

I want to scream from the rooftops that this place is totally worth the price! Such a fun and unique experience! The restaurant slowly rotates around several landscapes while Disney characters come to play at your table. Chip and Dale are always sure to spend extra time kidding around with the little ones! The food is phenomenal and all you care to eat. Fresh catfish, turkey, salad, mashed potatoes, veggies, bread, and more! Vegetarian options available upon request, but even if all you enjoy are the mashed potatoes and veggies, it’s still worth it! If you don’t have kids in your party, make sure to request the dirt and worms as part of your dessert! It’s sooo good!(I feel sorry for the guests who report dry and cold meals! I wonder what was wrong the days they visited? I’ve been here over a dozen times and had an amazing experience for every single meal!) IMPORTANTTIP: Make sure to ride«Living with the Land» just before dining here! You will get to see where a lot of the food served at the restaurant is grown, including the fish! It makes your meal even more fun!

I must say that we try and hit this place once a year while we are at Disney. Family orientated all you can eat and Disney characters to top it off. If your looking to get a good home cooked meal with pictures and signatures of some of Disney Characters, this is the place for you. The revolving restaurant is located in the Future world right above soaring and Living with the Land. Once seated it takes an hour to come full circle as you slowing rotate with birds eye views of the Living with the land ride. Disney characters make their way around to each table to interact with you and your children. Great opportunity to get a signature and a quick photo with them. The food comes on bottomless self serving plates, when you want/need more food you just ask and they bring more to you. Tonight we had baked Mac-N-cheese with goldfish cracker, Mouth watering roast beef, creamy mashed potatoes, fish with rice, juicy turkey with stuffing, steamed broccoli and sweat potato fries. Of course we started with rolls and honey butter. For desert we had warm berry crisp with whipped vanilla cream and a vanilla cupcake cooked in a cone shape with chocolate frosting. Let’s just say everything was perfectly cooked and especially the roast beef. VERYSATISFIED and please with out meal and experience!

There are no words other than BAD. We had a very expensive and«not worth it» dinner here. Easily from a quality stand-point, our worst dinner of the vacation. The moving aspect of the restaurant also made some of our party a little unsettled/queasy. Our service was friendly and the manager who sat us was a doll. And let’s face it, the kids loved the Chip, Dale, Mickey and Pluto… but at the end of the day, 100% not worth it.

This was our first character meal and it was so fun. Our son was a little unsure of the characters but they were very kind and patient with my husband and I as we tried to get him involved. Lots of hugging and high-five-ing. I mean how can anyone not like silly Chip(we never saw the two together, odd, right?) We were all so tired(and hot!) from our day in Epcot that we only had one serving of the platters but the waiter was more than willing to bring out more. You’re given plenty to eat. My fave was the turkey and dressing and the fresh salad. Make sure to request a booth when you check in. Having an early reservation(we did 3pm) will cut down on any wait time … The restaurant opens at 3. Just go and have fun!

This restaurant is super expensive but it’s defiantly worth the money. Plus if you don’t come to disney world a lot sometimes it might be once in a lifetime. This was our first time to visit. As many other reviewers suggested, go on the boat ride below the restaurant first. There you will be educated on the neat farming techniques Epcot uses to grow their own vegetables and fish. There goal is to not waste anything. Then get ready for the ride for your palate. We went for the dinner buffet. The food was simply amazing!!! Tasty and very high quality. Our server always checked on us and filled our drinks without asking. We didn’t ask for seconds because we also had dessert. The characters come by and spend a good amount of time with you. Chip and Dale, Pluto and farmer Mickey passed stopped by our table about three different times. The children loved it and as parents it was such a joy to see our children light up with excitement in their eyes. Our reservation was at 7:10 pm. The day we went the park closed at 9. The day we went it was my birthday. The manager gave me a birthday cake. I also received a personalized birthday card from all the characters there. The cake was a not sweet cake which I like. This I was have to say was the best birthday EVER!!! I had my family with me, wonderful food and dessert and to make it more entertaining the characters walking around and greeting you. After dinner, we probably left there about 8:30 we were able to walk and see the fireworks. It was a magical day I’ll never forget! I forgot to mention make reservations as soon as you know when your going to Epcot. Silly me made the reservations probably a week before and thankfully I was able to make a reservation. Otherwise it may have not been so magical.

My three step system for the most amazing Garden Grill Experience: Step 1: Make Reservations. Step 2: Prior to said reservation time, ride«Living With the Land» Step 3: Go upstairs and meet for your reservation. As you may have read, Garden Grill(from here on referred to as GG) actually gets some of its food from the Living With the Land attraction. It made dining at GG all the more enjoyable(for us, at least). Our party consisted of a mix of vegetarians and meat eaters and the folks at GG were more than happy to accommodate us. As thus, all meat products were on one platter, while the incredible veggie friendly stuffed poblano pepper was on a platter of its own. A wonderful assortment of various sides accompanied the meal, as did the wonderful fresh and hot rolls, honey butter, fresh garden salad(minus bacon), and other yummy goodies. Dessert was a fruit/berry cobbler with freshly whipped cream. Standard drink fare is included with the price and they also offer a selection of local craft beer at an additional cost. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. There was a bit of a wait for seating(even with the reservation) and a small wait from the time we were seated to the arrival of the first course, but nothing that in any way lessened the wonderful experience we had here. The restaurant rotates at quite a slow pace and gives you some unique views of the Living With the Land attraction(which you rode prior to your reservation when following my easy three step plan). Characters! YES! Chip & Dale, Pluto, and even Farmer Mickey make the rounds at this restaurant and allow you some quality one on one time for photos and autographs. Even for us big kids, they are silly and entertaining enough to spark that inner-childhood excitement as they approach the table. So there you have it. Stick to my simple plan and enjoy an evening where the smile never once leaves your face. It’s well worth it, splurge a bit, after all, you’re at Disney. It’s all about the magic and the memories.

Hands down my favorite character experience. It’s a much more intimate dining experience than the buffets. Chip & Dale are a family favorite & all of the characters spend a few minutes with you. They’re very interactive, far more than just an autograph and photo. During our last visit one character was on the floor rolling around in laughter at a jokey Daughter told and another was doing the metal horns with her.(See photo)! The meal here is by far one of my favorites in all of DW, but particularly Epcot. Excellent use of a dining credit. I think about the salad and dessert frequently! They’re extremely accommodating my picky 6 year old wasn’t a fan of the food, so the chef went to ANOTHER restaurant and got her chicken nuggets because that’s what she wanted. I wish our visits were more than yearly. Do yourself a favor and settle in for a dinner about 1.5 hours before the fireworks as the entire dining experience takes an hour and it gives you enough time to get a seat for the show.
